  1. Well, now he can get to work on another Longest Yard sequel. It's gotta be better than the Adam Sandler version...
  2. CFNY was terrific. The format, the on-air talent (Dave Marsden, Chris Sheppard). They really were the Spirit of Radio in those days...
  3. Not New Wave by any stretch of the definition. Great band, however...
  4. Put me on ignore then. RealClearPolitics is a trash site and so is anything connected to it...
  5. It's for MAGA wingnuts who like "real" news.... "RealClearLife is part of the RealClearPolitics family of sites with some of the highest wealth and education demographics of any online audience. RCL’s audience exceeded 2 million users in our first year alone."
  6. OT, Boy George and Culture Club, the B-52s and Tom Bailey (Thompson Twins) are at Artpark tonight--totally sold out, all 10,000 tickets. Nostalgia tour for sure, but that sounds like a real fun line up...
  7. Sorry, it's impossible not to...especially when it comes to the "deep thoughts" of Tweedle-Dee and Dumb...
  8. Good God! Do you really think hacks like Sully and the Buckster have any influence on the teams they cover??? smh...
  9. Dunlap's an absolute monster. His size/length really stood out to me on Sunday--he looked gigantic compared to the other players on the field and was almost skinny at his 280-pound playing weight...
  10. LOL! Thanks for the good laugh...
  11. Sorry, that boat has sailed...
  12. Yep. Everything in that anecdote about Pegs was the author's opinion/projection. Leibovich is the tool and doesn't even realize it...
  13. His wheels are gone. Was at the game yesterday and the Ross TD was right in front of us. It was truly embarrassing coverage and it didn't get much better from there...
  14. What an original thread....
  15. I think it had to do with the new rule change: If a runner (including a quarterback) gives himself up, then he is down where the first body part touches the ground. The runner should not benefit from additional yardage after the first body part touches. Defenders do not have to go down to initiate contact to stop a runner from gaining more yards after he contacts the ground. A quarterback does not have to slide feet first to be considered to be giving himself up. Regardless whether the slide is feet first or head first, as long as he gives himself up, he should receive the protections afforded to him as a player in a defenseless posture.
  16. His accuracy problems are tied to arm strength, IMO. He has to wind up and really drive it to make certain throws, which means everything has to be in sync--footwork, clean pocket, WR separation, etc. He can do it occasionally, but not consistently. Which makes him look good enough to keep tantalizing a segment of the fan base, much like Fitz did. Win a few games, lose a few games...
  17. One glance and I just knew who started this thread by the title...
  18. The actual games on the field? Nope, still love em. The 24/7 media and message board remora attached to those games. Yeah, I'm increasingly tired of that...
  19. This. Coleman makes the team simply because he allows Dabol to open up the playbook more. Streeter will be the odd man out IMO. He's a finished product and won't be getting better. McLeod is still learning and has room for growth, plus he contributes on ST. And I'd really like to keep Reilly, but I guess we'll have to let the Pats have him...
  20. Frankly, I'd be happy with less talk / PR and more "let my play do the talking"...
  21. On 2,400 attempts? No bet. I already have Chris Hogan penciled in as their #2 wideout...
  22. It's unquestionably at an all-time high as well...
  23. "If Robert Woods was a true #2 WR, the pass catching-needy #Bills would not have let him get away..."
  24. It's going to take a larger body of work -- and against first team players -- before we have a better handle on his progress, IMO. It's fun to dream, but better to pump the breaks a bit with the 'he's fixed' talk. Although if he has a good game Sunday, talk away...
