  1. hes referring to toys in the attick, which is an old aerosmith song, it means crazy which means hes saying once the games start for realsies its gonna be all crazy up in hmya. black guys always stealing our phrases
  2. if you cant have a good season with tom brady throwing you the ball then you are the definition of washed up
  3. yeah i also originally had mcgee off the team but they would be pretty ridiculously green without him. they could easily decide to bump him if they can come up with another veteran corner from cutdowns again, dickerson is not a real te. he could be listed at hb/fb if you want. hes a specialty player that allows them to run that two catching te/fb formations that are becoming popular. theyll keep mcintyre mostly for special teams
  4. i originally had thigpen bumping young because i really think young has shown his limitations are fatal for a starter, but i decided to list him just to show confidence in chan lee working their magic. wouldnt at all be surprised to see young cut in favor of the far more familiar thigpen tho. not that thats a good thing ...
  5. four tes because they need two blocking tes for goalline and dickerson is going to be a catching hback. they could drop mcintyre but they like him for special teams scott will usually play a te covering lb but could also cover for a safety in a pinch. they need that extra roster spot stolen from s/lb to let them carry nine dlinemen, considering they will play most downs with less than three lbs on the field (or with anderson/merriman lined up like a lb, same thing) yeah no way carder goes to the ps, he would be gone, which is why they will carry him on the roster if they decide not to carry a kickoff specialist they might fill that spot with another olineman, but if not then they will rely on the ps system (theirs and other teams) to get a lineman if/when somebody needs to be replaced
  6. QB (3): Fitz, Young, Smith RB (4): Jackson, Spiller, Choice, McIntyre WR (6): Stevie, Nelson, Jones, Graham, Easley, Hagan TE (4): Chandler, Smith, Caussin, Dickerson OL (8): Hairston, Levitre, Wood, Urbik, Pears, Glenn, Rinehart, Sanders Offense: 25 DE (5): Mario, Kelsay, Anderson, Merriman, S.Johnson DT (4): Williams, Dareus, Edwards, Troup LB (6): Barnett, Sheppard, Morrison, Scott, Bradham, Carder S (3): Wilson, Byrd, Searcy CB (6): Williams, Gilmore, McKelvin, McGee, Rogers, Brooks Defense: 24 K: Lindell, Potter P: Moorman LS: Sanborn Total: 53
  7. its going to take graham a couple of seasons before hes ready to really compete for a starting job. i think chan will use him to get the matchups he wants but expecting him to routinely beat top corners at this stage is just way unlikely
  8. well i think weve said everything that can be said about fitz ... back in FEBRUARY lol but yeah its the same stuff over and over again now heres a summary: 1). fitz is tough and gutsy, a poor red haired mans favre who doesnt email pics of his ed wang to admittedly super hot chicks. just like a typical buffalo man. except we do anonymous email our weiners around cuz i know its not just me. but thats not a brett favre moment c). fitz is smart, an amish mans version of stephen hawking with working arms and legs. too soon? IV). right now fitz is just good enough to win you some games you shouldnt and lose you some you coulda won. iow a typical nfl starter. which is about where i would rank him, fifteen through eighteenth Ǝ).this is fitzpatricks rich gannon season. well except that gannon had a total of 21 plays his entire three years out of college, then was a full time starter for three years, then sucked himself into being a backup for four years, then became a starter due to injury, then became a stud for four years. the point is this looks like the season fitz either turns it all on and becomes more like that franchise level guy we saw the first half season, or the jon kitna who can get you some wins and give you a chance to win even in the postseason but will never reliably steal enough games to make him franchise. so most other things about gannon are different but that one thing about turning the switch on is so important it deserves to be called his rich gannon moment. i dont make up the rules honestly i think he does it. the line should be great this season, hes got two great backs, a legit te threat, and a blossoming legit number one wr. plus fitz wont have to make up for a defense that hemorrhages yardage (captain obvious moment). coach lees pattern is pretty sold and impressive and i think he continues that success putting fitz safely in the top ten pretty obvious that closes the book. so anybody going to allentown?

  12. its amazing that they added david lee directly to the roster. not sure why they added vince young then since lee should obviously be able to do that job. not since earl morral has a man over fifty played qb. should be awesome
  13. thank you just about to post that myself how good of a qb was david lee?

  17. back in the late 80's when i was living in dc i decided to combine a vacation to wny with a stopoff at cleveland to see the bills play. so on my way back to dc sunday morning i flew into cleveland, put my carry-on into a locker, and headed to clev stadium, with a scheduled flight to head back to dc in the evening without a ticket, i intended to just scalp one outside so i made sure my bills shirt was covered up and stuffed my hat in my pocket to reduce the resistance i might get. there was reports of fake tickets being a problem there and there werent many scalpers, then somebody told me the game wasnt even sold out, so i figured i might cut the hassle and just go that route i found a ticket booth closer to the back of the stadium and there was no line. the ticket clerk was a very friendly young man and we chatted for quite a while about a variety of topics while i was still deciding whether to scalp or not. i finally revealed to him that i was a bills fan and i was there by myself and i was mildly worried about getting ripped off by a scalper, so he said he would gladly take care of me and get me a seat i would like. he was so nice and professional i just decided to end the hunt and go for that it was pretty close to game time as i made my way through the stadium. sure enough, as i got closer to the section it appeared like it was a decent angle to the field, a nice height to catch game action, so i was excited as i counted down the steps to get to my row. it was in the middle of a section so i politely made my way to the center of the row, sat down, and started laughing my ass off directly in front of me was a steel beam that completely cut off all but two little slivers of the field on either side. if you wanted to see anything you would have to lean over until you were essentially cheek to cheek with one of the people sitting next to you. scrawled on the beam were comments like 'why is there even a frikken seat here?' and 'i cant see ѕhit' after cackling hysterically for about five minutes i got up and started looking for a seat. the game had started and the stadium had filled right up, and there was nothing around me available so i headed for the endzones figuring that was my best chance. i finally found a seat right next to a guy and his about eight year old son attending their first game together. although the bills lost, i had an awesome time sharing that norman rockwell father and son experience. and of course i still chuckle when i see that huge steel beam in my mind and think of how gleeful that ticket clerk must have been when he told that story to his friends
  18. one word: close paren
  19. so does that make you the new old guy or the old new guy?
  20. i do actually think the bills will keep 10 dlinemen, especially if merriman is really healthy first of all, they will be playing with fewer than three lbs about half the time so they really only need to keep five there, maybe even as few as four if they think scott can do more than cover the tes. they also can have several of their dlinemen drop back if they want/need them to, including merriman, johnson, and in an emergency carrington, and anderson
  21. locks: mario, kyle, marcell, kelsay, anderson almost locks: merriman, troup - big investment protects them somewhat; both need to show injury problems are over or they could be released to make room for other promising youngsters likely to stay: edwards, s.johnson - edwards for his quality play and veteran savvy and johnson because he plays all line positions battling for final spot: heard, carrington, moore
