lmao playbook IS reps lololol oh lord
-
idk whats so confusing about this he was bought as insurance. thats it if fitz is hurt you dont want your only qbs on the roster to be thigpen and smith. they dont have enough second team practice reps to get him ready so they go with what they have that is ready. if fitz does go down they can have thigpen play the next game and spend two weeks getting tjax the reps he needs to take over. no damn mystery hell, ppl complain like hell that ralph is cheap then they go out and make a move for safety and ppl complain. no wonder marv said if you listen to the fans pretty soon you will be sitting with them

ChiSun: Kerry will be tapped for Sect. of State

man i cant stand john kerry most of the time but i think he would be good in that role hardest vote i ever made was selecting him against the dummy king. of course i woulda voted for a ham sandwich before the fk up we had in office then, but still -
this is exactly the point i made in the other thread we would need a complete sea change in our culture to be able to implement anything remotely similar to this kind of gun control and thats just a bridge too far. theres absolutely no way we could make that kind of transition in anything less than two hundred years we do need to make the effort, though, by starting with moving away from the total adherance to individualistic centricity and having a better respect for the collective. and the best way to do that right now is by ending this ridiculous political culture war that has ensnared us ever since 9/11 made us revert back to primitive base instincts. that kind of partisanship, after all, is really just an extension of the self, a sick projection of our selfish lower tendencies into what we convince ourselves is a collective. but it isnt, its really just clanship, a bunch of people we can be selfish with, who will pat us on the back and reward us for it, making us even more sure it is our right and duty to defeat 'those people' think about it

leslie fraser? surely you must mean the guy from the naked gun movies and dont call me shirley -
agree with this "After a shooting spree," author William Burroughs once said, "they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it." Burroughs continued: "I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military." ... Policies making areas "gun free" provide a sense of safety to those who engage in magical thinking, but in practice, of course, killers aren't stopped by gun-free zones. As always, it's the honest people — the very ones you want to be armed — who tend to obey the law.

Whatcha gonna do with your little pop guns?
Meathead replied to Gene Frenkle's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
bc thats what always happens. not just with this issue but with many, its always the most superficial simplistic arguments that get most of the attention when the problem is really very multifaceted im a left leaning centrist but one area i feel strongly aligned with 'conservatism' is gun ownership. i do think there should be more regulation but the idea of 'banning guns' to me is ridiculous. if that happens you will just go to the dealers to buy your guns like you do now for your drugs, your pirate dvds and your knockoff sneakers law abiding citizen absolutely must have the right to own reasonable guns, including handguns that can be concealed and carried. i dont carry myself, but i absolutely want to have that right if i need it. otherwise you are faced with either breaking the law or relying on cops that cannot possibly be at the point of attack the moment some unlawful lunatic decides s/he has the right to decide whether you live or die lets focus what the real problem is, a culture that centers on toughness and indivisuality and violence. even our gd national anthem is about what - violence. we reward the aggressive, the individualistic above the collective, the self above all else. we have created an echo chamber centric media and social networking system that allows people to exist comfortably in their bubble and never get exposed to anything else. we trumpet 'american exceptionalism' as if we have some natural inborn superiority and expect everyone to toe the line in agreement its sick. and it contributes directly to stuff like this happening. i really dont see any coincidence that america trumps all other countries combined in mass murders like this until we are ready to turn a mirror on ourselves and see the warts all over our arrogant faces this crap will continue to haunt us -

Better team now than three years ago?
Meathead replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you gotta be kidding me. talent wise its night and day better. easiest question ever problem is this is a fringe playoff roster and yet it looks highly likely chan wont get them close im still willing to give him another cycle to see if he can take the next step but if they dont produce a miracle 8-8 wildcard spot he should be on a short leash next year -

Two Men Arrested For Planning To Murder And Castrate Justin Bieber Two men from New Mexico are in custody today after their alleged plan to murder Justin Bieber and three other people was foiled by the prison inmate who initially ordered the hit. Details are still a little fuzzy at this hour, but apparently, convicted murderer and Bieber fanatic Dana Martin told police he convinced a recently released inmate named Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane to drive across the country and strangle and castrate a handful of people. When police tracked the men down, they reportedly recovered a bag of murder tools including pruning shears. http://www.cinemablend.com/pop/Two-Men-Arrested-Planning-Murder-Castrate-Justin-Bieber-50379.html

not to mention that was after several seasons where veterans were taking less money just to go there and win easy. then belicheater started screwing over loyal players and that thankfully went to pot the guy is a mediocre douche who cheated and now is riding the marcia gravy train. cant wait until he goes back to being just a surly dick
