  1. with oj being the standard bearer for killing two people he gets the perfect score of 100. we dont even need to count the incident holding memorabilia dealers at gunpoint travis henry, the only other bill who is/was a long term convict, gets only a score of 52 for second place for trafficking in cocaine and illegitimate children - as far as we know he didnt sell his children but if that drug deal had gone through who knows third is conrad dobler, whose douchbaggery was all on the field, and he posts a relatively low score of 32
  2. yeah how can there be any answer other than oj the battle here is for second place
  3. musta been training officials in cincy last season
  4. bad news: most players with that injury never fully return to their former capabilities - doesnt mean they cant play but they have to adapt their game and usually their overall production suffers as a result good news: they are getting better and better with that surgery and more players are returning with a greater level of function faster sooo what does that mean? we have to wait to see if shawn injures himself drinking gatorade but yeah theres reason to be reasonably optimistic
  5. my uncle joe smoked two packs a day and lived until he was ninety, therefore smoking is safe this is essentially the rationale of not taking instruction because somebody else didnt need to in order to be successful. you see this a lot among aspiring musicians, they point to jimi hendrix and say hell he played the guitar upside down so i dont need no damn lessons. lol yeah for every one of those theres a thousand pro musicians that did take lessons. you dont need to recreate the entire wheel to be a good race car driver yes it indeed was surprising to me that fitz said he had never had mechanics instruction. while its true that most of a qbs success comes from between the ears, that still doesnt mean you cant improve with various types of physical training including throwing mechanics. it doesnt guarantee anything, it could just be putting lipstick on a pig cough tebow cough, but considering fitzs struggles with wtf throws especially long balls to his left you would think it would have been provided by now nevertheless, if this training sticks with him and he fixes those glaring weaknesses in his game he could easily transform into a legit undisputed franchise guy this season. if
  6. its a concern but for the majority of the plays there will be less than three linebackers on the field anyway. the strength of the defense will be their deep line rotation so really all you need is decent backers and i think the bills can confidently field two of them, at least until injuries force some of the very green backups into action
  7. why did you mention a slot wr? i didnt see anywhere designating a specific slot wr did i miss something the only mistake i see is kelsay is the starting rde not anderson extreme long shot hes a not fast, not tall, not powerful, possession wr five percent chance to be on the opening day roster at best
  8. age and injuries have caught up to clark ... his expiration date has expired viszantkhxe shiãnz7cxoe otoh might still be good enough to let the bills use the cheaters two te offense against them for a change
  9. the only long snapping batten is going to be doing is at his new job putting on footsie pajamas at the retirement home
  10. if fully recovered it would obviously be merriman i just dont think its possible for him to fully recover. if he did, he should obviously start opposite mario. but at his age and his injury history, it would be stupid to think he can do that. they will be using him sparingly to try to keep him on the field as long as they can, which makes his usefulness limited. still, he could be the leagues best situational rusher, which would be quite valuable easley, hell he hasnt been useful at all yet so you cant even project anything
  11. in terms of being irreplaceable theres really only two on that list: stevie and white williams wood is good but the do have a suitable replacement without nearly as much drop-off. you lose kyle and suddenly half your dominating inside line is gone. and of course without stevie the wr effectiveness drops off the map as much as i love freddie, spiller is closing in on that job anyway
  12. chuck the featriots did i say that already in this thread? idk and im too lazy to look. if not then chuck the featriots
  13. saying kelsays contract is why hes hated is like saying some guy looked at you wrong is why you hauled off and punched him in the face people hate kelsay for one reason: because they are hate addicts and need a target. if they cut kelsay yesterday by today those people would have picked somebody else to direct their hate on. hes been here the whole decade of suck and thats enough for those people decide hes worthy of their scorn thats it. doesnt make sense, but look at the world around you, look at how many people treat each other, its so widespread you hardly notice it until it manifests in something irrational and easy to spot like this
  14. i thought you meant theyd be calling something like 'Karma Left ... The Secret Right ... The Universe Wants This Pass To Work ... Hut Hut Hut!"
  15. haha no theyve got plenty of des. even w/o merriman its better than most teams if merriman plays at all this season hes gonna be a rush specialist only. so really it doesnt matter what they list him as, he will be placed wherever on the field he fits into a specialty package. theyre calling him a de more just because they gotta pick one
  16. finally someone talking some sense
  17. zakly be a star or you suck
  18. i say we bring him in
  19. lets be honest, there are lots of people around that need something to unload their animosity on. if there isnt an obvious target, they will simply create one. ask most of my gfs in my life. professional sports attract an inordinately high percentage of these kinds of people kelsay had the unfortunate curse to be a) on this team the whole decade of suckitude; 3) got a too big contract extension from marv levy, and ¶) he accepted a trial at olb where he failed miserably in open space and created a lasting image of letting rb/tes run free for big plays. thus he got the attention and became the default face of the crappy no-playoff franchise to a lot of people truth is, he is what many of us know he is - a very solid but unspectacular player who (when playing de) does everything pretty well, makes very few mistakes, and is a terrific lockerroom/field presence and a great team ambassador the reality is if he was playing opposite bruce smith and on some of the great defenses of the early 90's he would BE phil hansen. people remember hansen as a lot better than he really was because he was on memorable teams. people think of kelsay a lot worse than he is because he was on some really forgettable teams #truth
  20. yes because as everyone knows sacks are the only measure of a quality defensive end
  21. the only sacks batten is going to see are while he pretends to be a massage parlor doctor saying 'turn your head and cough sailor'
  22. Allen, TX (Sports Network) - Upset at the shenanigans by Terrell Owens, owners of the Indoor Football League's Allen Wranglers released the former NFL wide receiver on Tuesday. His ownership stake in the team was also terminated. Owens, who signed a contract with the IFL club in February, made it clear he had no intentions of playing in the team's upcoming crucial road games against Nebraska and Everett, according to the team. Additionally, Owens never showed up for an appearance at a local children's hospital with other Wrangler players and coaches. "It is difficult to look at other players on this team in the eyes and tell them that being a team player is important...that giving it your all on the field every night is our expectation, when another member of this team is not operating by these standards", said team president and co-owner Tommy Benizio. "The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for Mr. Owens was his no- show to a scheduled appearance at a local children's hospital with other Wrangler players and coaches. It is not the desire of the Allen Wranglers' organization to disappoint fans by having our most notable player miss a scheduled appearance." http://www.mynews3.com/content/news/sports/story/Wranglers-owners-upset-at-T-O-WR-released/NCKKLMppxU6DEIkN8FOgRQ.cspx
  23. this is now a completely qb centric league so any team that has a brady or a peyton or a brees is going to look like they know what they are doing i cant wait until brady is finished and belicheat goes back to being a crappy sub-.500 coach
  24. the only sacks danny batten will be administering are the ones he produces after asking 'paper or plastic?'
