  1. high passing numbers mean a loss as often as they mean a win not turning the ball over is the most important stat and since his last one hes been one of the better qbs in the league
  2. you like tom hanks and i like kevin bacon and for that im gonna kick your ass
  3. dont challenge abusers, just go get the ushers. i cant tell you how many times ive had people thrown out of the ralph for abusing opposing fans. friendly banter is one thing, but sustained verbal abuse is something entirely different and deserving of getting tossed. dont wait until it becomes physical, its obvious when someone isnt going to shut up, just go get security and let them deal with it
  4. every fight you hear some woman yelling stop it. like drunken neanderthals are going to suddenly calm down and say oh yeah youre right what were we thinking thanks for yelling stop it
  5. cheaters beddy beddy bulnerable still gonna be real tough knocking them off. fitz gonna have to be good
  6. i used to say i liked the feel of dick but by the time he left i had had my fill of dick
  7. if your team is at, below, or above .500, mitt loses
  8. maybe a pancho is a poncho for the peter pan guy
  9. whats a pancho?
  10. now that you mention it, i did always think chris brown was black
  11. yeah i did and its certainly very possible that ball was tipped. unfortunately the ball is blurry and there isnt much space between fitz and the defender to tell how/where the ball was travelling before it passes the outstretched hand of the defender. it does appear that the ball slightly changes direction, but again its very hard to be certain. but given how very wobbly the ball was when it hit the ground seems to support the idea that it was tipped given the relatively short distance between fitz and chandler, it seems very unlikely fitz or any qb could throw it that incredibly badly. so after watching that clip the most times in slow motion that i could stand, i think in order of possibility it was either tipped, or fitz grounded it intentionally to avoid the potential pick, or it simply totally slipped out of his hand while he was throwing it nice posting on the eye witness jumping to conclusions, too
  12. what is it about people and no links on this board. that is so freakin inconsiderate http://wgr550.com/pages/14292286.php?contentType=4&contentId=11468122
  13. interesting. now i have to go look at the game a FOURTH time now THAT i am sure of
  14. another poster really bad at this interwebs thingy link or it didnt happen
  15. i am aware of that, but that still doesnt mean he didnt throw it away on purpose. the 'throw' in his mind includes the entire process, from read to reaction to actually throwing the ball. he didnt read or react quickly enough, and so decided to throw it where it wouldnt get picked which when i heard this only confirmed that he meant to throw the ball away - he is making sure he avoids taking the chance trying to drop the ball between two onrushing defenders coming from behind and in front of chandler id bet money that if you asked him over a beer hed admit he really was more concerned about not throwing the pick than completing that pass the only point im making is that people are way overreacting to that play, giving it far too much precidence over everything else he did that game. bottom line is he did not turn the ball over, which included being extremely conservative not trying to drop that 'throw' in a situation similar to what burned them badly last game
  16. ive watched the game three times now and im convinced he threw that ball in the dirt on purpose yeah, he is way late on throwing to what initially is a wide open chandler. he sort of half pumps, making it even later, and then decides to just end the play instead of taking another chance trying to throw over the top on a late ball with the defender closing fast you can tell hes throwing it into the ground on purpose by his throwing motion, its short and choppy with no follow through, exactly like what you do when you mean to throw the ball in the dirt so certainly not a good play for him, and he did still have the chance to arc it over the top to chandler. but after getting burned by two late throw picks last week i can see why he decided to just cut their losses and intentionally ground the ball. until he has confidence in his new mechanics and is sure he can make those passes, im very supportive of him just throwing it away like that
  17. funny that youre the first person to comment on that fights happen bc too many people are absolutely retarded when it comes to allegience to teams. we see the huge fights in europe by soccer hooligans - im convinced that would happen here also if people could get away with it. lots of people think its completely reasonable to generate real animosity simply bc they wear a different uniform. it reminds me of the idiocy of gang warfare only on a slightly less insane level the real lunacy can be seen when you realize its just entertainment. imagine the ridiculousness of getting in a fight bc youre a fan of tom hanks and somebody else is a fan of kevin costner. we dont actually do anything as fans other than watch and party. yet somehow many of us get threatened by fans of what essentially are collections of movie stars its a big reason why i never wear a jersey of any current players, i dont like the hero worship that is associated with that kind of unhealthy attachment. if people really left it at just entertainment that would be fine but as we know they so often just do not. it seems so mind bottlingly stupid
  18. of course if they are fans of different teams that provides a completely sound reason why they would punch each other
  19. when i had seasons i loved it when people left early, especially after a big win. im one that likes to stay afterwards and party for an hour or three and when people leave early that makes the drive home super clear just about any time you want to take off so leaving early like that doesnt bother me. what does bug me a little is when people leave early when the game is still very winnable. it got a lot better during the kelly years as those teams taught the fans that almost no game was unwinnable. but ive noticed lots of fans have started leaving again when the team gets down by a couple scores late. i guess if you drove from albany or further theres a good reason to want to avoid traffic jams, but hell youve come all the way to op to see a game you might as well try to catch any miracle endings. same thing with hockey games the only game i left early that i almost regretted big time was when the bandits were down by something like five goals with two minutes left. we were walking up washington street away from the arena when we heard tavaras had tied the game to go into ot! unfortunately (but fortunately for us) they lost in ot, so we were off the hook. otherwise ive always stayed to the end of games and seen some amazing comebacks as a result
