Back in the early 90's (1991 to be exact), I began my subscription to Shout. I thoroughly enjoyed it for years. Sometime around 1993, I began to frequently receive it after the upcoming highlighted game was already played. Instead of receiving it consistently on a Thursday or Friday, it frequently showed up on Monday. Yet, It was still worth it's cost. By the late 90's I thought the quality had begun to drop. It ws shorter with less articles, yet I perservered. Then the great albino devil came to town and shortly thereafter, the magazine was changed to Bills Digest. Despite the mostly solid articles by Chris Brown, it contained less information than ever before, the draft issues stunk, and frankly it wasn't even worth reading even if it was free. The internet became a better, more timely source of info and when copuled with the considerable decline in the quality of the printed weekly, it died offically last year for me. This my friends, was officially killed by the albino devil in this fans eyes. I believe his paranoid control over information about the Bills sped up this once proud magazine's death. Yeah, I blame him for this loss as well as all the others that have been well written about on this board.

While I agree that Moulds "pouting" at Miami, and his inconsistent support of the Bill's QB's may have warranted distain, I still have to feel for the guy who's already been thru so many QB changes, and now that his career is winding down, understanding his impatience (lack of winning) is not all that difficult. With that said, for him to remain a Bill, he must revert back to the pre-2005 Moulds relative to the QB position, and give his full support and effort to whoever that QB. Zero tolerance for further dissention.

While Tony Greene was a very good ball hawk, Saimes brought the whole package. Sorry, Greene was not a strong tackler. Saimes was very good, if not outstanding at it. For those who aren't aware, Saimes (along with Johnny Robinson) were voted the All-Time best Safeties in the AFL. All-Time AFL Team

Sure, in an uncapped situation, always go for the up-and-comer, but reality says that under a cap, there's only so much dough to go around. Every team has "stop" gap types that added wisely, contribute considerably to the success of many teams. The Pats have been picking up "stop-gap" players for years now and have done quite well with it.

Attorney.... No personal disrespect intended, but there are many in this life that believe it might be a much better world if there weren't quite so many attorneys. Our society is already far too litigious as it is without more "creating" work for themselves. Yes, my personal experiences with attorneys have not been all that wonderful. Yet, good luck with your studies and may you be a positive reflection of your chosen field of practice. If politics is your ultimate goal, then I take this all back.

For anyone who misses the bipolar ICE, he's alive and well (as only he can be), over on BZ. His problem wasn't just being opinionated. It also included, belligerent, arrogant, vulgar, and just downright obnoxious far too often. He could often be a one man argument, taking both sides of a debate, and do so within a relatively short span of time. But hey, that's just my "opinion".

In many games, especially a tight game or one with relatively equally matched teams, the difference in winning and losing very frequently comes down to a handful of plays. When there are 3 or 4 calls on plays that could and would seriously effect the outcome, then the complaint about crappy officiating is relevent. In SB XL, the questionable (I'll side with the "bad" calls camp) calls had a major play, if not key play, in the scoring (or lack thereof) of 21 points. That does not include any possible points Seattle may have scored when there completeion to the 1-2 yards line was wiped out by the phantom "hold". From February 5, 2005, Pittsburgh's NFL team will go by the name of the Pittsburgh Stealers.

I love the "Marv is our Savior" spin.....Yet let it not be forgotten that it was under Marv when our dominating O-line of 1990 ended up with the like of Jerry Crafts, Jerry Ostroski, Corbin Lacina, etc. Yeah....Marv will right the ship, not because that's what he always did, but ONLY if he's learned from his own past mistakes. Marv was very much responsible for the beating Kelly took the last 3-4 years of his career.

Would have been better had the bogus hold not been called, yet Seattles tackle could also have been called for hands to the face (he got his hand under the Steelrs (Hagan?) chin and it was awful close. That would have been a less disputable call IMHO.

Despite everything, it does make a nice ending to the career of the "BUS"....
