  1. What a memory! Still remember hanging with my Bills Backers buds in Atlanta and watching the amazing comeback. Had to be 200+ at the bar for the game and only ten or so of us stuck it out until the end. Still have the recording of us being interviewed on the local news...not a pretty site, but we were sure happy campers!!!
  2. Who dey? Count me in as a Bills fan rooting for the Bengals in the playoffs. Welcome to Bills Country.
  3. We had an awesome Christmas party today and didn't see one snap. Love the Bills, but have watched two games in three years. Sad situation. But, as I've said since Jim Kelly retired, "There's always next year"!
  4. I would take Rivers in a heartbeat. Turning 31 and a top notch QB who could lead the young offense. Drafting an unproven QB for 2-3 years down the road also makes sense, but to win in the near future he's a great option. Plus, I love his "Jim Kelly" mentality. He'd be a WNY kinda guy.
  5. Here in North Carolina, other than for President, you can select one button and vote straight party line. Is that option available in your state? I really disagree with that option as in some cases, good people in both parties are voted out.
  6. I once sold a car at a garage sale...so you never know. Do like Craigslist alot...especially for buying and selling tickets.
  7. So many drunks and idiots at NFL games now, I prefer to watch at home or a local watering hole. There seems to be a mentality now that sporting events are an invitation to get wasted. Here in Raleigh, Sabres fans tend to drink more than others and the locals are not accustomed to that behavior at the hockey games. I do remember in my 20's going to Bills games with buddies and having fun "a few beers" so I guess I'm guilty too. Did get pissed on at the "Ronnie Harmon" game in Cleveland going up for a beer at halftime near the Dogpound. Go Bills!!!!!!!
  8. Tonight one of my best friends in Atlanta will be throwing out the first pitch at the Braves game. John Conley was diagnosed three years ago with ALS and last October was the first ALS patient still walking to have fetal stem cells (250K) into his spinal cord. The treatment seems to have helped John in his journey, but the research will definately help others down the road. Saw him last weekend and while his condition is worsening, he is doing well and is a wonderful ambassador to all those with Lou Gerhig's disease. Wish I could be there. If any of my old Atlanta Bills buddies are at the game, give John a loud cheer. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers along with the others battling this horrible disease. While John is left handed, he doesn't have the ability anymore to lift the arm enough to throw, he will use his right arm & promise to throw Brian McCann a split finger fastball!
  9. Ahhh....Thomas Dolby. Thanks for the youtube links. Brings back some great memories of dance clubs in Atlanta. Science!!!
  10. I watch a number of Rangers games & think their announcers and great. Their TV production team does a heck of a job as well.
  11. Watching hoops last night & Whitney's drug problem and drowning came up. Someone questioned, "How can Keith Richards still be alive?" The reply, "He doesn't take baths!"
  12. Anyone attend the concert last night? Looking for reviews...saw a post where Brian Culbertson said there was a great crowd in Buffalo. Seen his performances before...always great, but this time no band...only two pianos.
  13. Would sure love to see Mario in a Bills uniform. Go Wolfpack!
  14. Any team that sweeps Niagara deserves to go to the dance!
  15. I would like to see a change as well. Just doesn't seem right for a team that wins in regulation and a team to win in a skills competition to both get 2 points. The shootout is popular, so I'd keep it, but give a team more incentive to win the regulation or overtime.
  16. Who cares about the Combine? Now here is some first round talent!
