  1. The 2 pt conversion was on the previous TD. We kicked for 1 on the last TD with 13 sec left. I know this because I was under the same impression for a while until I went back and looked at the order of everything.
  2. If the Jags stay at #1, Neal is the right pick. Must, must, MUST start protecting and building around Lawrence.
  3. In that same vein... It is mentioned that there is friction among a bunch of arrogant, stubborn, driven men in a high-pressure, high-profile environment and TBD immediately jumps to McDermott losing the team and not being a good leader because he didnt say something (which he has actually said over and over). Lot of you are eating this up as well. Sometimes you just have to call a spade no big deal.
  4. "...It comes down to execution, which starts and ends with the Head Coach... I take full responsibility for the execution that wasnt where it needed to be" Same thing he's said all along. What more do people want? Self-flagellation on Empire Sports Network?
  5. YOU are the only one I've seen driving this "speculation". Seems we're in some sort of twitter feedback loop on a line of bull####.
  6. "Speculation" being even less credible than anonymous sources. So...
  7. Because it's March 4th. Nah, dude was good, but kinda fell off when he hitched his wagon to Whaley/Monos and tried to stir the pot last year.
  8. Same reasons I've said before which you've previously disagreed with.
  9. Yep, its the cost of having a team to cheer for for such a small market.
  10. I'd argue that he has a ton of respect for Brady, where he has little to no respect for the Bills or Buffalo.
  11. Fair enough. I'm a little harsher on him, but not by much. I'd agree he's "average" (at best), with more weaknesses than just awareness. But we're just splitting hairs at that point. If we could get him back at or less than Milano's money, I'm for it.
  12. This would seem to contradict your earlier statement where you were questioning the assessment that he is just an average player. Unless I'm misreading and you were actually agreeing with Badol?
  13. Again, so what? What is the point you are trying to make? Without assuming, it sounds like you are saying: Since the Bills Defensive Unit has been ranked at the top as a whole, a player who is on the field a lot MUST be a top player. And since the Bills Defensive Unit back in 2014-2017 wasnt good, a player who was on the field a lot must also be not very good. Is that close? Please clarify.
  14. Sweet straw man to try to bolster your nonsensical argument that a player being on the field a lot means anything towards their performance. Next!
  15. So what? Just because he is "on the field" doesnt mean he is actually contributing much. As a matter of fact, I'd use that same statement to argue it's even worse that he has so few big plays given the amount of reps he gets.
  16. And that is where we disagree, and the grey area that drives the discussion and debate here, and brings us back to my first post where I pointed out that Klein stepped in for 2 games and did just as well as Edmunds and even made more significant plays than Edmunds did all year. I agree that the Bills could do much better than Klein as a starter, but I dont think Edmunds is much better than him either. Certainly not at almost 3x the cost.
  17. It is in no way useful on March 1. We're 6 months away, anything can happen between now and then. It will only lead to more bickering here.
  18. Right. But I think there will be equivalent value players at both CB and WR at #25. And one can come in, start right away, and play every down, and the other will be a part-time contributor. I think we all agree if Linderbaum was there, you sprint up to the podium without question. But outside of that, it gets murky.
  19. Fair enough, thanks for the numbers. Agreed that with the way we spread the ball out and around, we can never have enough WRs. Especially as injuries pop up. I'm just considering the difference in contributions between a #4 WR option vs starting CB. I'm all for drafting O. It has definitely been neglected. But I dont want to force things, "just because". I'll be shocked if Dean is still there at #25.
  20. Diggs, Davis, Knox are/will be Josh's top-3, trusted targets. Do we spend a 1st round pick on a guy who is our 4th option (at best)? Or a CB who can start right away, play every down, and contribute immediately? (I agree on G/C, but outside of Linderbaum, I don't think there are any worth the #25 pick) I appreciate the list and actual answer. Thanks! Same question for you as above. Are you taking balls away from Davis and Knox? Is it worth spending #25 on a guy who will be 4th or 5th option?
  21. Outside of Linderbaum, what O players or positions would you want to see at #25?
  22. I was going to say a 3rd, but then saw he's set to make $7.2M with only 1 year left, so that puts me at a 5th or 6th round at best.
  23. You are delusional if you think we re-sign Edmunds at $8-9M/year. If we could do that, then all these threads are unnecessary because even though he has been disappointing, I think everyone could agree that they'd be happy to have him at $8M/year. Hell, that's about what Klein makes. Edmunds will be in the $13-15M range. We are paying him $12.5M this year.
