  1. Just wait until it's gets tough and the bickering begins ... he's a place holder and he knows it. He'll pack it in and the Phins will go NOWHERE. But at least he'll get some fine Cuban cigars for his troubles.
  2. I'd rather see the ORANGE TRUMP CLOWN getting pissed on by Russian hookers
  3. That was the one coaching hire by McDermott I never understand. Most refer to him as adequate to below par coach at best. Maybe Miller isn't the answer, but Dicasse is a pile of hot garbage and everyone seems to realize it but, McD, Castillo and Beane. And I am starting to feel like this is turning into Gregg Williams - Part 2. Bring in familiar faces, jettison better, talented players and think you know better than most everyone else. quote name="MAJBobby" post="4509648" timestamp="1504462269"] Ducasse has much more going for him. He is boys with Castillo.
  4. Get a 6th and call it a day. He doesn't go to New England for free quote name="MAJBobby" post="4508801" timestamp="1504447125"] Just not for the Bills. But all Moot because Bills hold his rights. Intrigued in playing with NE. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/patriots/2017/09/02/nfl-season-offers-lot-look-forward/DD8QvB6u3Z325l2NLHjr6J/story.html
  5. I prefer Mason Storm. He's bulked up nicely and we could use an extra OG.
  6. Based on what? Their intelligence in picking s franchise QB like Goff? Rams = intelligence and savvy? I don't think so.
  7. Let's leave tRussian-loving Trrump off the board, please. It's bad enough I see his BS all over my twitter feed.
  8. I thought it was going to be about Herb Tarlek
  9. Started as an intern in 1998 and worked his way up. Got to know all facets of operation, especially salary cap (hope adios Overdorf), and pretty savvy from all accounts. Young and hungry.
  10. Fire him, fire him, fire him ... 1000X over! I will admit he has had successes and he was important in keeping team here while Ralph was alive, but in what industry does a management leadership figure lead an organization to 17 years of futility and, not only keep his job, but get promoted. Sorry, we fired the GM and most of the "old guard" scouts, now it is time for the Pegulas to say sayonara to Brandon AND Overdorf.
  11. What would I like to see? Russ Brandon's head on a spike outside the offices at One Bills Drive.
  12. I have two boys, one is only three and I cannot imagine it. There are no words of comfort for this. I just hope he can feel the amount of people keeping him and his family in their thoughts and prayers. And someday, I hope he is able to make peace with what occurred.
  13. Love this topic ... LB is a big concern, so I would understand if they traded down and picked up one later in the first round. I worry about CB and corner depth, but I think help could come from choices as late as Round 4 or Round 5. I hope we stay at #10 and take OJ Howard. Can you imagine the sets they could trot out with him, Clay Watkins, Holmes, Shady out of the backfield? Add in Tolbert as a receiving threat and Philly Brown in the slot and it could be a real nightmare for opposing defenses. I think OJ Howard makes the biggest impact at #10.
  14. I would love to see teams try and matchup with OJ Howard and Clay ... then go WR in 2nd or 3rd but otherwise defense the rest of the way.
  15. To me, It seems like coach Mc Dermott he is trying hard to bring in toigh, character players from organizations that are used to winning. Green bay , Atlanta , Carolina , etc. if you want to change culture that's a good place to start.
  16. If they moved on Siemian, it's to start this year just as he did in Denver. My guess is, they don't see much value in the 2017 draft class of QBs but next year's looks much brighter. Siemian comes in, runs Denison's offense, they are middle of the pack or lower and we draft the future franchise QB NEXT SPRING ... then you have a decent backup with starting experience.
  17. so what if there are? For the life of me, I can't understand why other posters or board mods get their panties in a bunch ... If it's not of interest to anyone, no one will comment. Big deal.
  18. Great post for playing Madden. In the real world, it's not possible. Mike
  19. He was on "ONE TO WATCH" segment on ESPN. May have been Gruden or McShay ... Said he really fights for the ball and they could believe his speed with a sports hernia. Pretty psyched we got him in the 6th
  20. Looking to vent and, perhaps, get feedback from Bills fans, on the current state and future direction of the NFL. First off, I am a HUGE football fan and start to get excited by the mere thought of the upcoming draft, the sweltering heat of training camp at SJF, and the crisp, autumn Sundays with the anticipation they bring. However, the NFL is starting to trouble me as it looks to build these gargantuan palaces for the corporate, jet-setters, extend internationally while seeming to overlook their loyal cities and fan bases, and ignore or work to cover up questionable strategies and approaches to "protect the game" and the incredible flow of revenue. I was very excited when a local, Roger Goodell, was chosen to lead the league into the new century. He has increasingly become an embarrassment, unless you are one of the 32 owners, looking solely at the league coffers. He has business savvy, but the commissioner is morally bankrupt. He should have been fired after the Ray Rice debacle. Every time I see his mug at a press conference and hear him stammer, I am reminded of what a tool he truly is. This is a league that, instead of being proactive, knew it had concussion-related issues and chose to wait, fight it, and let it explode. This is a league that fought "tooth and nail" against its retirees who built the league on their blood, bones, and guile. This is the league that seems to insulate their stars and star franchises until forced to go after them ("Deflategate") and look foolish in the process. I know we'll never get back to the brilliance and simple nature of the game from the 1970s through the 1990s, when the focus still seemed to be on the fan at the stadium ... the ticket buyer ... the jersey wearer. But at least make more of an effort to reach out to your common fans and provide the illusion that we still matter in the grand scheme of things.
  21. Dude ... I'm not comparing Tyrod to any past QB, just saying that two of the Bills best QB's EVER, Jim Kelly and Joe Ferguson, hardly had stellar first years. Ferguson handed off to OJ and thre 10-15 times a game, but as the 70s wore on he became a gunslinger and a terrific QB. Kelly didn't have a breakout year until 1988 when we won our first AFC EAST crown. Taylor had a terrific year considering in training camp it was a three-headed monster and Greg Roman kept the reigns pretty tight. He also lost a huge option like Harvin early in the year and Shady missed a fair amount of games. I'm not sure if he is real or not, but your logic is pretty faulty.
  22. The Bills weren't robbed. They were their own worst enemy in many ways. Thurman ran all other the Giants in the fist half and they stopped feeding him the rock in the second. Defensively, that team was limited and I always felt like they should've bolstered the D-Line during that run. Jeff Wright played beyond his potential but he still was a liability. Additionally, Walt Corey was a mediocre coordinator, at best. How do you have an innovator like Marchibroda on one side and a dud like Corey to coach the defense. Lastly, I love Marv, but a truly great coach has control of his team and gets them to focus on the biggest game of their lives, not the Tampa nightlife.A stronger coach and we win that game going away.
  23. As someone that moved back in 2005, you it's not be anywhere near the city limits. I work in downtown right off of Elmwood and in the last 2-3 the amount of building projects, cranes, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, etc downtown is noticeable everyday. According to CNN, Buffalo is 12th in the nation for construction and infrastructure projects currently underway. The medical corridor, solar city, the amount of historic building being renovated for dual purposes of business and apartments, and the young people choosing to move downtown is all there to see. I'm not sure where you are writing from, but it's clear you haven't been to the Queen City in awhile. Is there work still to do? Absolutely. But Cuomo is delivering on the Buffalo billion, the Pegulas have a strong presence downtown and investors from the area, Across the border and across the country are putting their money here. Are NY taxes higher? Sure. But, so are services. As a parent of a special needs child, there are few states that can match the assistance, educational opportunities, medical care, that NY, and in particular Buffslo, offers. And as for weather, my kids were at the park in January. Do we have some snowstorms? Sure do. But no hurricanes, tornados, or tropical storms that require FEMA assistance on a regular basis. I can snowblower a few times a year, enjoy all four seasons, and some of the best food choices in the nation.
  24. Schwartz is not going to a job without being a HC or taking a lateral move by going in with Marrone again. It isn't happening.
