  1. Some UB students did some big study on how the NFL scheduling system can be unfair and used the Bills from a couple years ago as an example. It was pretty in depth from what I remember. I'm sure the almighty NFL doesn't like any of their procedures questioned.
  2. Agreed. That's BS if it's true. Probably "punishment" from the NFL for the little UB schedule study.
  3. That's ****ty
  4. I was at packys for the Miami game this past fall! Cool spot. Great group and awesomely planned event. Too bad we got stuck in traffic on the way to the game!
  5. I've been towed before too and was damn pissed off. I'm sure I gave the attendant attitude and was not pleasant. I didn't berate their intelligence, physical appearance, etc. I understand her being pissed and even degrading the "occupation" of towing cars to an extent, but she showed her true colors and went with the "I'm better than you cuz I'm on TV card". For that alone I hope she gets canned.
  6. What a B word. Hate people like her. Hope she gets canned and then has to find something else to do with her "communications" degree or whatever.
  7. Apologize if this has already been mentioned but per cbs sports http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25149064/report-2015-nfl-schedule-will-be-released-on-april-23
  8. I did Miami last year and I'm now 0-3 there, so going to try something different. My "group" has been doing a big away game trip for the last few years and Nashville is at the top of our list this year. I spend about 3 weeks a year there for work and it's an awesome city. Cheap flights and or relatively easy drive from Cbus. It has that New Orleans type feel in that you can just walk all over to the bars and also the stadium from the main downtown area. If for some reason it falls on a bad weekend I could see us doing KC or Skins.
  9. Yeah that sucked...
  10. I've had this internal debate many times over in my head. My dad and I have an unofficial pact to go. I think I would want to be in the host city for the game even if I didn't have a ticket, and take part in the partying the days leading up to the game. Especially if it was a New Orleans, Miami, Cali- type venue. Then if they won, would immediately hop a plane to buffalo for the best party God ever created. If they lost though, man that would be rough....
  11. Yes the Bills have perennially led the league in giving out guaranteed $, keeping core players, and making blockbuster trades for established superstars. Nothing to see here people, move on. Same old BS, so done with this team!!!!!
  12. Fun being not being relegated to the "kids table" anymore isn't it?
  13. My wife's jeep grand cherokee has air conditioned front seats! Pretty cool feature!
  14. I don't think that's what he asked for. Came with a legitimate question no need to bring this to the table.
  15. The orange Jarritos and an authentic Mexican place are a match made in heaven. Got intruduced a number of years ago while working around Chicago.
  16. Passenger trains are shockingly quiet. Amtrak can run 79 mph in some areas and if on a stretch with no road crossings, no train horn. In most cases, yes it's someone being a dumbass but you don't necessarily have to be passed out drunk for it to happen. I'd say headphones are a big factor if not under the influence.
  17. This makes me sad. As an out of town season ticket holder I would potentially attend less games if that was the case. I don't want a hockey game atmosphere, I want tailgating. I want to bring my own beer and cook my own food an potentially stay over in my RV if I choose. I understand the NFL is changing and if that's going to be the price of keeping the Bills in town, so be it. I just hope the Pegulas come up with some kind of "best of both worlds" type scenario.
  18. I've always kinda wrestled with that thought too. Sure it would be absolutely amazing to be there in person, but being in buffalo would be the best. If I did ever have the chance to see the Bills live in a Super Bowl I'd have it set up where heading to buffalo the day after was part of the plan.
  19. Mularkey did get another crack. Jags hired him as HC a few years ago. He still sucked though and got canned after a year I think. Haha
  20. Dammit...have lived in Cbus since 2006 and by a fluke ended up in WNY tonight because I have to be in Mass. tomorrow for some work stuff. Am now pretty disappointed I'm not out on high st right now! Oh well Bucks got it done! The Urban factor can't be overstated. OH!!!!
  21. Very well said, sums up how I feel about to a T. Although like someone said earlier, when he eventually toned it down a bit I started to like him more on air. He really seemed like a good guy though and obviously was very devoted to his family. Very sad news. RIP Stu. Very well said, sums up how I feel about to a T. 22. It's almost like Ralph is working from the grave. No way we get so lucky that we actually cut a loser coach that underachieved with an awesome roster
