  1. Since he's coming in as owner this early in the season, I believe this will be "their year" to impress him. If they continue down the path of the last two games, no chance Pegula brings them back. Remember, his wife Kim is a HUGE fan of the Bills, which means she's been watching the same crap we have for the last 14 years. You don't think she's itching to fix things for the better?
  2. And I'm now done with EJ...
  3. I am starting to lose faith in EJ. He's not showing enough progress from last week to this week. His accuracy isn't good and he can't seem to throw a nice, tight ball into a window. Regardless,he'll get the year but this could be the beginning of the end.
  4. Well...we're winning.
  5. Watkins head is somewhere else. He's awful.today.
  6. Ladies and gents....this is how you look silly on a message board. Geno Smith......BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  7. I just like saying his name. Blake Bortles. If he was drafted here, he'd be Buffalo Bill Blake Bortles.
  8. EJ was bad today. It was the first we've seen him play to his pre-season form. Let's see how he bounces back next week. That will be very telling. Another negative...I'm not a fan of Hackett. The play-calling after three weeks is still far too conservative for me. We need to see what we have in EJ and that means making him make throws he's not comfortable making. If he can't handle the offense, he's not the QB for this team.
  9. I wish Chan Gailey was our OC. No one could mask a QB's inefficiences better than him. He'd be much better for EJ than Hackett is with his ultra conservative playcalling.
  10. I want to really enjoy this season, I really do. But yes, 2008 and 2011 still stick in my craw. In 2008, I was convinced that Trent Edwards was the answer at QB. He seemed smart, poised with the football and a cerebral QB in the vein of Tom Brady. Then Arizona happened and I really think it wasn't the hit itself, but Trent's fear of getting hit again, that ruined him. When he made comments about how there was more to his life than football and he "wasn't a fan of the Bills" I knew he was done. 2011 was definitely tempered by 2008. Not only that, I never believed in Fitzpatrick as a quality starting QB. He was making plays but it just seemed "lucky". Not only that, the team had paper thin depth. By the end of the season, most of our receiving corps were street free agents. That year was just a punch to the gut of being a Bills fan. Ironically, I get to watch Brian Brohm now play his first game as starter for my Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL. Irony... Going to this year, we've got two wins where I thought we'd have two losses. It's been fun but EJ is still a young, learning QB and he's going to still have his growing pains as a QB. There are going to be games where we're going to need him to throw 30+ passes and we'll see how he does in those situations. I love our defense though. Their "Janet, Ms. Jackson if you're nasty" nasty!
  11. What's hilarious is that he's trying to pass his "eye test" and "40+ years of watching football" as reasonable arguments to why EJ is performing terribly according to him. Those who have stated their dislike of EJ use the same platitudes over and over again..."can't complete passes past 10 yards, locks in on receivers, looks skittish". The minute you see that in their post, without ANY factual evidence to back it up, shows you how little they actually know about football. All they are doing is trying to set themselves up so that when EJ does have a bad game (and it is inevitable as he's played a total of TWELVE games and is a second-year player), they can say "SEE! Told ya so!" so they can get their make-believe internet award for being right. Frankly, it's pathetic and sad they can't see themselves for what they are.
  12. You insult him by demanding facts! HOW DARE YOU!
  13. You know what the best part of Pegula buying the team? Now, when I watch some of great young talent play well, like Sammy, or Seantrel or others, I'm not watching them going: "I hope we can keep them when they hit Free Agency". I feel like the days of us being a feeder team to the rest of the league are over.
  14. You have about the suitable football acumen of a Jaguars fan, please cheer for them.
  15. Well, I was waiting for you! Jeez...
  16. You know who also had his career sheltered like that at the beginning of his career? Tom Brady.
  17. I guarantee if there was a video of a 212 pound man beating a screaming 4 year old with a stick repeatedly, people wouldn't be defending this idiot.
  18. I come from an old school family who's momma and poppa used to deal out the "whoopin's" with a wooden spoon. Never, EVER, on my parents' worst day did they ever leave marks like this. This is a textbook case of child abuse. There's disciplining your child and beating your kid into the hospital. AP is done.
  19. Get some of that sweet, sweet Pegula money.
  20. Best week ever? Best. Week. EVER.
  21. He also has a ridiculous slap shot. The Sabres should look at him.
  22. And Eric Wood is right. Let that be a lesson to all you gay athletes! If you come out, ESPN will make sure you never play a down of professional football!
  23. Eric Wood tried to kill Aaron Maybin. This argument is invalid.
  24. The "no kissing" must be a new policy change...
