  1. Who cares? Buffalo would never be on the radar to host an Olympics by itself. Regardless, there's so many good events in the Summer Olympics that Buffalo would host something cool.
  2. Very interesting idea. Instead of pissing away hundreds of millions on venues that will not be used again, spend it on bridges and trains that are needed and will open up commerce.
  3. No, just a lazy, d-bag reporter trying to get Schumer to do his job for him. Like him or not, the whole point of what Schumer is trying to do is give the Bills more options to finance stadium upgrades and also put some public pressure on Ralph to use the G4 loan program.
  4. Not sure how anyone who wants the Bills to stay in Buffalo can have a problem with what Schumer is trying to do. By going public with this, it forces Ralph and the Bills to put in their own money and use the G-4 program for stadium improvements once the NFL amends the rules specifically for the Bills. How bad will Ralph look if NFL amends its rules specifically for the Bills and Ralph turns around and asks NYS taxpayers to fund all or the majority of the upgrades?
  5. "Everyone else has a lot more negative things to say about our receiving corps than I do. I have a lot of confidence in our receiving corps and what we will be able to do. Having people that have been out there, been in the games and been on the same page with (Ryan Fitzpatrick) really is going to pay dividends for us I believe. T.J. Graham struggled because he has just not been in the system. He just needs to learn the system. He has a lot of talent. Everybody else has been on the same page and it has been good." Hate to be a downer, but I thought it was kind of strange that Gailey singled Graham out for struggling.
  6. Sounds like Quick wasn't a consideration in Round 2. Replace Quick with Hill and you're probably right about the 4 they targeted in the 2nd round. Maybe even Randle instead of Upshaw.
  7. Obviously Wide Right tops them all, Music City Miracle next, then Ronnie Harmon playoff game
  8. Merriman, Kelsay, Edwards, and Johnson are all scheduled to make in the $4m range this year as back-ups. Can't see more than 2 of them making the team. Carrington and Troupe probably get another year, and the team seems to like Heard too. My guess is Edwards is definitely gone and Johnson will have to take a pay-cut. Probably gotta keep Kelsay around because you can't rely on Merriman to play a whole season, but Kelsay is probably making $3m more here than he would for any other team.
  9. Why would Bills cut him now? Guys get hurt all the time in OTA's and training camp. Must have been money related. Maybe freeing up some money for a Vince Young signing or a Fred extension.
  10. Even if you think Fitz is legit, QB is the weakest position on the team right now. Gailey needs more talent to work with there. If Young is ready to work hard and pay his dues, sign him up. Actually somewhat excited about this. No one is giving Young a starting job or even chance to compete for one, and he's still young enough to re-gain his old form. Can't see the Bills wasting their time with bringing him in and the attention that comes with it unless they were serious about signing him.
  11. How can you not feel bad for Cousins? No matter how well he plays in camp and pre-season games or how bad Griffin plays, he has no shot of playing the next 2+years unless Griffin gets hurt. The guy has no shot to compete for playing time and it's not even like he's learning behind an experienced, bonafide NFL QB. Shanahan basically ruined a kid's career with his own arrogance/stupidity.
  12. Interesting how Nix said that Glenn was a consideration at #10 if the draft fell a certain way. Made it seem like we had Gilmore rated very highly and were happy he fell to #10. Also, Hill and Jeffrey were the WR's that went right after our pick, so I assume we had high grades on those guys too.
  13. I actually thought his highlights were impressive. He got by his man routinely. Saw 3 pass interence penalties in 3 games where his man had to grab him or he wouldve had a TD. His 85 yard TD against Cincy was Victor Cruz-like against the Jets. He didn't look that strong but also didn't shy away from contact either. Also not as small as I thought he'd be. If he gains a little strength, guy could be a dynamic receiver.
  14. If things aligned perfectly, my guess is buddy's preference would've been Barron, Glenn, Randle, and Cousins with our first 4 picks.
  15. Based on need, gotta hope that Fleener, Jenkins, Worthy, Upshaw, Still, Curry, Branch, and the highly rated Guards and Center come off board before our pick. I'd be happy with Glenn or David at #41.
  16. I agree with this, but the teams in front of us know they can probably get a good WR in the 3rd round too. Might mean a run on OT's before our pick.
  17. Short of Kalil, Claiborne, or Blackmon dropping to 10, Gilmore dropping was probably best scenario for Bills. Bills probably take Gilmore over Kuechly, Tannehill, and maybe even Barron. Judging by how the rest of the draft went, Floyd was probably the only other consideration at #10. Also looks like Bills won't have to reach for an OT or WR at #41.
  18. Going for #4 to #3 under old trade chart was worth 400 points. Cleveland only gave up the equivalent of 100 points.
  19. 1. Griffin 2. Luck 3. Richardson 4. Kalil 5. Claiborne 6. Blackmon 7. Cox 8. Barron 9. Gilmore 10. Kuechly
  20. Good analysis. None of these rumors are that much of a stretch. They're all pretty believable and could all be true.
  21. I think Bills truly like Barron and would take him at #10, but prefer trading down and are telling Cowboys and Eagles that Barron isn't gonna be there for them at #14 or #15 unless they trade up.
  22. No. That's too much to move up 3 spots where supposedly everyone after the Indy and Washington is trying to trade down. I do it for a 3rd rounder.
  23. He states that he's not trying to be right, just going by his evaluation of players(not taking into account off-the-field issues) and team needs. I like getting a different opinion than all the regurgitated stuff out there.
  24. Love getting original opinions on these guys from people who actually watch hours of film. Interesting he's that high on Gilmore. Comment on WR being more important than LT for Bills also very interesting.
