Buffalo Is Going To Beat Houston
Meathead replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
welp all good and not so good things must come to an end i am 6-1 on the season with the lone blight being not picking the crappy titans to look like world beaters against our defense that specializes in doing just that id love to pick the bills here but id also love to have my turds come out as gold bullion for a month so texans by at least twenty -

fitz has definitely regressed since early last season but sunday he was pretty damn good. he needs to play like that more often than not over the rest of the season to earn his contract. defense is just epic horrible -
It took them 7 games, but THEY DID IT!! Worst D in NFL

maybins total stat line this season is one tackle so of course hes a good player -
sheppards been a major disappointment. hes often out of position and either hits hard or whiffs barnett might be fine on a team with strong lbs but hes on the downside and is asked to do too much so he looks a little slow and overmatched at times the other lb spot could be played by my grandma for all the good its doing the lbs are KILLING this defense. we knew they were the weak link but holy hell its been so much worse than i expected

truth. i watched that whole trial and that was the biggest bunch of bumbling fools i have ever seen. i think it was vanadder that actually kept a sample of ojs blood in his pocket for like eight hours! yeah no thats not gonna give the defense just cause to challenge the dna. morons i loved oj, he represents so many great childhood memories, and i was just hoping and praying he was innocent. but after watching every second of those proceedings i reluctantly came to the conclusion thats one negro that needed to be convicted - though frankly i would have voted to acquit based on the equally inept prosecution, they simply never made their case beyond a reasonable doubt. oj was guilty but got away with it due to sheer ineptitude. sad i wonder if johnny cochran and the others really thought he was innocent. we will probably never know

idk what it is about this board but of all the fan sites i have participated in over the years this one is the most gloomy see the bad side of everything we suck no matter what the record i have ever seen. i mean, all fan boards are bad, its sort of the sad reflective commentary on the masses generally miserably selfish outlook on life, but this one takes the cake granted, its been real bad being a bills fan this last decade plus. it seems no hot start is good enough, no success is sustainable, no set of scrubs with nothing to play for can be beat by the starters for a playoff spot. and for sure this isnt an elite team, more accurately just one of the pack that may or may not distinguish itself and emerge as a legit playoff threat over the remaining games but here it is one third into the season, the bills are as alive as almost anybody for a playoff spot, the team is amazingly healthy so far, and theres still probably the easiest schedule in the nfl left to be played from here on out. i mean, why in the world would anyone even remotely entertain the idea that the season is over? its like youre making out with a halfway decent partially drunk girl who seems to be just getting juicy and youre running to the bathroom to rub one out yall are crazy

im not even close to calling for chans head but that was a really unacceptable play call at the end. while its true chan would have looked like a genius if it works, the risk is just too high relative to the reward - for exactly the reason we saw. bills had the chance to force a td drive with a late fg so a turnover is sooo costly there and not worth chancing the instant i saw smith put the ball up and look downfield im like oh he is NOT going to really put this ball in the air, it must be a fake like statue of liberty handoff or some such s h i t. when he actually threw it i literally said out loud oh no and then bam its a pick i was hoping Chan would just come out and admit the mistake but he didnt. he wants to keep trying that play and he should, just not in a do or die situation like that

This team is still in this season
Meathead replied to PNW_Bills_Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nothing lucky about a 61 yd fg? so 60+ fgs are just raining down from the sky. dont worry coach, its sixty yards but theres nothing lucky to kicking it straight and makeable from 71. no problem that makes about as much sense as saying there was no luck to carringtons block. both guys (feeley and carrington) deserve credit for making their rare and super timely plays, but im certain they would admit there absolutely was both skill and luck involved -
Chan/Whisenhunt Reactions to Bad Penalties
Meathead replied to MURTR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
either style can work but lets face it the hardass style is easier to pull off in the nfl. these guys are generally coddled egomaniacs and putting some fear into them is the easiest way to get their limited attention span. but they are also still people, sometimes you have to look way deep past the layers of selfishness to find it, but they are people. so if a coach can tap into that and become more of the father figure then the dissappointed back turn can be even more powerful than the in your face chewing out i would generally prefer the coach of my favorite team to be a nice man, but as long as he isnt a total douche cough belicheck cough cheater cough then i dont really care what style he uses as long as it works -
did you predict every game correctly including your first guarantee in a decade?
