  1. Because when Congress doesn't have it by Tuesday, Nadler, Schiff, et al. will shift to "They're covering up the report, which is obstruction of justice! And we told them we wanted it Tuesday, which means they're breaking the law!" They need to keep the outrage going; if they wait to see what's in the report, the outrage will lose steam.
  2. Shared racial guilt. All white men are equally guilty of all hate crimes.
  3. You know who was never traumatized by telling a powerful man to knock it off? Angela Merkel. Maybe the problem is American women don't know how to stand up for themselves.
  4. More weirdly...the federal government is suing CA for violating CA law? That's really not a federal issue.
  5. Yeah, that's a cheeseburger for lunch.
  6. That was kind of the point.
  7. So you can't provide evidence, you can provide web searches. You're a ***** sock puppet.
  8. I sure called that one.
  9. You might want to stop that, too. Live hookers are more hygienic, slightly.
  10. That page is wrong. It even says "achieved very little," and is still a ridiculous exaggeration. There was exactly one event - the assassination of the mayor of Aachen - that could even tenuously be connected to Werwolf, but even that was more likely a Gestapo action (since most of those involved were Gestapo). Werewolves were a fiction. A propaganda exercise. There was no partisan action in the western zone after the surrender, and very little in the eastern zone (and that anti-communist rather than pro-Nazi.) Really, I've got a book shelf on the subject, and you're thinking "Here's a half-assed web site I found. This'll show him!" You idiot.
  11. I'm saying this for your own good: STOP IT.
  12. Rolling Stone is still trying to get over there not being a rape culture at UVa.
  13. Yes, the old question of individual freedom vs. public good. And I come down on the public good in this case, for the simple reason that vaccination is a non-exclusive use service that we all benefit equally from: everyone derives the same benefit from preventing epidemics of "not getting sick." Furthermore, measles has only one natural host: people. There is no reservoir host. If you eliminate it in people, it is gone, permanently. It's one of the few diseases, like smallpox or polio, that we can actually make completely extinct through the simple, inexpensive practice of vaccination. So yeah, I'm fine with requiring, even compelling, vaccination. Because...well, let me put it this way: no one's been compelled to get a smallpox innoculation in 40 years.
  14. They check kidney function? They hydrating her with IV fluids? I'm far more savvy with cat health than dogs...but I know enough that a daily CBC isn't nearly enough on its own, and a vast majority of the time high sodium is caused by dehydration. So they better be giving her ringer's lactate.
  15. "Kids, stay in school, or you could end up like this."
  16. As someone with environmental issues, I am keenly aware of the irreversable devastation wrought on the Everglades by the Burmese Python. As your president, I promise release Burmese Pythons into Washington DC. DC Tom 2020: Swallow the Swamp Whole.
  17. Because he really promoted the advancement of colored people... ...or wait...is that racist? Bizarre world we're living in.
  18. He wasn't even officially hired yet. He basically did to the Pats what Belichick did to the Jets.
