its a concern but for the majority of the plays there will be less than three linebackers on the field anyway. the strength of the defense will be their deep line rotation so really all you need is decent backers and i think the bills can confidently field two of them, at least until injuries force some of the very green backups into action

if fully recovered it would obviously be merriman i just dont think its possible for him to fully recover. if he did, he should obviously start opposite mario. but at his age and his injury history, it would be stupid to think he can do that. they will be using him sparingly to try to keep him on the field as long as they can, which makes his usefulness limited. still, he could be the leagues best situational rusher, which would be quite valuable easley, hell he hasnt been useful at all yet so you cant even project anything

in terms of being irreplaceable theres really only two on that list: stevie and white williams wood is good but the do have a suitable replacement without nearly as much drop-off. you lose kyle and suddenly half your dominating inside line is gone. and of course without stevie the wr effectiveness drops off the map as much as i love freddie, spiller is closing in on that job anyway
