  1. Yes, she does. She doesn't have that "caked-on layers of smeared makeup" look. Pelosi, on the other hand...
  2. That's the most hilarious thing @Tiberius has heard since September of 2012.
  3. I'm still waiting to hear how the Iranians wouldn't have shot down that 737 if Trump hadn't pulled us out of the (non--binding, unratified) Paris Accords. And the reptoids. Don't forget the reptoids. And the pedophiles. And child sex traffickers. Goddamn child sex trafficking pedophile reptoids.
  4. i still remember in 1985, when Iran was "five years away" from having a nuclear bomb.
  5. Like my grandmother, who lived to 98 on a diet of jelly beans and Bailey's Irish Cream. When she was 95, she went to the doctor for a check-up, and asked him if she should be worried about her cholesterol. He laughed at her, and told her she could start smoking for all it mattered at her age.
  6. Ok Boomer, but we're talking about the Greatest Generation.
  7. Puts me in mind of that classic observation from the great late 20th century philosopher Berkeley Breathed: "Of course, Gookman wouldn't know a pink snow bunny if it walked up and bit him in the ass."
  8. We're not talking about Canucks and Limeys. We're talking about the "Greatest Generation" that bailed you out.
  9. If they're radar guided (which the SA-15 is, yes), and if you have something looking that way.
  10. The Senate doesn't have to accept the "House managers," by the way. There's no constitutional, legal, or procedural requirement for such.
  11. Then you missed the entire point of the "100% accurate" post.
  12. It was more because volunteers could specify what service, and what specialty, they could go in to, which by 1943 was creating an unmanageable imbalance in manpower allocation. Not everyone could join the Marines. Drafting allowed a more efficient allocation of personnel.
  13. But it's a fraction of the number that died in the World Trade Center building collapse
  14. Don't worry about it. Soon enough, they'll all jump back on the Giants bandwagon where they belong.
  15. Important point here... One of the easiest ways to tell you're being conned is artificial precision. People are more likely to believe precise statements than vague ones, so when lying, be precise. Conversely, if someone's being precise to you, question it, particularly if it's a future prediction or a statistical statement. That was really the point of this joke. When you see artificial precision, suspect nonsense.
  16. Yes, they are overrated. The "Greatest Generation" is mostly a fairy tale created by Tom Brokaw, Stephen Ambrose, and Tom Hanks. In truth, they weren't appreciably better or worse than generations past or since, except millennials (who are pussies.)
  17. "200 people weren't arrested for starting fires. Only 124 were. Therefore, global warming." Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
