  1. I guess I'm going against the grain here, but I don't have as much of a problem with Rex as others. We're .500 with high-priced bums like Clay and Dareus and a bottom 5 QB. Give Rex a legit starting QB and clear out the bums. I think Whaley and the front office are the bigger problem and we're not getting anybody better than Rex in our current situation of another rebuild.
  2. Serious question... is Taylor incapable of playing at a faster pace? He's definitely improving into a legit starting QB with the exception that he is one of the worst at running a 2 minute offense. Maybe the coaches want him playing that way, but he just doesn't look capable/comfortable snapping the ball without looking at the defense for at least 10-15 seconds.
  3. Season is over and Rex is dead man walking. Problem is you have 14 games left and a lot of high priced veterans who will be looking to avoid injury (honestly I can't really blame them). I'd probably get rid of Whaley soon or at least bring in a Polian or Wolf to evaluate the organization and start trading veteran players who aren't going to be part of the future. Come January, we have to know what direction we want to go in Coaching and GM wise. Look at the Jets last year. They went from a Rex 4-12 clown show to 10-6 the next year.
  4. Don't think he lasts the year.
  5. 2016 Bills = 2014 Jets. Rex is dead mean walking. Whaley has to go too. He can find some talent but doesn't know how to build a team.
  6. Go get Anthony Davis. Looks like 49ers are ready to move on. 26 year old RT who played for Roman. Maybe Whaley is waiting to pounce after he gets cut.
  7. Our preseason games just got a lot more interesting.
  8. We need a mofo at safety/LB that can cover and put some fear into pass catchers, but wouldn't rule out a QB in 2nd round. Ragland seems too similar to Preston Brown.
  9. Incognito bet paid off, but not sure I'd trade much for a guy who basically quit.
  10. I'd assume if he falls past 10 or 11, he really is damaged goods and we wouldn't take him at 19.
  11. Tebow comparison is ridiculous. Hogan is closer to rivers than tebow and he isn't that close to rivers. QB is such an important position that I'd use one of the 4th rounders on him, even if he only becomes a competent backup because we don't have one of those right now.
  12. Buckeye draft - Lee, Braxton Miller, cardale jones first 3 picks.
  13. Can't see Cleveland trading up in any round. They are in rebuild mode and need all the picks they can get.
  14. Wouldn't surprise me if Browns trade down again from #8, and that the Bills would be potential partner if Jack is still available at #8. For all the picks Browns got for trading down from #2, they didn't get an extra 2nd rounder this year.
  15. If we traded up to #2 for a non-QB in this draft, we'd be entering the Cleveland-level of NFL laughingstock.
  16. With all the DL talent in this draft, can't see Bills using pick #19 on one. If they could trade back with Denver, pick #31 would probably be a sweet spot for a guy like nkemdiche. If Bills can't find trade partner, I think they go with one of the OT's at #19.
  17. Have a feeling Bills aren't gonna be able to help themselves from over-drafting Braxton Miller. Gadget type guy that Rex loves.
  18. Can't see a team trading all those picks for a guy who started a season and a half at an FCS school. Goff seems like a better fit for LA and has 3 years starting at a major conference under his belt.
  19. I agree with this. Can't see how you'd put all this pressure in LA on a kid from North Dakota.
  20. Is a bit peculiar that this Bills/Browns/Broncos trade rumor originated on the same day that the Rams/Titans deal was finalized. No doubt that Titans pulled the trigger this early knowing that teams could've essentially iced them out of trade discussions by going directly to Cleveland assuming Titans wouldn't take a QB at #1.
  21. Kid from North Dakota gonna be able to handle LA?
  22. Yes. A team that hasn't made playoffs in 17 years and needs more than just solid QB play to get over the hump is in a different place than a Super Bowl champ who won with mediocre/solid QB play. Not saying you trade Taylor, but also don't think he'll ever be a top 10 franchise type QB. Maybe Bills think Lynch can be that guy. Here's another hypothetical... Would Bills win any less games with Fitz at QB next year than Taylor?
  23. I don't care about 3 years ago. Kaepernick has been awful the past 2 years and is paid like an upper echelon QB. Taylor is better on field, better in locker-room, and significantly cheaper. Broncos have Super Bowl team. All they need is smart, winning QB. They'd be stupid not too offer their 1st and 2nd rounder for Taylor. Only way I trade Taylor is if Bills love QB who they can get #19. Bills can afford to develop a QB for a year or 2. Denver can't.
  24. If Lynch is available at #19, things are probably going to get very interesting.
