  1. I’ve looked at both of those spots. We did Moorea & Bora Bora for our honeymoon and have always wanted to go back to the South Pacific. Had originally planned to do our 10 year at Huahine, Rangiroa & Bora Bora. Too many life obstacles going on to make it happen at the time but whenever we do go back that way (God willing), I think we’ll probably do that and also tack on the Cooks as well. Hell, if you’re already in the neighborhood why not!?
  2. That’s for sure. Very well organized & executed from start to finish. Pretty impressive considering the amount of participants. We’ve done the January 1/2 twice and then switched to the wine & dine and have done that 6 times. Always enjoy doing the race, relaxing for a bit then drinking around the world! We were supposed to do Aruba for the first time in April. Was really looking forward to it. “Supposed” to drive down to Hilton head for a partial week before Labor Day but not sure if that will happen or not.
  3. I think I’ve heard we’re the hottest market in the country
  4. Congrats on the recovery! That’s a long time to be off the ice. We were shut down till mid June I think and didn’t realize how much I missed it! We lost a close on in first round of playoffs last session. I think we start fall session late August. Good luck out there
  5. Well at least you don’t have to run a full ?! Tons of respect for those that do that. 1/2 is about my max but I have said I’d like to do the Jan full once just to say I did it!
  6. SXM used to be our Caribbean spot but last time were there was pre Irma in 2015. It’s been pretty messed up since and Corona is just destroying any progress that was made. We’ll miss our annual fall Disney trip for the food & wine 1/2 marathon. If we’re not able to travel this winter for some ski trips that will really hurt too. Supposed to go to Montana in early Jan with our friends and all the kids to their ski condo.
  7. Wow not what I was expecting to see after just seeing the title. Very commendable.
  8. Yep “Season Ticket Members that apply money as an account credit will have exclusive access to 2020 single game ticket sales for available seats if spectators are permitted. We will have multiple single game ticket sales throughout the season as capacity is determined. In any limited spectator scenario, seating capacity in the stadium will be reduced, seat locations may change each game, and all members may not be able to purchase tickets for every game they want to attend. Additional ticket purchase limits and other restrictions will apply and be communicated before any ticket sales.“
  9. If you let the Bills keep your $ already paid, you’ll have “first crack” at some ticket if they allow some fans at some point. Not your seat, but just a seat somewhere in the stadium.
  10. I think I’m gonna go with the account credit. I’m 3/4 paid up anyways, I’m luckily not in dire need of the funds elsewhere and I’d kick myself all the way down the road If by some miracle we were playing a home playoff game this year with some fans in the stands and I wasn’t one of them. Plus, when next year rolls around I’ll be almost fully paid up and it will be like finding a bunch of money in the couch!
  11. Get out of here with this sense making. Who the hell took my pitchfork!? Rabble!!!!
  12. Well I guess I’m in trouble then. Good thing we have people around here to help us alcoholics from further ruining our lives.
  13. The vulnerable protect themselves by not putting themselves in high risk situations. A grocery store where everyone is wearing masks, practicing social distancing and disinfecting the shared surfaces doesn’t scream high risk to me. But yup, let’s go ahead and shut everything down and live in a fake bubble for an undetermined amount of time again. Forget the people who lost jobs, they don’t matter.
  14. I vote for open then, since people need to eat. Until I see a dramatic shift in the demographics of the people having the worst outcomes, I’m of the opinion that the vulnerable should protect themselves and the rest of us should do our part to help them. “Locking down“ em masse again is going to cause more collateral damage than the virus itself.
  15. It may be good, but I can’t get past the liquid smoke.
  16. I think Daboll has to be better too. But in his defense and I guess one thing I kinda like, is that they seem to be going for the more long term development approach with JA (which I think is the correct move). They’re not trying to catch some lightning for a year or two with a gimmicky offense like the Ravens are doing. They seem to be throwing a lot at him, letting him sink or swim a bit, then adjusting as necessary. It seems like for the first time in forever, they’re actually trying to build a guy up for a 10+ year career as a legit starter. I can get behind that, even if it doesn’t work out in the long run. Especially with someone like JA who has incredible physical talent but was pretty raw coming out of college.
  17. Fun fact, the MD doesn’t actually stand for MadDog though! We did speed drinking challenges with it when I was pledging. Woof
  18. Since we had to bag Aruba in April and almost certainly will be bagging our Annual fall wine & dine 1/2 marathon at Disney we decided to do 5 nights in Hilton head before Labor Day with just the wife & kiddo. Her aunt lives in Charlotte so convenient stop for a night at least on the way down to break up the drive. When we leave we may drive all the way straight to WNY, looking at a lake house for the holiday weekend with a bunch of friends. Maybe Chautauqua lake. Should be like training camp for the liver before football season.
