  1. Depends on which WRs and which CBs are on the board. Have their been any runs? etc We met with CBs, C/Gs, and WRs the most, so I'd bet our first 3 picks come at those positions. The order depends on how the draft falls. If you gave us some different combos, we might be able to give better answers.
  2. No, there are always a handful of cases every year. But people forget in the year between, and then overreact when it happens again.
  3. This is VERY interesting stuff. Beane running a tight ship.
  4. I dont think he is either. Indy has been mentioned as a landing spot for Mayfield for a week now. I doubt that comes from Reich or only Reich. My post you quoted was only about how they'd be able to work together. Not that Reich is pushing for it.
  5. I think they balance each other out. We already saw what happens when they mix another choir boy with him. Reich could use a little of Mayfield's fire, and Mayfield could use a little of Reich's humbleness. edit: If Reich can work with 1980s Jim Kelly, he can DEFINITELY handle Baker Mayfield.
  6. I agree with you on Baker, and yet, the Browns FO is looking even worse. Poverty franchise. The fans dont deserve having to deal with Haslam. Indy.
  7. TAYLOR LEWAN, OFFICIALLY ON NOTICE!
  8. He ended it with "SHAQ SIGN THE CONTRACT"
  9. The Dolphins, Jets, and Pats subreddits were all in full meltdown last night after the Miller news broke. Everyone fearing for the lives of their QBs. Most already conceding the division to us. Was a fun night of reading.
  10. Drafting Dean would allow us to move on from Edmunds and have only 1 real LB contract (Milano).
  11. I would LOVE to be able to grab Nakobe Dean in the 1st, but I dont think we do even if he is there.
  12. I think they'll stay put and have some combo of CB, WR, C/G in rounds 1-3. Leaning towards taking that C/G in the 3rd, depending how the draft falls. No moving up since the real difference makers will be going too high to get to from #25.
  13. Retirement is perfect. Even less reason to release him or for the Bills to do anything. Let that take care of itself. Thanks for the Bease link. Even more reason he got released sooner rather than later. Not sure the point you are arguing here.
  14. Links?
  15. Nah, we knew Bease was on his way out, especially after the permission to seek a trade. Star hasnt been given anything like that yet.
  16. If they truly thought his time was done and they had no plan for him, they'd cut him. As you pointed out. Obviously (although this could change at literally any second), at this time, they want to keep Star around as a 1Tech candidate.
  17. Correct. For all we know Jones slips on a rubber mat next week and tears an ACL. No need to jump the gun if it isnt going to count until June 1 anyways.
  18. He's lucky they play in Jersey, he can't play in NYC.
  19. No but we havent really tried. Every FA CB we have brought in so far has been for vet depth, not to start.
  20. Wonder what this new Von Miller contract means for re-signing Edmunds. Especially with picking up Oliver's 5th year. (Bye, Tremaine)
  21. Just said this on a text myself. Really feeling bad for Jerry right now. Dude has been here through so much. Fighting with Marrone, racing cars with FJ, dealing with Rex... I wish we could bring him back at even vet min just so he can ride along for a ring.
  22. I think Burrow has some Miller left in him from the SB too.
  23. NFL contracts arent guaranteed. Most of the time when players sign big, long term deals like this, they never see the entire thing. As details come out, we find that this contract has $32M guaranteed at signing, and a total $52M guaranteed (of the so called "$120M"). So if we break it down, it turns out we can get out of the contract after 3 or 4 years. It's essentially a 3 year/$52M contract, or 4 year/$70M contract. $17M/yr for a premier pass rusher is about right.
