Sure. Not sure what "by definition" you are talking about, but in terms of scouting I'm sure I know next to nothing about them. I enjoy watching the Bills. Ask me to deconstruct a pass play to see if a route was run properly, and I'd probably give you a blank stare. Not to mention the invalid comparison, which is a debating trick. Comparing knowing about the Bills to hundreds and hundreds of college players probably isn't an apples to apples deal. Sorry if I insulted anyone, but I stand by my belief that most fans know next to nothing about scouting players, and are unable to do so. Most of the opinions they form about the draft are regurgitations.

How much coaches film do you watch? My guess is you don't have access to it. And my guess is that while people like to think they have a clue, they probably don't. Don't get me wrong, hobbies are good, but it's only a hobby, and people have day jobs so it is a part time hobby.

I suppose, but some crappy video on Youtube doesn't give you the same exposure scouts get. And I really don't think fans really know the difference between a guy with a good "first step" vs. a guy with a very good "first step". Fans are fooling themselves if they think they know how to evaluate players and actually know a damn thing they are looking at. A fun hobby, I suppose, but I can think of many more productive and enjoyable things to do with my time. But that's just me.

Love it. That is exactly why I ignore the draft until draft day. Fans who think they have enough knowledge to even have an opinion are hilarious. Pretty much everything a draft fan says is a regurgitation of some draft "guru's" opinion.

I hate Tom Brady, but he's right. I've stayed in a number of Buffalo hotels, and there's really nothing special there. Everything is run down, ugly, and old. The Adam's mark, which is supposedly nice, is barely a 3 star hotel. I'd say 2 1/2. The nicest hotel in the area that I've stayed in is the Roycroft Inn, and while that is cool and historic, it isn't anything close to luxury. I actually can't think of a true "luxury" hotel in Buffalo. I hate to agree with the bastard, but Buffalo hotels in general suck.

I get Toridol for kidney stones when in the ER. It is amazing, however it doesn't kill *all* pain, and it works best when combined with morphine or dilauded. But it is still an amazing medication when taken alone. That's my own personal experience. So yes, it is probably bad for you, but what you see on the field would be totally different without it. Another thing to consider is that the only other medication I'm aware of are opiates, and since those are addictive you have to consider what is worse - toridol or vicodin. Players are going to use SOMETHING for their pain.

No. I had a pretty tough 2011 as well (nobody here really knows about it), but I took the tact of enjoying the good games, enjoying the good plays, and letting whatever else happened not get me down. The good plays and good games did wonders for me. The key is being able to let the other stuff roll off your back. As a matter of fact, the Bills made my fall bearable, even when they were losing.

This. And he was completely juked out of his jock on the Sproles touchdown play. It was hilarious. He looked like a 50 year old man trying to make that tackle. Whitner is not good. I'm glad he's not a Bills based on his average play. Add his whiny Bills-bashing to that, and I actively root against him. He's a chode-licking little beeotch.

No. Why would you trade a known quantity that performs at a high level for an unknown quantity? Not only that, very few draft picks contribute immediately, so we would be decreasing quality of product for 2012. Fred J accounted for the majority of our offense last year. Why would be so stupid as to get rid of that on a shiny new toy that may not really work? It doesn't make sense. On top of that, it is stupid. For all the bitching that people do about Buffalo getting rid of good players, I'm surprised this would be suggested and agreed with. We do want to win next year, right?

I know patience seems to be an evil word around here, but as difficult as it is, sometimes we need a bit of it. Spiller is the perfect example.
