Vote For Romney Or Else: AZ style
Meathead replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
GILBERT, AZ - A Mesa woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly chased her husband around a Gilbert parking lot in an SUV during an argument over the presidential election. The woman finally ran over her husband, leaving him with critical injuries. According to a Gilbert police report, the argument started over her husband's lack of voter participation in the recent election. Holly Solomon, 28, apparently believed her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Barack Obama's re-election. Solomon's husband, Daniel Solomon, told police his wife "just hated Obama" and was very angry he was re-elected and blamed the President for problems her family is going through. T.J. takes blame for INT at end
Meathead replied to Ba Ba Ba Buffalo Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no offense but that is so freakin stupid i cant stand it so you think nfl routes are designed for the qb to see the wr is open before he throws it? hahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaa. thats not how it works. the qb reads the defense and finds the holes and throws where the wr is GOING TO BE. they throw to a spot not a person on that play you can see the hole is clearly RIGHT THERE exactly where he threw it doesnt matter if it was fitz or rob johnon or jay fiedler, blaming the qb there is just stoopid -
Graham had to have run the wrong route...

ive been fighting all day not to say this but i cant help it whytf is the rookie in there to do a sight adjustment anyway? they have enough veteran wrs on the team, why in the hell would you give the guy the chance to make a rookie mistake like that? yeah he has to learn sometime but not there. this was their last realistic chance to save their season, you dont put a rookie on the filed in that situation. i like chan but these kinds of coaching errors are piling up now and if hes not careful hes gonna start looking like dick the gameday disaster ugh man its tough being a fan of this damn team -
Reagan Knew Before Anyone...

pssh if hillary didnt care about bill getting tarts to blow him why should i. and dont give me that bull about hillary coming out and saying she was hurt, she didnt give a crap she just was mad he embarrassed her. the stupid impeachment was the result of a thoroughly wasteful and shameful witchhunt that never should have happened. sure, i wish he just came out and said ok she blew me so what, bite me. but he was painted into a corner over bullcrap and lied about a messy bj. big freakin deal. meanwhile bin laden was planning his big attack and we are wasting time wringing our hands over a spooged blue dress. you must be fkn with me. i couldnt care less about sexual shenanigans between consenting adults, and id bet my last dollar ronnie had his own tart on the side here and there, big movie star and all, he just never got caught anyway, bubba was an awesome president and is still a great leader. so would ronnie if he were still alive. they were very different but both great men in my book -
at least they arent alleging abuse by mike hunt

two greatest presidents in my lifetime: bubba and the gipper might be the two best ever. historians often say washington but i wasnt around then -
So who did/will you vote for today
Meathead replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
pres: jon huntsman ® - write-in all the rest: democrats - usually i vote for the best candidate but this year for the first time i voted to punish the republicans for their ridiculous stonewalling and other crazy antics the last few years im hoping huntsman gets the nomination next time. then again, if he runs against hillary hes gonna get steamrolled anyway. at least we would have two excellent candidates for the first time in just about forever -

Biggest winner on election night
Meathead replied to Cheeseburger_in_paradise's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
thats incredible. ive never seen the correlation between intelligence and political affiliation as clearly and dramatically portrayed as that right there i mean i always suspected. cmon, how couldnt you? maddow lists quite the collection of stupid delusions in that vid you posted. its been a circus tent party over there for a decade, with the last few years being the worst ive ever seen in my life and for those ready to jump on me, i voted for a republican this election, the only good one that ran, jon huntsman. but its just a fact that the gop is fubared, but i really dont have to make that point anymore -

What The Republican Party Needs To Do
Meathead replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
we are all dependant on each other and none of us are successful alone i used to make a ton of money and i didnt mind some of my good fortune going to help people that needed it. it never stopped me one iota from continuing to be creative and innovative and finding ways to generate more money for my business and my pockets now im disabled and poor and i see first hand why we should be eager to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters -
What The Republican Party Needs To Do
Meathead replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
since obama has been very overtly making it the center of his reelection id say all the people that voted for him do and i didnt vote for him but i also happen to agree -
if the republicans hadnt totally lost their fkn mind they would have easily won this election with the guy i actually voted for - jon huntsman, the only sane republican that actually ran that party is so desperately out of touch with reality theyve needed a total makeover for over a decade. i voted for huntsman bc a) obama didnt deserve another term after his lackluster first one, and 3) we absolutely must change the gop to run away from the crazies that currently dominate it and to something with any shred of healthy political sanity this country works best when there is approximate balance between the parties. any time one party gets control for very long things start to get really reeeeally messed up. its like they are completely codependant on one another, despite hating each other so much the republicans will rise again, and it will be under someone like huntsman. they need to go through their civil war first, and maybe even another thrashing in the next election cycle or two to really drive the point home through their thick heads, but once the nutjob circus freaks we saw in the last primary are shoved to the fringe where they belong somebody will step up and bring that party back to life

karl rove...lots of splaining to do
Meathead replied to birdog1960's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
rove is an evil genius total dick of an alleged human being but in his defense he was THE one that called the fact that florida was not decided when the networks had already announced gore as the winner there. i hate the guy but i dont get all the fuss over his relatively mild objection to what did seem to me to be a slightly premature call in ohio. he had a point, it just didnt work out his way this time. still hate him -
Assuming a loss to the Pats.....
Meathead replied to 8-8 Forever?'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
of course at 3-6 the worst they can do to have any realistic shot at a wc is to go 6-1 from there so a loss at cheaterville is the virtual last nail in the bills coffin anything can happen in pro sports but cmon do you really think this team has anything more than single digit percentages to pull of something like that? absofunkinlootly have to beat the filthy cheaters so no pressure -

actually both sides are correct about the black folks voted for obama cuz hes black meme a lot of blacks absolutely did vote for barry cuz they perceive him as black. the bigger actual issue is why since if he was any other half ethnicity but white we would have a problem with ignoring an entire fifty pcent but since its white we see no issue. so obamas half native indian and we just decide to ignore that. oh no racist. ok so hes half eskimo and we ignore that half oh no racist. ok then hes half white and we ignore that half i see no problem here. hmmm weird but blacks certainly have voted a ton for white candidates, as if they had much choice until a too green obama showed up but still they get credit for their non-black candidate voting too again the real issue is not the fact that both sides are right on this particular topic (black voting patterns), but really why we ignore the huge half white elephant just cuz its white when if it was any other race we would see the elephant plain as freakin day. weird -
The one and only TBD Political Thread
Meathead replied to Simon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
truth is if you take black social views as a whole there really should be more black republicans than democrats. blacks in general are staunchly anti-gay, evangelical, and defense oriented. its really only the post slavery residual racism that pushed them so firmly into liberalism. certainly that are large exceptions but id estimate it at least a 60/40 split i guess im just saying that when the republicans finally emerge from their pending civil war they would be wise to brand themselves to draw more of what is actually natural black conservatism and if they do they could easily regain some of their historic dominance. hopefully that brand will also purge some of the more negative aspects of black conservatism too, but i wouldnt necessarily hold my breath as we have struggled mightily to do that with our white conservatism lately -

of course you know whats gonna happen theyll end the season on a 5-3 or 6-2 run, just miss the playoffs, and lose out on drafting their franchise qb to the team just ahead of them
