  1. I used to drive around Lake Ontario to and from college at St Lawrence U… Watertown, and those towns… just crazy, stupid snow.
  2. At the risk of mentioning his name, Tom Brady is going to the HOF in large part due to an effective ball-control passing scheme led by slot guys like Wes Welker and Julian Edelman. Aside from Randy Moss, he never had big name WRs. I pray we take a page from that book, especially as the weather gets worse.
  3. Damn near impossible, IMHO.
  4. As a guy who raised and coached two boys in multiple sports growing up, it's like watching your kids play sports. You focus on their successes and failures very emotionally and non-objectively. We're emotionally invested in every play. If you watched other teams with the same kind of emotional investment, you'd see their same imperfections too. We all deal with our BBFS in different ways. Personally, after following this team for 50 years, I've learned to lower my expectations on things I can't control. It's helped my post-loss recovery time go from weeks to days to hours!
  5. I didn't hate the shot they took to Knox. It was underthrown. That said, I wouldn't base our ability to hang with the Chiefs or Dolphins on two series of offense. IIRC, Dorsey called the plays against the Chiefs when they won back in October. And he called the plays against the Dolphins back in September (which I attended). If you remember your history, the Bills lost, 21-19, despite running 90 plays to 39 for Miami, earning 497 yards to 212, gaining 31 first downs to 15 and generating a 40:40 time of possession to 19:20. It's the highest time of possession in a non-OT loss since 2014. So can they hang with them? I think maybe.
  6. If Josh leads Knox a little more on that pass... If Cook doesn't miss the block on the screen to Diggs... you'd have been high-fiving your dog. It's OK, you can admit. Even Josh said they need to do a better job finishing. I'll admit that I'm concerned with our ability to run the ball when we need to (except for Josh...)
  7. You're drunk too. Is it possible the result of those two drives was execution, not play calling? By advocating that they can the guy right now, your credibility is crap. Big picture...
  8. We're 10-3. Are you drunk?
  9. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. ...
  10. Billsy has never left my lexicon, and I've used it several times about Sunday.
  11. It's a hard job for tough people.
  12. Probably already mentioned somewhere in the zillion posts since the game, but we need to remember that the Bucs lost three games in November the year they won the Super Bowl. The Rams lost 3 last November and won it all.
  13. They aren't mutually exclusive.
  14. Well, that's certainly a creative take this morning.
  15. Who is out there that you'd love to bring in instead?
  16. Binge-watch Gilligan’s Island and Hogan’s Heroes re-runs.
  17. Commit to more short pass, ball control offense. They really miss Beasley in this regard. Hopefully Hines can provide an option here.
  18. Skip the game balls this week
  19. Can we try some of those James Cook 5-8 yard runs from the first half please?
  20. Sure would be nice if we could return the favor and run it down their throats for a while.
  21. Aside from all the historical disappointments already mentioned, pessimism always *sounds* smarter than optimism because optimism sounds like a sales pitch while pessimism sounds like someone trying to help you.
