  1. The Bills have yet to beat a team that's played a good/great game against us this year. We need other teams to utterly fail in order to win. That goes back to last year's win against GB.
  2. I was thinking specifically in terms of teams that came into existence after the Bills. There are now only 6 teams that predate (or are contemporaries of) the existence of the Bills that have not won a Super Bowl (Cardinals, Lions, Browns, Titans (Oilers), Chargers, Eagles). That's sad.
  3. I remember him hitting Shady over the middle on 3rd down for a 1st down. I thought Tyrod has done a pretty good job this year so far. He's a first year starter, and as a back-up in Baltimore behind a QB who seldom was hurt, Tyrod probably didn't get many practice reps the past 4 years. He's not a franchise guy yet, but he's better than Fitz was for us, and everybody that has preceded him up to Flutie.

  5. Don't forget Miami (1966 entry)
  6. Actually, I kind of expected a loss, but was pleasently surprised. However, it was just the first of a series of "must-wins", due to their inability to play consistent winning football during the earlier portion of the schedule. So, as of last week, they had won a meaningful game - but it was only meaningful if they won out. Unfortunately, it was rendered meaningless by today's loss, because they had to win out and failed.
  7. He has shown more than I think anyone could have reasonably expected. Need to see progress next year though. You draft a viable QB every chance you get, regardless of the round or year. If you believe in him, take him.
  8. Meaningless........after today.
  9. A long history of lousy coaching choices. The last coach they had that was any good got fired, as were their last two good GMs. It appears Pegula may have continued that trend.
  10. I've often thought that the Bills should be directional punting in general. But I recently heard a radio interview with Pat McAfee, the Colts punter, about kicking out of bounds. His response was to the effect that there are incredibly gifted athletes coming after the punter and there's not enough time to angle the kick - he said you just have to get the kick off. Now, maybe he's a particularly poor directional kicker, but he's pretty open, so I would expect him to have just said that outright. So, what he said must have some truth to it. Pat is on the Bob and Tom radio show every Tuesday. Bob and Tom is a nationwide program from Q95 in Indy, airing from 6 to 10 ET. Really funny stuff - it's on 105.9 in Syracuse and on the web/Tunein, iHeart radio etc.
  11. I like where you are going with this! In fact, from 1990 to 1993, we made the Super Bowl every year. See where I'm headed with this! CHAMPIONSHIP!
  12. To allow Jay to play, I will comfort his wife
  13. When exactly did crayonz buy out Fergy's screen name?
  14. I thought you were going to say "pee in the sink".
  15. I hereby appoint The Dean for the plaintiff and DC Tom for the defendant. Go!
  16. Weren't Gilmore and Brooks both injured at that time? Also, who better to go for a jump ball without causing interference (I'm lookin at you McLovin) than a WR?
  17. You mean "wheeling" them out??
  18. I thought I saw a stat that the Bills are leading, or among the leaders, in TDs scored outside the red zone this year. Even though Sammy isn't a fantasy league All-Star, his YAC and targets don't seem to be the biggest issues the Bills have - or even top 5.
  19. You can save photos and other data to icloud, but that's not always a certainty. My iphone 5 bounced out of its holder during a bike ride and eventually died. When I went to restore my stuff from the cloud, it pulled in an old version of my backup and I lost a lot of contacts and calendar entries. So, it's not fail-safe. I do a weekly manual backup of my photos to my laptop manually. That way I can also save them to an external hard drive and regardless of what happens to my phone, I have the photos and videos of my grandkids, which are priceless.
  20. Based on this, there may be soimething to your conspiracy theory.... http://osxdaily.com/2010/05/23/humor-steve-jobs-bill-gates-have-a-chat/
  21. That's more like an observation that is irrelevant to the original comments between two posters, but OK
  22. That's what DVRs are for! If it's nice, we'll probably be outside and DVR the game here too.
  23. Thank you. She is beautiful in every way. This pic was taken last year and I just came across it today.
  24. Full Disclosure: this is my granddaughter
