    McDermott is just pissed that now he has to change all the “Everybody Eats” signage around the building and the printer is locked up in Beane’s office.

    All those years of Jauron and Marrone kicking figgies instead of going for TDs, while fans were begging them to not try another FG attempt. And yet, fans are still begging them to not kick figgies, because eventually one of Bass’s shanks is gonna knock out someone on the sidelines.

    I learned he is still open to making more trades before the deadline. That was good to hear. I feel like he’s as transparent as he can be under the circumstances. He also does a good job answering 12-part questions. Those guys don’t know how to ask a simple question without rambling on and on and asking about three different subjects in the process.

    And why aren’t they running 2 QBs? Trubisky throwing to JA17; he’s too fast for LBs and too big for CBs and Ss. No brainer. Apparently that’s what our coaches are.

    LOL…that easy to draft a sure thing? The guys that can step in and start immediately as a rookie are not a dime a dozen. Torrence did, but he plays a position where it’s easier to do that. Bishop needs more than 6 games to become a starter. Doesn’t mean it’s a failed pick.

    Defense is giving up chunk yards and explosive plays with abandon. McDermott isn’t going to play a guy that hasn’t gotten his assignments down as yet. However, Bishop seemed to get better last week as the game went on, so that was encouraging. But Rapp is back so Bishop goes to the bench, and Rapp showed against the Jets that is the right move.

    Just goes to show how much better this trade is and how Beane is making good in season decisions on trades. Pretty stark difference between the two 3rd round receiver trades.

    Congratulations in advance! Prayers for a healthy Mom and baby. Fatherly advice: read books, take classes and educate yourself on parenting. It’s the best gift you can give your children. I wish I had done it!
