  1. Sorry...meant Louisville (got Cardinal stuck in my head). Point remains, ND was built up by the media and was never as good as #1 ranked team.
  2. You're out of your mind with delusion if you believe Notre Dame could hang with the likes of Oregon, Stanford, Georgia, A&M, and South Carolina. All those teams would run the Irish right out of the stadium. But you keep on believing the Pretenders of South Bend are relevant beyond the media that desperately wants them to be so.
  3. Not true, they get along just fine. They have supported each other throughout the season and Cousins looked genuinely concerned when RG3 went down. When Cousins won his first start, RG3 was the first person to meet him on the field and congratulate him. RG3 is all class and Cousins is to boot. The decision to not go with him when RG3 was obviously hurt was pure Shanahan stupidity. Of course RG3 will stand up for his coach because that's the kind of guy he is.
  4. Russell Wilson: About me?
  5. And here's the latest one! Wildcard weekend! http://profootballmock.com/nfl-qbs-on-facebook-wild-card-bitches/
  6. Screw that! Ron Rivera gets canned, we hire Lovie and then Lovie hires Ron! EXCELSIOR!!!!
  7. No, J-Dubs is still posting. He wasn't happy about the attacks on Chan but he spoke his peace and defended his opinions against other. JW is Canadian. They don't back down or run away from fights. lol
  8. Spoke to my friend on the Bears D...to a man, he is absolutely crushed that Lovie was fired. The team genuinely would walk through fire for him. He apparently is an amazing defensive-minded coach but he lacks the ability to nail down a good OC. Had he had one early in his run, he'd be looking at a few Super Bowls. Hiring Martz on his recommendation was his poison pill.
  9. Honestly, Chan would make a great OC. Especially if he's got someone with immense skill like Newton.
  10. I never found Tim Graham to be all that riveting in anything he writes. Maybe because he's a lot more thick-skinned and is a much stronger debater, but I'm much happier with Wawrow hanging around here than TG believing he was gracing us with his presence. His last post here was epic in how inflated he viewed himself.
  11. How's life at Dunder Mifflin these days?
  12. IF there was ever a guy who needed a year off to take care of business at home...I would say it was this guy. But, hey, it's not my life and he's free to move on as he chooses.
  13. Very good point. At this point, we all know that this is Whaley's team now and Nix is just presiding over it until after the draft. Horton doesn't have to impress Nix, he has to impress Whaley. And Whaley already knows who he is from their time together in Pittsburgh.
  14. Well...with Andy Reid going to Kansas City all but confirmed, I bet we will see Horton stay back and become Arizona's new HC. DANGNABBIT. I really wanted this guy out of every candidate.
  15. Yeah, but is he a "brother"? Or a "cornball brother"? I mean, is Horton down with the cause?
  16. My feeling is that the Bills won't hire Horton. He will then go on to coach another team to considerable success (see Frazier, Leslie, Fox, John, and a whole other cast of qualified coordinators the Bills FO didn't like) and then we'll complain.
  17. Ray Horton is this year's Leslie Frazier. And many of the "mensa" candidates on this board swore up and down that they wanted nothing to do with Frazier when he was mentioned as a possible coach before Chan was hired. Good call there folks...not like he made the Vikings respectable or anything. He figured out one thing Chan couldn't. When you have a dynamic, game-changing RB, YOU GIVE HIM THE BALL.
  18. I guess we should ban all links to The Great Dictator too right? Sweet jeebus, this is a parody of an ACTOR playing Hitler. No one is glamorizing Hitler here... I can't stand overtly PC BS.
  19. 1st and 20, call the wildcat. Bobo, Chan is a great HC!
  20. Anyone keeping track? 1) SJ "fumble" - questionable possession 2) SJ "incomplete" - clearly a catch and breaking of the plane 3) Tannehill "fumble" - not even reviewed 4) Dickerson fumble - no possession 5) Tannehill "lateral" - it's a forward pass that went backwards! WTF. Ok, try and tell me that it isn't against us.
