McD speaks a good game. He says all the right things that a Coach is supposed to say. But if you’re always going to say “it starts with me” and supposedly take accountability for the misnomers and mistakes, if you really mean that then you have to make changes with how you operate. What changes has he made besides firing coaches? We are still seeing the same soft coverage on short pass plays. We are still seeing four down lineman on obvious short run plays. We saw him neuter Josh. If it starts with you, you have to change your method of operation. The 9/11 story people are making a hullabaloo about is the least concern I’d have for him as coach. How about be more concerned by a stat like this… This season the Bills have lost 6 games by 6 points or less in the first 12 weeks of the season. In the history of the nfl only 20 other teams have matched that total. One of the most recent teams to do that?? The 2012 Carolina Panthers. Any idea who their D coordinator might have been that season?? Which proves he DOESNT CHANGE! You can’t consider yourself “accountable” if all you do is say “I take responsibility”or “it all starts with me”. You have to actually modify your behaviors and patterns and actually change your ways.

People keep saying stuff about Josh’s off-season being lazy or lackluster. What did he do (or not do)? What has he stated about this publicly? Did McD address it at any point?

How do you keep a guy that loses every clutch momentum??? Before that 3rd and 4 play I kept yelling that the DB’s were backing off… WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU CALL A COVERAGE DROPPING OFF 7 to 8 YARDS WHEN ALL THEY NEED IS 4?????????? IM A DUMB ZILCH WHO PLAYS MADDEN AND EVEN I SAW THAT COMING. How many more times do we have to see this happen??? McD is the problem.

I’ll tell you one thing that won’t work… PUTTING ONLY 4 DLINEMEN ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. McD (and Frazier before him) refuses to add extra dline men for some unknown god forsaken reason. It’s astonishing.

As if these dumb “sideline reports” weren’t useless enough, now we can assume they are all fabricated anyway. Honestly, what would be missing in game if those gals weren’t around? Quite frankly, football doesn’t need women involved in anyway to thrive. Football without cheerleaders, without these “sideline reporters” and desk hosts would be no different.

That whole Quinton Spain situation has always confused me. They signed him to a pretty substantial extension and within a few games he was released. Clearly he has an issue with McDermott. Does anybody know the details behind that story?

Is this a joke?? Keep Frazier???? What could be done differently?? Oh gee, I don’t know, how about not playing base nickel EVERY PLAY for starters?! On 3rd and 2 or 4th and 1 plays using a ***** nose tackle or at the very least 5 lineman to stop the run. Or have the line do stunts and twists instead just going straight ahead EVERY PLAY. How about not playing soft zone 95% of the time?! Not having your safety’s retreat 30 yards on obvious short pass plays?! I’ve said all this for 3 seasons now. The bills D was ranked high in spite of Frazier, not because of him. Dude is a bum who shows no emotion or pizazz. No energy. The team played with that same attitude (or lack there of) yesterday. Last off season I wanted desperately for some dumb team to buy into his “top 3 d” credentials and hire him as HC to rid us of him. But no team was idiotic enough to do it. His bend but don’t break, soft, one dimensional scheme doesn’t work when it matters. And he makes ZERO adjustments in game. He’s got to go! His defensive mentality during the 13 seconds play epitomizes that bum. It’s a microcosm of him as DC here. He should have been fired then. Now that age and injury caught up to some guys, the facade is gone. Offenses figured out how to beat this teams defense. And because he never makes any adjustments, there was no way this team can stop quality offenses.
