  1. and as others have pointed out, i would say at 5.5-ish mil per hes slightly overpaid for his field performance, but more than makes up for it with his professionalism and awesome team ambassador posture on a successful team he would be beloved, but hes had the bad luck to be the most visible player in the dark decade and gets way way way too much blame for that as a result hes been getting better and better the last few seasons (when not playing lb) and should finally silence most of his critics with what i expect will be easily his finest season yet. and with the other big stars demanding most of the attention i wouldnt be surprised to see him post his biggest sack total either. im gonna set the over/under at 7
  2. no because i was saying this five minutes after he signed the extension and yes i am just that good
  3. this discussion has been about value of a de. if the discussion was about the value of sack totals only then you would have a point. kelsay is the second best all around de on the team. he is also pretty good at applying pressure, though admittedly has a problem with finishing sacks against any team not named washington you dont judge one des run stopping ability based on team rushing stats, you base that on tackle totals and he has consistently been near the top of that list the last few years when not playing the disaster that was the linebacker experiment and to complete the being wrong trifecta, buddy recently confirmed what ive told yall all summer that kelsay will play rde on early downs, anderson plays later/passing downs, and kelsay will switch sides when spelling mario. its probably inaccurate to call either player a starter really, but kelsay will likely end up with at least as many if not more plays than anderson
  4. yes. and then bring in travis henry, rae carruth, and lawrence phillips
  5. you can fair catch a kickoff (or technically a fg attempt) and on the next play try a free fg (no tee allowed) even if time has expired obviously an extremely seldom used rule edit: didnt know it could be used on a punt. is that correct? i thought it was only for kos and fgs or a safety kick
  6. peyton taking denver to the playoffs this year is about as sure a thing as you can get. theyve got that neck surgery down pat now and he should have no lingering effects from it whatsoever. i have no idea how many more years he has left but i know hes got at least one more at elite level production. i just hope they dont end up taking a wc spot away from us

  9. plenty of double reverses, statue of libertys and fumblerooskies sincerely, mike mularkey
  10. yeah ... i will eat my whammie weenie if the bills start the season 5-0 and since i lost my whammie weenie years ago you will have to provide one but if you do i will gladly eat it of course i hope that happens. not only bcuz the bills would be 5-0 but bcuz id finally get a whammie weenie back. after a few days anyway
  11. young at 90%? i dont think so. more like 50% martin more like 2%
  12. lets be real here last years bills played well enough to stay with the cheats in that first game, but more than anything else they won because of luck. dareus has a ball bounce off his face right into florence hendersons breadbasket for a pick six. and fitz gets a mulligan on a horrible decision and even more horrible throw that draws a gift endzone pass interference call on an uncatchable ball nelson never would have got close to. either of those super unlikely things dont happen and the bills dont win as much as i cant stand marcia, as long as they have him they will be a dominating team. bills will need to be A LOT better if they dont want to rely on more football follies to win games for them
  13. its 'chuddly' and i dont think it has anything to do with justifying the signing others have answered the question satisfactorily so lets just review 1). smith actually saves roster spots by serving in at least three possible roles c). smith was incredible on third downs. they only stopped using him in that role bcuz he had to concentrate on wr after all the injuries hit Ω). smiths value as a kr was severely blunted by the new kickoff rules, not bcuz he suddenly sucked at kick returning █). smith and the rest of the offense didnt get a full camp/preseason to properly prepare for chans wizardry, thus the packages were basic and immature. with a full offseason they will be able to run a much more sophisticated and tailored package /question
  14. mario really shouldnt be on that list. 'comeback' player implies an unlikely hero kind of situation, somebody who you thought was down and just about out but rebounds and surprises. mario had a pretty standard injury that usually heals well and doesnt cause future problems somebody like merriman or pinky, otoh, had injuries that can hamper a player for the rest of their career. that achilles surgery is getting better and better so recovery is more likely than it used to be, but it still takes time and can still permanently hamper a player in some cases. compared to those two, brownie has a relatively easy road back to dominance
  15. is it just me or was he a little too giddy beating up on the white man
  16. see i told you tv wrestling was real
  17. tick tock boom
  18. you have to wonder if he had the potential to be a significant contributor why he hasnt done it up until now. but with nobody established past stevie the opportunity is about as wide open as you can get. although wr2 isnt as important in an offense that employs so many wideouts, the bills desperately need somebody to show they can consistently pressure the dbs and give some space to stevie. hagan seems to have as much chance as anybody else to be that guy
  19. the only snapping danny batten will be doing is prepping the bunny pajamas for display at the baby gap
  20. if anderson wasnt on the team kelsay probably would get over seven sacks simply because he will face single teams while the oline is focusing on williams, williams, dareus and merriman. but since anderson is on the team he will take passing down plays and limit rushing opportunities for kelsay still, kelsay should have his best season overall for the same reason
  21. no to the mouth rapist
  22. just like the last time he posted his new vid, the one that i see embedded here is not the one he referred to in his text. something weird with the bbs software and the browser, idk. the vid i see is his prior one, Buffalo's Offseason Part 2: Full Recap. but the one he talked about in his text description was Buffalo's Easy Schedule is Hard just like last time, i had to go to youtube and find the correct one, which i found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqFas4cJGYA&list=UU1fMRS4dC5uYNjLiewH26oA&index=1&feature=plcp apparently some people get the right one and some people (like me) dont, so idk whats going on but i do like the vids so just thought id let you know edit: now see, i just went to youtube and used the url from the proper vid, yet when i pasted it here the prior vid shows up!!! very weird lets try this, heres the url from the share button: http://youtu.be/QqFas4cJGYA
