  1. At WR, definitely (although his TEs were strong). At OL, he certainly had way more talent in front of him.
  2. So they have been able to make an active roster, and Bease cant make a single active roster across the league, but Bease is better/just as good as they are. Ok. Great logic.
  3. They all have better stats than Beasley, and you can look up every play on the ESPN game trackers. This isnt the first time this conversation has been had here, that's why some of us already know this stuff. But keep making excuses for your culture warrior who is an old broken-down WR.
  4. So on Tampa that had lost a bunch of WRs due to injury, the best he could get was 5 targets. And on 4 catches he had 1 success and 2 failures to pick up the 1st down. Garbage stats. He's done.
  5. Disagree. Bease's bread and butter was getting hit on quick slants or short verticals to make the quick catch and scoot for another few yards. This is exactly what Brady loves to do with his little WRs. He wasnt going deep, and then coming back and improvising when Josh broke the pocket. Bease was doing the same thing in Tampa, making the quick catch, but NOT getting the additional yards. He came up short of the 1st down marker on 3rd down multiple times, and was released.
  6. You're getting into my territory of stretching and inferring things
  7. But we saw it here at the end of his time in Buffalo too. Tampa was just a continuation of his decline. Look, I want the Bills to win a SB more than anything. Regardless of his off field garbage, if he could play, I'd welcome him back. Especially right now with all the injuries. But he's done.
  8. But he's not moving the chains anymore. That was the issue in Tampa.
  9. Ha! Fair enough point, but Cole was the only one to get cut right after, so far.
  10. Not in two years. His time in Tampa was "catch and fall down", and just short of the 1st down.
  11. It's the "me first, team last" adolescent twitter rants, regardless of the topic. And what happened in Tampa was simple. He's old and his body is done and he couldnt pick up the 1st downs anymore. Back to back games he came up short by a couple yards, got chewed out by Brady, and then was released. And then said he didnt want to be there anyway. Like typical Bease.
  12. He's washed. He's a punk. He wanted out of Buffalo, and now that he has seen reality of the outside world, wants back in. Tough. If he could play at all, I might be interested. But he's physically done and not worth the hassle.
  13. Except that isnt the case here either. Russ aint no CEO. He's middle management, with little to no influence on hiring and firing, and throwing an after-work event that cuts into personal time. Half is decent. I dont think Wilson is very loved there right now, but I'd think this is better than expected given all the recent stories.
  14. At 34 and just starting this contract, I dont think his brand matters much anymore. This will likely be his last contract even if he was playing well. And with $161M guaranteed, I'd play for any coach.
  15. Oh hell yes. 3 day VIP pass heading my way! Tenacious D and Mars Volta on same stage?!?
  16. Yes. Both are absolutely horrible. About half is a pretty good turn out. There's been a lot of debate online about what this Tweet is trying to say. I'm in the camp that thinks it shows more support for Wilson. Getting half the company to an event would be considered successful for one of our events.
  17. lol, 1:30 in, Bentley jawing into the RBs ear after a tackle and shoving him down. Could never get away with that today.
  18. If we manage to pull it off, it would be quite the 30 For 30 story. Going back to getting screwed by McKissic and WFT which made us lose out on both McKissic and Wallace, the Araiza debacle, Saffold's car accident, Knox's brother passing, each and every injury on what has been the previously healthiest team, the illnesses, moving a home game to Detroit... Let alone all the stuff that has happened in-game like fumbling the snap to give the Vikings the go ahead TD. It's just ridiculous. And we still have 1/3 of the season left!
  19. Sounds about right to what we've been seeing on the field. Which is a big concern and bummer as far as our Super Bowl aspirations go, because one thing that every SB champion has in common is a good amount of luck breaking their way through the season. As the old saying goes "it's better to be lucky than to be good"
  20. Not only did we make Wallace an offer, but we would have made a competing/winning offer had we not gotten dicked around by McKissic in Washington. Beane was very upfront and transparent (read:pissed off) that had they known McKissic was going to stay in Washington, and had they known Washington was going to make a matching offer, he wouldve spent those resources on bringing back Wallace.
  21. He also had a huge fumble against the Lions in the 4th quarter, down 12, as Giants were mounting a comeback. Hodgins turned the ball over to the Lions at the Giants' own 30 yard line, and instead of a comeback, prompted the Lions to score again quickly and put the nail in the coffin.
  22. Yeah, his low numbers keep him out of the Sort, but if you drill down you can find him. 8 Tackles, 2 Misses. 20% miss rate. Not sure where the 66% is coming from at all. Unless they are counting QB Pressures against him as missed tackles, because he has 8 pressures. That would be 8/18, or 10 misses for 66%. So maybe. But that would be doing AJ dirty.
  23. I wonder where Cover1 is pulling that from, because while tackling has been bad, things dont look so dire when sorting by Missed Tackle % here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/defense_advanced.htm
