  1. Really? 4 feet of snow? Almost a full year of snow in one day? Are you kidding me? I don't care who you are, nobody is prepared for that. They set a snow record for the entire country.
  2. "What do you want from me? My daughter's tuition is expensive!"
  3. No RB will help us with our offensive line that isn't worth a shizzle.
  4. Oh great, another call for a QB who has proven nothing. Can we combine the Manziel and Tebow threads into one big thread of stupidity?
  5. Shut the F___ up, Donny! - Walter Sobchak, The Big Lebowski
  6. The problem with Tebow is he can't make an NFL roster, and the other problem is that he sucks.
  7. Some people mistake yelling and screaming for good coaching. Thus the calls for moron Gruden.
  8. I can't disagree with you, but the calls are inconsistent from play to play, game to game, and team to team. One team gets calls like that on a drive, and KC doesn't on the next.
  9. There's actually 4 big lies, "Yes, you are the biggest I've ever had!"
  10. Looks to me like the coaching is lacking. They are missing on basic stuff ... stuff that should have been covered in training camp. Or college football.
  11. Or how about the Hughes trade? Saw a player not producing, identified a better fit, and made the trade. The FO has totally mismanaged the o-line and QB situations, but done very, very well in other areas. Let's not forget that. Sheesh.
  12. There's a ton of data, but in what format? Film? that's not data digestible by an analytics system. That's EXACTLY what I mean by taking years to have it in a format you can actually aggregate and measure it. Film is dark data. It is data that exists, but you really can't do a damn thing with it until it is put in a cube or tabular data store so you can analyze it.
  13. I'm not sure someone says "analytics" and all of the sudden you have all of the info. The very first step in analytics is deciding what you want to measure. Secondly, you have to capture the data you want to measure. Depending on how you do it, it could be YEARS before you have data that can point you in the right direction. The whole thing about all of the sudden having "analytics" and being able to draw conclusions from it is just asinine. I know that not everyone knows much about the technology and how it works, but please use your heads.
  14. I care. I'd love a new stadium if it was downtown or closer to Rochester. What people don't realize is that even though there are a ton of fans from Rochester, people are being alienated because, frankly, the two hour drive there and 2 1/2 (at least) drive back, including traffic, sucks. It is THE main reason I don't have season tickets, and don't attend too many games. For Rochester folks, we're talking a 4 hour total commute MINIMUM just to see a game. Have an 8 to 10 hour day to see a game is too much with job responsibility, family responsibility, house to take care of, etc. If the stadium was 20 minutes to 1/2 hour closer it would be a different story. And this isn't involving the comfort factor. Frankly, as I get older, it becomes a little more important. I've spent plenty of time freezing my a$$ off over the years. Paid my dues. Watched games in the rain, snow, cold, wind, etc. I've been hit by cups of beer, snowballs, and been accosted by fans of both the opposing team and Bills fans. I've been vomited upon, because morons drink too much. That's fine, but to sit in traffic and drive 3 hours home after all that is a bit much, especially after paying for the privilege. So a new stadium with a retractable roof that is a little closer to (my) home is a damn good idea in my book. I'd pay an extra $10 a ticket for it at least.
  15. It isn't his ankle. He probably just has sand in his v.
  16. Ah, the continental! My band played there in the early 90s. We drove from Rochester to play just because it was a cool thing to do.
  17. This. Ralph did buffalo a major solid by making it very difficult for someone to move the team, then by donating the proceeds of the sale to his foundation. That is so cool it brings a tear. I never want to hear a disparaging word about Ralph ever again.
  18. I LOVE that Orton answer. Whoever asked it knew they were being a d-bag.
  19. Letting him go was a good move by Whaley.
  20. Whaley has brought some really great talent to the team. The team is arguably the most talented since the late 90s. But he has completely mismanaged the QB position at every level possible. That is a fireable offense, and overshadows all the good he has done.
  21. He also missed some ridiculous passes. Ej lost the game today.
  22. He's had 14 games. He should be playing better than that by now. The guy can't hit an open WR. Throws behind them all the time, overthrows long balls, and when finally someone is so wide open even I could hit it, the WR needs to slow down. I was all for being patient for a while, but he's awful. This team is too talented to have a crappy QB ruin things for them. He needs to sit and watch someone else play QB. If EJ is going to be a good QB, he's going to need an epiphany to get there.
