  1. Hard to build a team when you have a different head coach and system to build for every 2 years. Like or hate Whaley, ignoring the fact that he wasn't allowed to pick his own coach and had 3 different coaches in his short time here is just wrong.
  2. The beauty of it is, he can be right no matter what happens. If the Browns do the smart and only logical thing, he'll say the front office won. If they do the traditional "Brownsy" thing and reach for a QB, he can say he told ya so. No real downside here.
  3. Arguing about who is in better position between these two horrid and snake bit franchises is futile. Unlike a lot of people it seems, I do like what the Browns are doing. I like their coach hire, I like their strategy of breaking everything down and stocking draft picks, and I like the kind of moves they're making (like the Osweiler trade which got them ANOTHER high pick for money they had to spend anyway). Everything these teams are doing is up for debate and given their history, will probably end up failing. But for now, I think the Browns are definitely on a positive path for once. And honestly, I think the Bills are too as long as they try to settle down a bit now and let everyone have some time to grow up together.
  4. Because of government influence that makes it easier and easier to get loans. Kids can get more and more money to pay for college, so colleges charge more. But hey, let's make it easier still.
  5. One more reason I can't see myself ever moving back to NYS, despite a great desire to be closer to my family.
  6. The possibility of getting bumped or delayed is part of air travel. It sucks, and the airlines should compensate, but this whole "he had a paid ticket" is a pointless argument. Instead of being a man and handling it like an adult he acted like a 5 year old child. A lot of people are saying they'll never fly United again after this. Personally, if this was my doctor, I'd be canceling my appointments.
  7. Can't believe a grown man would scream and act like that for being told to get off a flight.
  8. We have to ignore that part because it doesn't fit the TV drama conspiracies that everyone assumes exists in our front office. It makes even more sense when you add in the fact that the Buffalo media like to dissect every single word to find the smallest possible difference in what everyone's saying so that they can "call them out", cause you know, the fans have "the right to know the truth." If I was the Bills front office I would take the Lynch approach and meet the NFL requirements to an absolute minimum.
  9. Sooner or later it's going to happen with one of these prank things; and I hope they air it.
  10. Guess it depends on your definition of stupid cliffhanger. I don't think there's any doubt at this point that the Savior storyline is going into next season, so there's going to be a cliffhanger of some kind.
  11. I think it's just getting to be too repetitive, and the writing and pointless cliff hangers are getting on people's nerves. Last season pissed a lot of people off, but they're still curious to see how the whole thing turns out. Once that's done, I think people won't be so forgiving. Personally, I'll keep watching. It's the only live show I watch and the only thing my wife and I watch together, so we'll keep it up.
  12. It almost has to be what they're doing. Something will probably happen (someone will probably die), but I don't see how they're going to get from where they are now to actually starting the battle in two episodes. Still way too much to happen at the Hilltop, dump, and riverside (or whatever that was called). I have a feeling that once the Saviors are handled, this show is going to start losing a lot of audience.
  13. I've seen one in action and it works pretty well. The guy who had them had four. Two active at any time, the other two he transferred them to so he clean out the others. Can't say I know too much about them, but they sure seemed pretty sweet (pun intended)
  14. Flow Hive.
  15. You identify with Eugene, don't you? I honestly think they've just decided to say screw any kind of realism at relates to fuel. As someone else said, if they cut out vehicles the show wouldn't be able to keep going.
  16. Online auctions spike at the end.
  17. Seems recurrent because the media don't know what else to say. No decision on Tryod yet? Must be a disagreement between the coaches and front office!!!! Source? "Anonymous"
  18. So this really means that the media have no idea and keep throwing crap against a wall that doesn't stick. How frustrating that must be for them.
  19. Yep, stupid business mistake. Every one of those people who signed up there gave them an email address of someone who is obviously interested in their product. Now they have to resort to putting out posts on FB that reach less than 5% of their audience.
  20. I disagree. The releases shouldn't really be considered big events anymore, but I enjoy the movies.
  21. I end up watching that movie every couple years or so and I like it more every time I see it. Hated the first time. While I don't think it's really in line with the idea of the thread, I recently watched The Imitation Game and thought it was really good, so I'll throw that out.
  22. I blamed the defensive plan that had them playing prevent for a quarter and a half coming out of halftime. Idiots.
  23. There's always going to be injuries. Woods is a mediocre WR, good enough to fill in #2, but NOT good enough to be the prime target. I don't think we'll see much upgrade at the position. If Woods goes we'll likely see someone right about his talent level as a replacement. If he stays, I doubt they spend much to get another, better WR in. Whether that's enough depends on the QB. Tryod isn't good enough to make his WRs better than they are. He needs the talent.
