Go Bills!!!

Didn’t realize how epic those were until later. Loved those old drafts though! Used to be “sick” from school to watch!

Bills Related Draft News & Discussion

Yes. Feel we will pick in the first round, may move up using our draft capital or a player. -
Kinda love how Rozelle would have a dramatic pause before naming the player!

Love the draft grades! 😂 Can’t truly grade until after the season, and mostly a few years down the road. Yeah, wheeling and dealing and getting prospects who are graded high is great..getting prospects who are busts isn’t. Regardless, love the draft and get caught up in the hype every time!

That was awesome!! Pumped!!

Watch around 1 with beer and tacos… Round 2 my son is coming over for some homemade pizza and some brews. Round 3 watch the whole thing… Love watching the draft! Find it cool seeing who goes where and the trades. Also like the Commish bear hugs from the players! Toss him around like a rag doll. 😆

Anyone else still hate Bon Jovi enough to continue the boycott?

Yeah. Need to proofread better! My artist I saw that was exceptional after not being the best fan?? Billy Idol! Saw a few years ago. Wholly smokes! So freaking good! Steve Stevens on guitar was amazing! -

Fixed. Didn’t write it the way I wanted. Those bands were some of the MTV darlings who were actually good. And had more staying power outside MTV than Bon Jovi in my opinion. -

Yea, product of the MTV generation for sure. And like I had mentioned, product of the Jersey “rock scene” at the time…mostly consisting of Bruce with bon jovi, and to a lesser extent John Cafferty (played the music for Eddie and the Cruisers). Bon Jovi had catchy tunes, but not the chops to have a real career beyond the MTV influence. Don’t like his music. Doesn’t have the staying power as even some of the marginal acts out of the 80’s and I guess early 90’s. Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, Motley Crue and even Poison to name a few were much better then Bon Jovi, even outside of the MTV effect. -
Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
davefan66 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Depends on what the expectations are. if it’s 2nd string, yes it may alter the draft. If it’s a true “prove it” contract? Then no. They will let him prove his worth in camp and possibly preseason if he makes it that far. -

For some reason, not surprised. And happy for it! He is entering his 9th season only. Seems like more than that. -

Not a fan of his music. Don’t believe he would have been famous if not for his “Jersey” ties when Bruce was huge. Not a fan of his interest in the Bills. So double whammy. -
What is your favorite serendipitous draft story?
davefan66 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love the Elway drama. As one of the first years I watched the draft, it helped make me more interested in the draft. Also, the Manning/Rivers draft. Not really draft, but related. Jim Kelly leaving Buffalo at the alter… Jim Kelly in town to sign after the draft. Bruce Allen of the USFL calls the Bills offices and the secretary gives the call to Kelly’s agent and tells him not to sign. Jim leaves and the rest is history. I do believe his years in the USFL helped make him a better NFL QB, specially in the K Gun. -
I don’t see a move up to the top 5. Mostly because of the cap hit now, and in 5 years. Here is a list of rookie contracts: Rookie scales I have no issue using draft capital to move up, or trade for an available veteran. No way we use every available draft pick we have this year. No room for 10 drafted rookies, along with any undrafted players.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
davefan66 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Drove by for the first time since the end of last season. Wow. A lot of work done. Place is massive! Didn’t realize how close it is to Abbott road. Always loved The Ralph, but it looks downright puny and like a relic in comparison. Obviously, The Ralph being built in a hole versus the new stadium makes it look smaller. Certainly looking forward to the new stadium! -
Patriots. Adding Vrabel is huge for them. Hate to say they won’t be punching bags for some time.
