  1. If he did, no big deal. Guys may return after 9-10 months but they are also usually not the player that they were before the injury. It usually takes a good 18 months for them to be the player they were before the injury. Let him take his time. We are facing a Packers team void of WR talent and a Jets team that has good WR's but doesn't have a QB to get them the ball.
  2. I think its just the case of them not wanting to rush him back until he is completely ready. They don't particularly need him (I know hard to say) right now as Benford, Elam, and Jackson have been more than holding it down. Why rush him back if that's the case. They even cited rushing Thomas Davis back only to watch him tear his ACL again. Chris Godwin rushed back after tearing his and he lasted one week before he went down with a Hamstring. Just be patient, let the young guys do their thing. They are looking at White's full career over rushing him back for a mid season game that they should win even without him.
  3. I'll pass on the 4th rounder. Gonna be some RB's out there on the block and Robinson just went for a 6th. I'd maybe offer a 5th rounder and see if that gets it done.
  4. If this is a topic about the Bills defenses success without having really 3 of our starters for periods of time than I think you can chalk it up to scheme by the coaching staff and their ability to coach up the defensive backs. It might also mean that we have a hell of a lot of depth in the secondary.
  5. This stuff is 100% getting held back because of the elections in my opinion.
  6. While people may be disappointed, that is about the going rate for an average TE in the league right now. They have become so valuable and so hard to find. I also think you'll see his production pick up here after that bye week.
  7. The reason why Hackett specifically is looked fondly upon by the NFL Community is because his father was looked fondly upon by the NFL Community. His father coached in the NFL for like 20 years and made all kinds of connections for junior. The tea leaves should have been on the wall cause Paul Hackett was a severely overrated coach as well in his day but the NEPOTISM of it all played a huge factor is Nathaniel Hackett being where he is today.
  8. Its the same as how Josh McDaniels, Adam Gase etc got jobs with all time great QB's. Stupidity. The fact that NFL owners and GM's etc don't see this is beyond me. Give me the guy who takes a below average QB to the playoffs or a coach who get a team less talented to play up over guys who have it easy coaching HOF QB's. What Mike Kafka is doing with Daniel Jones is HC worthy. Lou Anarumo with the Bengals playing top 5 defense without a ton of household talent. Those 2 would be at the top of my list.
  9. Ah mistaken, could have sworn he played 1 regular season game and looked decent must have been another preseason game.
  10. Ehlinger hasn't looked bad in the preseason and limited regular season exposure. I think Reich knows he is going to get canned unless a young guy can get it going. I like the kid, whether he's a starter in the NFL it TBD. Ryan wasn't taking this team anywhere, he was shot.
  11. If I were looking at a player from Denver I'd probably go after KJ Hamler. Explosive slot guy who can get vertical. Wouldn't cost as much as Jeudy or Chubb but i'm sure wouldn't be cheap either so I suspect we wouldn't make a move on that.
  12. Nickname plus my favorite numbers thats it.
  13. yes but ideally we don’t want Josh Allen to be RB 1. I want the guy to be out QB for 12-15 years and not 8-10 cause we buried him in the ground running him
  14. Why wouldn't they? The NFC is awful. San Fran is probably the best team in the NFC if Jimmy G doesn't crap the bed for them.
  15. I doubt thats true though. They probably still thought they had something in Moss when they didn't. After 6 weeks, they now realize they are wrong which is why he's inactive. I'm all for getting Cook more looks as well. I think having a parachute to fall back on in case Cook craps the bed isn't the worst idea. I agree that interior OL should be a priority or at least another Tackle now that Doyle and Brown are down probably for a period of time and our next best back up option is either Justin Murray or Bobby Hart.
  16. No what you said was that no RB will get overworked as long as Josh Allen is here. That's not correct just because he's not running the ball 20 times a game like Barkley doesn't mean a 5'6 running back taking on 250-300 pound men all day in pass pro is a walk in the park or running routes is easy at top speed.
  17. He's playing over 80% of the snaps and still has to pass block guys who are way bigger than he is for Allen to pass or run routes out of the backfield every play. Its not like Singletary stands there going well I guess i'm not running this time so I can just stand here on this play and rest.
  18. People wanna hear what they wanna hear. Our RB depth stinks. If Singletary goes down, we are stuck with Moss, Cook, who isn't nor should be expected, to be a full time RB this quickly, and Duke Johnson who hasn't been relevant in 3 years. This team could use another back that can take some of the work off of Singletary so he's fresh down the stretch. I vouched for Gibson because we can probably get him for a 5. He comes from a dumpster fire of an organization and needs a fresh start. I was met with Singletary is better and what a dumb idea, when the idea was for him to come in and be our Running back 2, not to be our workhorse back.
  19. He’s a great prospect, the Bills reportedly loved him coming out. He would blossom with Allen and upgrade the 3rd spot but the Jets will no way trade him to a divisional rival if at all
  20. Dude its Wyoming. I actually think your best argument is the MWC isn't as strong as it used to be. Its arguably has two of the worst teams in the country in Hawaii and Colorado State, Boise has fallen, Utah State isn't what it used to be. I think Bohl all things considered has made that a decent program that makes bowl games every year compared to what it was when I was growing up and they won 2 games every year
  21. Could be a lot of different things. Lets start in high school. He played a bad level of football in California with coaches who probably weren't the best at what they do. He then went to a local CC that hasn't had a ton of success and probably didn't have a lot of resources around him again. He goes to Wyoming based on raw physical attributes and carries and really bad roster in particular his senior season to a bowl game after he had a couple legit NFL guys his sophmore year in Tanner Gentry and Hollister etc. Gets out of school and gets around the perfect resources, spends more time at his craft, and the physical tools fully blossom after a couple of years in the NFL.
  22. They'll always be San Diego in my heart. The LA "my fans don't exist and we play on the road all the time" Chargers
  23. Without looking at schedules, I predict this to be the AFC Standings: 1. Buffalo 2. Kansas City 3. Cincinnati 4. Indianapolis 5. San Diego 6. Tennessee 7. Baltimore
