Here is how I assess this coach and gm

i agree with the op the talent on the team chuddy inherited was close to all time bills franchise bad. id say only the 2-12 teams had more total crap players. so really seasons 1&2 had close to no chance of being good i do think they underachieved badly this season, but really they still only had borderline playoff talent as it is. im troubled by how badly things have gone downhill but really once they lost to the colts it was a super longshot to make the playoffs so crashing and burning the rest of the way doesnt really matter its quite possible that with one more round of drafting, free agency, and team maturation that they could turn the corner. its disappointing we have to wait another year to see the baby but i think its a better option than starting over when the ralph situation is so up in the air if they arent at least 4-4 at next seasons halfway point i would cut at least chan loose if not buddy too. but they deserve that last chance imo -

yeah well i cant go with that part. he went a considerable distance from his car in following martin and imo was reckless in pursuing martin that aggressively. i dont think he intended to hurt anyone but his carelessness contributed to an unnecessary death and he needs to be held accountable and manslaughter seems appropriate to me the real issue is the response to this case seem to be obviously way out of proportion with the situation. its so blatently an overcompensation that its aburd most of us dont immediately see the hypocrisy. why is there such a massive uproar over this case when a very similar case involving a black shooter and an unarmed man perceived to be white is killed? the white guy was even retarded, there was no physical altercation, and the shooter was never even interogated justice for daniel atkins! http://polipundit.com/?p=37745 (if you dont like this article just look up the victims name theres plenty more) of course the issue isnt really about black and white, or liberal and democrat, its a secular humanism issue. its about overcompensation and the horrible consequences of the phenomenon of white guilt. to really understand the damage its causing i again recommend that book by shelby steele. i can recommend other books as well. its a real problem and its desperately time we addressed it -

its sick isnt it? i visit churches and have friends in the ghetto, ive volunteered to help black folks learn to read and get off drugs, i even was married to a black woman and yet this stuff thats going on right now where our culture completely relieves black folks of some key responsibilities is disgusting as hell do you know that wearing a hoodie in the ghetto is viewed as menacing? if you go into a ghetto store or church or restaurant you will see tons of flyers hanging up announcing various events. on many of them it will say speicifically 'no hoodies', and even if it doesnt say that when you arrive they will tell you no hoodies. its because the thugs wear hoodies to hide themselves when the commit crimes. thus when you choose to wear your hoodie up in the ghetto you are screaming loud and clear you are making a statement that you are a badass and yet when treyvon makes the very deliberate decision to walk through an unfamiliar neighborhood with his hoodie up all of a sudden its racist to view him as a threat! now zimmerman was a dick who deserves to go to jail for manslaughter. but guess what, if that neighborhood watch captain was a charcoal black man and observed a young male with his hoodie up he WOULD HAVE PROFILED HIM AND KEPT AN EYE ON HIM IN EXACTLY THE SAME MANNER and yet here we are with white people bemoaning how awful it is that a black teen football player cant wear his hoodie up. and black folks are screaming murder and wearing their hoodies all over the non-ghetto as if they didnt know the very loud and deliberate statement that makes in the ghetto its some serious bull **** and it doesnt help us at all but you watch, people will come here right now and tell me im full of crap. despite my very explicit explanation based on all my experience, they will tell me i dont know what im talking about. you could even get a black person to come here and agree with me, which they always do in private with me, and both whites and blacks will play the same stupid game about how treyvon was some cute cuddly little baby you just wanted iced tea and candy. never mind that he WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO ATTACK SOMEONE for doing something he didnt like. oh no, he didnt do ANYTHING more black teens are going to die for making those same kinds of macho gangsta mistakes because the masses are in this kind of group insanity white guilt trip. its disgusting and it has to stop -

i agree with 3rd, who i think is the same guy from bfz, on this one what an awful way to treat someone simply bc of party. horribly racist too, and its REAL racism, not this phoney racism stuff thats been all the rage for the last decade plus. but of course black people cant be racist, right. just awful and although i generally lean left, i definitely am too disgusted with the current state of liberal white guilt apologetics. its unreal how blind so many millions of people are on this issue. ive been yelling at the bfz echo chamber for years and years and they still are as clueless as ever if you want to educate yourself on this very vital topic there is no book better than White Guilt by Shelby Steele. its been out for over two decades i believe and yet so very many people STILL are committing the same awful errors that hurt us all. i could not possibly recommend a book higher, i wish i could compel every american to read it http://www.amazon.com/White-Guilt-Together-Destroyed-Promise/dp/0060578637/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1355844540&sr=1-1&keywords=white+guilt -

which is why i say again that if they are forced to choose between players to retain they should try to keep byrd first. sometimes the reality is that you simply cant keep everybody. as good as viagra is he is also ultimately expendable if he is looking to break the bank and the bills cant make the cap situation work any other way. if they feel they can fill that spot with 90% of what he gives them for half the cost then you have to seriously consider that -

of the two id rather keep byrd and let cialis walk. would love to have them both of course but fact is its easer to replace a really good guard than a really good safety -

Tonawanda man, 22, charged in stabbing death A 22-year-old man who was described by close friends as badly in need of mental health treatment was arrested early Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in the Sheridan-Parkside housing development in the Town of Tonawanda. According to four neighbors who were close friends of Serwinowski’s, the alleged killer has had trouble for years with drugs and criminal activity, but all four said they have never known him to be violent. Serwinowski has bounced from home to home in recent years, neighbors said, and has spent much of the past 18 months living in Sheridan-Parkside with a family friend, Hazel Masten, 43. In recent weeks, Serwinowski has been depressed and at times has made suicidal remarks, stating that he was going to kill himself and “take other people with him,” a shaken Masten told The Buffalo News. “One of his girlfriends is a young woman in Kenmore who is going to have his baby any day now,” Masten said. “She told me [sunday] that she and the Tonawanda police have tried to get him admitted into mental hospitals for the past two weeks. She told me no hospital would admit him.” http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121216/CITYANDREGION/121219357/1010 a local story with relevance

yeah they got me figgered out thats for sure all pathetic kidding aside, im referring to things like the teachings of contemporary sprituality versus the overemphasis on individuality that infects american culture. americans dont see it bc they are immersed in it, but its dysfunctional to be so completely fixated on total individuality. its essentially at the core of the american style and it has negative consequences bc its simply taken too far. there isnt the proper balance between the individual and the collective. you could say that places like china and japan have gone too far the other way, but at least those places have dramatically lower crime rates, which is relevant not surprisingly, this issue doesnt resonate with many americans - which is the point

an awkward but potentially reasonable explanation that was my thought but i dont know the exact circumstance. perhaps the didnt have enough time to call the audible before the play clock expired

i just hope the bills dont blow it by winning their last two and ending up with a middling pick again when the game is on i find it real hard to root for a loss but im so sick of this crap i may find the strength to do just that these last couple weeks

Upgrading the Head Coaching Position
Meathead replied to Packerland Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh christ the LAST guy i want here is belicheat. unless he brings marcia, otherwise he goes back to the painfully sub mediocre coach hes been his entire non-brady career and billick hasnt been hired again for a reason - he fell into one sb and sucked the rest of the time right now im not too broken up over the idea of chan and co returning for one more shot. the lack of this team to compete more consistently is a big concern but there also is some potential explanations (no real wr2, poor lbs, fitz inability to hit long balls). starting over, again, just seems worse than giving these guys another cycle to see if they can get what they need and finish the job they started i guess im really worried that the massive uncertainty of the franchise as it waits on ralphs countdown clock means we are likely to just get another mularkey or moobs or dickball. if we really could finally get a really good coach and/or gm id be for it but that just seems way unlikely. we could actually do worse than buddy/chan then again, if ralph swallows his pride and rehires polian id throw all that out the window. but that aint happening -
not really the point. if they really didnt know the down then thats just bizarrely embarrassing. otoh, it looks really bad but it still could have been a busted play. at least thats what im hoping. im sure they will get quizzed mercilessly on it, which they should, so we should have at least some explanation here shortly
-
didnt really matter that it was against the bills, that would be cheesy against any team. im glad it wasnt my coach that did that
