Blasphemy Doc! but they need to be from right place..ie not anyplace in the Inner Harbor, and from a legit place that uses only Jumbo Lump and just a scooch of binder...and most important using only fresh, non-pasteurized Blue Crab from the Bay...none of this crap Crab from Vietnam that Phillips packages up andsells -

That dog sure don't hunt in the States...cant believe a CEO would use undocumented meetings as a basis for termination, especially without documented performance improvement goals that were not met. Lawsuit waiting to happen in the states, even in so called "right to work " states. In terms of tests, I am looking at a new position and had to take a verbal assessment the other day...I had never heard of a subjective verbal assessment. They started with some basic demographic information, and then asked my birthday...and I was floored. I mean here they are asking subjective questions. I am not exactly a spring chicken anymore, and told the recruiter holy moly are they opening themselves up to an age discrimination suit if my assessment came back negative. I can see in a written, objective test, bias does not matter. But subjective answers and age involved???? -

Please God no...on both Shattenkirk and Alzner. I have never understood the love for Shattenkirk. Now, that is based more on seeing him in playoffs more than the regular season, and assuming he gets 6yr x $7m...not interested. Alzner I like a bit more, but again depends on the term and money. -

John, not so worried about the exact player....but was asking about this statement. Deals made due to worries about losing a player to the expansion draft by definition would have to involve an asset going back that does not have to be protected correct? So forget Kane as part of that equation...and if yo want a top 4 guy has to involve Reinhart or Nylander, and I think a little sweetener on top. so then you say...well they cant trade picks. How many and what picks would it take to get Vatanen? Lets say its two ones just for the sake of argument. Anaheim still is going to have to expose one of the 2 guys left they don't want to lose. Let's say they make a trade with Vegas and Vegas agrees not to take...still have 1 exposed. So does it not come down to would they make that same trade in a non-expansion year? Guess i am just trying to understand why everyone keeps saying there is gong to be an unprecented level of movement due to the expansion draft, and i just do not see it. -

Saints only had like $3.1m when they signed Byrd...if they want him that bad, they can find a way -
so i should rephrase and say " i will bring the burner and the metal pot, and our collective anxiety about the Bills is sky high so please have your dispensary supply Hammers with the pot that matters!

As the old sign says..."i cook with wine, and sometimes some even ends up in the food " . I cook just about every night of the week unless we are going out(most Fridays), have a beer or two while prepping and cooking, as does the wife sitting at the island where i am prepping, and its the time we spend together during the day. I am lucky though as work out of the house, have a gazillion grocery stores with 15 minutes, and pretty much decide that morning what i want for dinner and then get it that day.

I have been noodling over this lately, namely the expansion draft leading to more players being available. I think i am looking at it the wrong way, as i dont see that being the case. Let's take Anaheim. Everyone says they have to go the 7-3 route as they will lose to valuable a forward like Silfverberg if they go 4-4. So they need to trade one of the D men so they don't lose them for nothing in return. I get all that. But then they have to trade for an asset that does not need to be protected, like a Reinhart or Nylander. And still, they will have to expose one of their talented D to the expansion draft. So they lose one of the D anyway, and that's all they can lose..and maybe have a guy they do not find as valuable as the guy they picked up. My head is running in circles here trying to figure this out...someone smarter than me help me out? -
from first picture...it is a "yes"

Awesome...I will bring the pot and burner!

I am fine either way...rearranging the deck chairs. Want more goals, just enforce the rules on the books. Good lord, the cross-check to the head of Malkin last night, after the whistle, directly in front of the ref, not called..no way they calling a little ole interference anymore. BTW, i love Jeremy Whites suggestion that instead of losing your timeout on a failed off offside challenge, you are accessed a 5 minute PP. I would be okay even if it is like a conventional powerplay, and you can only score 1...but good God something has to happen with that call. -

Ya know...there is a search button on this site...wonder what it does? -
Just a question. Let's say Tex gets fired from ESPN for this silliness... what happens with the offset ? Does TPEGS then have to eat the whole contract again?

High ABV, bad for me!!! I drink em just like low ABV beers, with the expected result! I drink liquor at the same rate as beer too ..hence why i tend to stay with the beer outside an occasional Manhattan or Hendricks and Tonic! Now, had a sour IPA this weekend from Devils Backbone/Parkway Brewing, Sixth Circle Sour IPA...did not like. Not tart enough for a sour, not hoppy enough for an IPA.. the worst of both styles

Chef, some of these Saison use just a hint of the fruit/vegtable/critter to give the Saison a nice flavor. Afterall, Saison is at its heart "Farmhouse Ale using ingredients of of the season" For instance, I hate almost 100% of Pumpkin Beers, love the Pumpkin Hardywood Saison". Also love the Saison DuBuff from Dogfish..brewed with Parsley, Sage , Rosemary and Thyme. Plus i dislike Gin for the most part, but my wife is getting me hooked on Hendricks and the strong cucumber flavor in that!

McKenzie says Lehner could be in play along with Kane. Interesting. Wonder if Ole Cal is saying he goes, I will sign. He stays at north of $4m, I hit FA. https://twitter.com/davedavishockey/status/871745802825347074 -

For DC inside the beltway, a $1m budget for a professional couple in the early 30's seems about right, and imagine that is the case in several urban areas in the US. Now, I think it would be hard in almost any profession outside of a tech startup cash out or big swinging Wall Street Richard to have $750K in cash at that age , so inheritance or just rich parents I am sure came into play. And why someone would want to buy a house cash is just beyond me, makes very little financial sense with money at 3.5%...unless the money was a gift and no mortgage was going to be got!

BBB , first , best of luck with the " health related thing" . Hope it is not serious. Have you clicked the express deals in Priceline? Been on Hotwire? Hotel Tonight can sometimes be okay, but I have much better luck on Priceline

The fix it shows are always the ones that get me on budget. They talk about redoing a kitchen for $10-$20k....guess if the labor is free you can do a new kitchen for $20k. BTW , my brother in law's house was on a house hunter episode, one of the homes that did not get picked. They came to record his house a good two months after the folks had bought another house, and my BIL had decided to stay and remodel. They just did not show the areas where thy had stated the remodel.

Not worth A new thread, but a box of Fluite Flakes was very prominent on Silicon Valley last night. Have no idea why.
