  1. I wonder if punting at 600 feet above sea level (Buffalo) will hurt him versus 5,300 feet (Albuquerque, NM)...
  2. Last year, the Ravens were 9-7 and ranked 6th in points allowed (Bills were 18th) and 9th in points scored (Bills were 22nd). In their home opener, they are surely badass enough to beat this Bills roster...
  3. The big difference for me this year is that the FO has not sold the fans a "bill of goods" (i.e., hype) regarding how good the team really is. The McBeane duo has been realistic and up front about the 'process' and where it stands. Too many times in the past, the front office has sold hype/hope and wound everyone up with expectations, only to see them fall flat like Charlie Brown attempting to kick the ball from Lucy's hold. It's a refreshing approach, if not exactly exhilarating...
  4. Running scout team as the third QB might help a guy like this. No pressure, little expectations. Worth the risk for the Bills to check him out...
  5. Got it. I have so many people on ignore I have a hard time following the screeching posts on TSW anymore...
  6. He passed through waivers. His rookie contract is null and void...
  7. That was my thought as well. He's elligible to fill one of the four "special" PS slots for guy's who''e been on the active 43 roster more than 8 games but have less than two years in the league....
  8. Nope. Not even a little bit...
  9. Gee, I only thought he sat down to pee. Who knew...
  10. This is actually a very useful thread...
  11. LMFAO! You're right! http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24142487/brent-musburger-replace-greg-papa-oakland-raiders-radio-play-play-voice
  12. The Not For Long league indeed. Two years ago, the 'Boys were thought to have the best OL in football...
  13. He must have been dumped by Pegula's daughter...
  14. Curious... Bojorquez flashed a huge leg during August practices, but his ball placement wasn't always precise. His training camp reps were inconsistent. At least the Patriots had four exhibition games to evaluate the young fella. And yet....the final tally for preseason punts is an interesting one: Ryan Allen 22, Corey Bojorquez 0. http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/patriots/the_blitz/2018/08/patriots_punter_corey_bojorquez_just_hoping_for_the_best_after
  15. It will be interesting to see how many quality FA's actually come available. Most teams (those not named Raiders, anyway) seem to find the money lock up their guys. Still, based on this Bills roster, it wouldn't take much to improve the talent...
  16. The fans carried the goalpost up to Ralph's box and presented it to him...
  17. I was going to post the link, but as a public service decided not to. Stupidest Bills-related article ever...
  18. Beebe was a good complementary WR who absolutely would be a lock to make the current Bills roster if they had a time machine to get him.... 19. I could see him landing in Miami. Their TEs are not exactly Murders Row: Mike Gesicki Durham Smythe MarQueis Gray A.J. Derby Nick played college ball in the state and Grampa Jack is a season ticket holder, so there's intangibles as well...
  20. Yes. But most teams are locked and loaded with their rosters after the final waiver claim awards. PS signings have to be placed on the active roster and can't be moved to their own PS. Would some desperate team sign Foster to their active roster later in the season? Maybe. But he'd be likely to stay on the Bills PS for a while...
  21. Maybe it involves Mrs. McCarron...
  22. Yep. Let's wait for the waiver claim awards before saying he made the team. Foster will likely get stashed on the PS after other teams' rosters are set...
  23. Yeah, I agree with that, too. It seemed like he eventually decided at one point, "WTF, if these WRs cant't get open I'll just make something happen myself." It seemed to improve his confidence and get him back into the game more...
