  1. I just saw it. It was as you described it, except it seemed just a little wobbly.
  2. Saved their asses in more ways than one. He rescued that team from obscurity.
  3. You registered to post this and your other two little sentences of misery? Who sucks again?
  4. I agree with your first paragraph and to your second, I'd say "yes." But why not just let him go? I liked it when the Bills gave Fewell the reins and tested him out. As for Turner, any team that hires him as a head coach is foolish.
  5. It's as though certain plaintiffs' attorneys see players as unwilling participants, etc.
  6. Orton ~ Fitz. It's the same stuff.
  7. This is a good suggestion as long as we can allow for form tackling on the ball-carrier. You know, shoulder into the chest/gut with arms wrapping up.
  8. Sorry; didn't mean to duplicate...
  9. On how many posters? I'll go with 12.
  10. At this point, I actually wouldn't have a problem with Wannstedt returning. Needs a LB here or there, and needs to commit to the blitz once in a while (but he has done that, recently). The defense has improved while the offense has regressed. With the exception of LB, this looks like the team I thought we had going in. Solid defense (again with the exception of LB), great running, good receivers and O-line, and a below-average QB.
  11. That was brutal. The guy was almost a Bill, too.
  12. Out of the potential first/second rounders in this year's draft, which isn't saying much, I like Wilson the best.
  13. Yep. Not a very good pro football player, and not a very good person. He's young enough that he might be able to fix the second part, but I doubt that he fixes the first. It was a gamble, at an appropriate spot in the draft, that didn't pay off.
  14. I didn't quite get where that remark was going, either.
  15. Talking Heads '77.
  16. And in years past, the complaint was that GR never got the interviews because it wasn't the flagship. And so it goes.
  17. Divide 107 by 14. That's 7.6. That was CJ's average. 6 more runs is 45 more yards. But it was smarter to try crappy passes in the fourth, I guess. And a very clever punt, too.
  18. But 4th and 8 at midfield is unthinkable, especially with a 4-6 record on the line.
  19. 6 more carries would have been a game-tying drive.
  20. Calgary Galieyed it on third and three and was rewarded with a Toronto touchdown.
