  1. This matters Yolo. As I stated above, it doesn't seem as if police or others were hurt. This is huge imo. My experience has taught me that more often than not, when a good guy gets sick, he is just that. And when a scumbag gets sick, he is a sick scumbag.
  2. I pray for his mental and physical health. So far I have not heard anything about police officers or innocent civilians getting hurt and this is great news.
  3. Wow, what a throw back! He reminds me of guys like Riggins, Csonka Marv Hubbard, etc. I don't know how well this will work in the modern NFL but the kid sure looks tough. Edit: Not impressed with 15 reps on the bench at the combines.
  4. If it's not the truth in fact, it is the correct philosophy. It's not the only reason, but the primary reason for the decades of despair is the lack of good quarterback play.
  5. Well, Andy Reid thought enough of him to trade away a very good Alex Smith. I too wanted Watson. I'm a Crimson Tide Fan and saw how well he played against Saban defenses. You saw how Clemson looked against the Tide without Watson. You see OMF? YOU out-guessed Bills management!
  6. I couldn't have said it any better!!! Nice work.
  7. And my contention is that sometimes there are fans who out-perform Bills management. I don't demand perfection. I'm a Bills Fan and I know better. That said, Bills management scoffed at the idea of drafting Mahomes or Watson last year. Instead, they traded down and selected a corner (what a shock!). I can recall a slew of TBD posters not liking this move. Make no mistake, White looks like an excellent corner. Still, do you think that this trade was a good idea? I don't and never have. It reminds me too much of mistakes of the past: Whitner at #8 - He was "good" and we "needed" a safety. McKelvin at #11 - Another supposed "need" pick. He played well..... after a few years. Dareus, Gilmore, A. Williams, Darby.....I could go on and on listing players that we drafted that were considered to be "good" while we had quarterback issues and lost football games. Now, this GM and Coach seem to be much better. You don't see me here ripping them apart. Still, they must show us more. Bills Fans deserve it. Given the above, I don't have a problem with a fans calling out team leadership and holding them responsible for huge mistakes. I mean this IS a message board, and one that happens to contain some folks who I consider to be extremely knowledgeable. Jmo.
  8. I am familiar with this type of post. It's just another "attack the fans" post. It isn't that original. Please allow me to, in the most respectful manner, remind you to whom you are posting: We are the most diehard fans you can imagine! We are still here after decades of losing and front office stupidity. I am not going to list all of the idiotic moves by the Bills front office, but let me hold up the 2006 draft as a cookie cutter example of inept, bush league stupidity. And I dare say that this front office also had all the tools of which you speak. Am I correct so far? The truth is that I feel good about our current coach and GM. They appear to be solid football people and have made some pretty good decisions thus far. That said, you are here telling dedicated fans how little we know which is your right I suppose. But do remember that a 12 year old kid with a few draft magazines and internet access could have done a better job drafting players than Whaley, Rex, or some of the other inferior football people we had running this team. There are many fans on this board who made great draft predictions, only to watch the Bills take Leodis McKelvin at #11 and lose game after game, for years. Some of the posters here (not me) are football experts. Do stick around and see. Anyway, that is the past. Most Bills Fans are still scarred in some way and skeptical but maybe things will change. It does look OK so far imo. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I didn't care so much for Brown in coverage. He always appeared to me to be more of a throwback type of LB. He is VERY strong and tough to run on. If Glenn can stay healthy, you will have a very solid LT. He is huge but he can also move. He isn't Orlando Pace but he is a perfectly fine LT when healthy imo.
  10. DB, I agree that Moore has a great feel for his hometown. But it does beg the question, why would he make that speech that absolutely HAD to help President Trump in the rust belt states (which were just SO important)? Why? Did he want President Trump to win? Was he trying to prove how smart he was? Did he think that telling his homies that this election would be the biggest f$#@ you in American history would not sway the outcome at all? Did he not say that it would be "good" when they voted for Trump? I don't know, will Moore, ever the capitalist, have a higher income with a Trump presidency? Again, why would he make that speech? The sellout repub "leadership" has done, and continues to do more to hinder President Trump's agenda than Michael Moore, no? I never was a big conspiracy theory person, but this "New World Order" thing looks more conclusive every day. Jmo.
  11. I can after having seen every college game he has ever played. AJ is big. He can move but isn't extremely mobile. He is very smart and doesn't rattle. He is a very hard worker; Coach Saban really made him earn his spot. There is speculation that there was some uneasiness between AJ and Saban. Coach Saban did not attend his wedding, and I have heard that AJ felt as if the coach didn't sell him enough before the draft. There is no way to confirm this. His arm isn't a complete cannon but it is strong enough, probably a bit better than average. He has lost very few games in his entire life going back to high school. He seems quite grounded; I would be shocked if he gets in trouble off the field. He wasn't drafted until the 24th pick of round 5 of the 2014 draft. I said it then and say it now: The Bills were insane to not draft him. Absolutely bush league. The team that he beat ND with for the title had the best OL I have ever seen on a college team and a great ground game. He did have every tool. Make no mistake, I am admittedly partial. That said, I have very high hopes for AJ. Do I want the Bills to draft a 1st round qb? Yes. I also want them to concentrate heavily on drafting blockers for both AJ and whatever rookie we draft. Exciting times indeed. ROLL TIDE!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I am a huge Crimson Tide fan. I am not saying that AJ is great, but he is a winner, and a good player to have on the team. We are not talking about EJ Manuel here. Make no mistake, there are qbs in this draft that I would love to select as well, but McCarron (imo) is WAY better than you think.
  13. Ugly indeed. I think that McCarron's price tag will go up in light of that sad list. Please post us pictures of all the hotter women than her that you are in contact with in any way, shape or form. I am not counting magazine pictures.
  14. Wow, I hope you are correct!!!
  15. Do you really think that Darnold won't be taken at #1? I sure have been wrong before but I can't see this happening under any circumstances. Jmo.
  16. Doc, that is SO not where I was going, I might delete the post!!! I was being 100% sarcastic. Beane and McDermott accumulated all of these picks and I laud praise upon them for doing so. It's what I always wanted for the team. Whaley otoh was like a very bad nightmare. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  17. Nice! That is easy to get to.
  18. You are wrong. It is GREAT to move up and carelessly give away draft picks. Signed, Doug Whaley
  19. Just an opinion but I think that Rosen sinks in the draft and might make it to the area of 10 or 12.
  20. Daboll was not to blame kd. Remember, Tua didn't come in until the 2nd half of the last game. Hurts is a great kid but he is not a great passer. Trust me, I have seen every play he was in since his arrival in Tuscaloosa.
  21. I'm not sure but I'm going to look into it. There are haters galore, but also a surprising number of Tide Fans in NYC/Long Island. In fact, lots of kids from the area are attending Alabama. The school has risen in prominence. It seems to have replaced Delaware as a desired destination for non-Ivy Long Island kids.
  22. I have no issues with your entire post until the last sentence. I find the first 2 paragraph to be quite interesting and thought provoking. Lots of interesting theories in this thread. Yes DB put I think (not sure) that this speech was given in Ohio. He mentioned the auto workers specifically and praised President Trump from the onset of his talk. Moore (as I'm sure you know) won a lot of Rust Belt hearts a long time ago from "Roger and Me." He HAD to know that he was getting votes for President Trump. PS: After the elections he all but called for civil disobedience in an attempt to win back his radical base. Are you suggesting that you believe the polls?
  23. I am admittedly partial but imo McCarron has more potential than the two you mention.
  24. Agreed. I have no issue with him working to improve in camp.
