  1. Isn’t he coming off an injury? Could be reason he’s in town for a physical.
  2. He’d be an elite gadget guy and returner if he’s come around to accepting that’s who he is.
  3. Geez. Way to screw your own guy over and release him when a lot of the big money has already been spent.
  4. I think people gonna be shocked how little we paid to get him. My guess is $1.5m base plus incentives.
  5. We gonna roll teams in pre-season.
  6. Roseman is a wanker. Just like Wentz deal, this deal will get done. Gotta let Howie hem and haw until he realizes he’s not getting anything better.
  7. Why would Houston trade him now? Maybe if he clears his name. This would be like trying to sell your house while awaiting the results if it sits on top of a nuclear waste dump.
  8. Does seem like he’d be a really nice fit with Moss. Singletary can fill the Yeldon role. He’s still cheap and RB’s get hurt a lot.
  9. Highly doubt Moss or Singletary would scare him away. Almost every team in the League has better RB’s than those 2.
  10. It’s a lot more simple than you’re making it. There’s a $7.5m guaranteed option bonus that the Bills could either take the cap hit on entirely in 2021 or spread over the next 4 years. The Bills were clearly gonna exercise the option to spread the cap hit over 4 years so Spotrac had the bonus spread over 4 years in their numbers before the exercise date. The original tweet that started this thread confused everyone.
  11. He’s still speedy right? We do need a RB who can get to the edge.
  12. Not surprised this thread has turned into a cesspool. It’s actually possible to view the allegations with skepticism but also hear the alleged victims out.
  13. No thanks to Everett. We already have a guy with talent and questionable hands.
  14. It creates no cap space in 2021. The original post implied it did. Spotrac had it in their numbers already. That’s what everybody’s going off of unless you have access to the NFL’s official cap numbers.
  15. Very curious as to what Carolina is up to. They still have a lot of cap space. They restructured mccaffrey to create even more. Makes no sense to do that unless you’re gonna use that space this year. They still have over $30m in cap space. They let Samuel walk. There’s not many high ticket free agents still available. 🤔🤔
  16. Maybe for the official number kept by the NFL, but spotrac assumed the Bills would exercise this for the last couple months. But it could also be the reason Feliciano didn’t sign his contract until today because for the official NFL number that $15m in cap space didn’t hit until today.
  17. Right. So it’s already been accounted for because there’s no way the Bills were taking the full cap hit in 2021. Non-story.
  18. Addison and Butler probably wouldn’t have got as much as Jefferson just did. Their pay cuts most likely amounted to raises if they’d gotten cut.
  19. it’s very confusing. What is there to exercise if the option bonus was guaranteed when they signed?
  20. No way White had a $20m cap hit before this and Dawkins had a $18m cap hit. Also says the option bonus was guaranteed at signing. So not sure what the option was actually for. The original tweet looks wrong.
  21. Spotrac shows the option as guaranteed for both of them. Not sure I understand the mechanics at play here.
  22. Makes you think Bills didn’t give him or Brown the option to take a pay cut.
  23. Thule was his college coach.
  24. Mack’s cap hit this year if traded would be $1.275m to his new team. That’s also the only money that’d have to be paid to him this year by his new team. That’s not a typo. The Bears converted his salary to a bonus to get under the cap. Unless Pace is trying to sabotage his way out of town, Mack isn’t going anywhere.
  25. Where are you seeing this? The only number that counts is the one kept by the NFL, not spotrac or over the cap.
