  1. Jameis Winston - He will be neck and neck with Mariotta for the Heisman. As for the NFL I dont think the running QB translates, he and Manziel will struggle with reading defenses and arm strength. And when I say reading defenses I dont mean the DE for the read option, i mean the secondary and coverages.
  2. It isn't the injury IMO, he has regressed significantly. His feel for the offense is terrible and he has no patience to set up blockers. You can see it when the play develops, he doesnt like contact, that is why he runs to the sideline like a pee wee player. Sad part is he is probably the most talented RB next to AP in the league the difference is the mind set and Hackett's play calling with him on the field is also holding him back. How they can't get him lined up on a LBer in coverage is baffling, I dont even mean screens but overall its terrible. Fred is a pro and does what it takes. He know the 2 yarder will turn into 12 sooner or later. Spiller doesn't have that. Sorry, just my opinion.
  3. There were a few on Cincy's last few drives. These refs get worse and worse...
  4. did anyone see the mugging the LT had on Brady's TD? If not enjoy..... http://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/2013/10/13/4835644/saints-patriots-2013-referees-holding-tom-brady-junior-galette
  5. The Lower lumbar muscles are most certainly related to the hamstrings. Now one causing an injury over the other is a totally different questions. Back issues like strains or pulls are associated with having weak core muscles or a contusion depending on HOW he was injured. Either way Stevie get your ass on the field and entertain the masses.
  6. Thats a shame, Young was a promising 5 star recruit from St Thomas Aquinas here in Fort Lauderdale. Was hoping he would have panned out.
  7. MODS closing this thread in 3....2....1....
  8. Is anyone else concerned about EJs terrible footwork. I am a huge fan and believe the kid will be a good player for years to come but my god was he terrible with people around him. Peyton had happy feet for 2 years but he could overcome it with his arm and talent. EJ isn't cut from that cloth, when he sets and throws hes like a unicorn running through a valley, when hes rushed he looks like he is throwing the ball with his less dominant hand. Hackett as the OC leaves a lot to be desired, some calls are great others are terrrrible, its the NFL you cant run the same offense with Tuel as you do with EJ, the read option does not work!! At least EJ has to keep it a few times to make teams stay honest, way too predictable IMO. Hopefully next week we rebound after a Cincy team who has to play the Patsies.
  9. Sadly he is in my line up this week. He goes for 80 yards and a TD. Sorry folks but playing the odds.
  10. Would really like to know what is going on with Bradham, guy was a stud in college and showed some promise. There is no way he is worse than Moats and has to be the fastest LBer next to Alonso.
  11. He is a first class dbag....ask Cleveland
  12. Yup, I listen to it every morning in the radio. They all are drinking the kool aid and with good reason. We did it after beating the Panthers. Now the Fish have Wake and Soliea (sp) out for a few weeks, will be interesting to see if they can keep up with the Saints.
  13. Tom Petty does not suck......
  14. Most shickinh portion about this: Rome still has a show....
  15. Side note: I loved how A. Williams played yesterday. Even though he had that late hit which really wasn't all that bad, he plays fast and hits extremely hard. Hes not afraid to stick his nose in there. We have needed that for a while.
  16. I agree with this, he plays the run great but is lost in coverage and is a huge liability. Our scheme has a few wrinkles to iron out but all in all very happy.
  17. The REason: their defense is so stacked with 4 and 5 star athletes that they mask any deficincies. Their D coordinator is the best on college and their depth makes them a factory. Once they get to the next level they have a hard time being counted on and the spot light is that much brighter.
  18. This site is becoming unreadable. MODS please vet these hacks before they start a horrific chain of nonsense, lets get the smart posters to actually come back.
  19. nice work, a bit midwestern with the one guys accent but very cool.
  20. Exactly... Scott was a bum, Pace was terrible, Revis was out and the only bright spots were Harris, Cro amd Landry....who is now gone. I would not worry too much about what the Jest fans have to contribute.
  21. gotta love it when you are a ****ty team down by two scores and you spin the ball after making a great catch. Fantastic!
  22. Good read, Tom is great on the show. Padma while nice to look at does not bring much else IMO.
  23. Love the show, thanks for the heads up!
