Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22

Thought can only take one player from a team. -
The Kroger near us is the absolute Pits...i mean just awful. But they have no competition within 15 minutes, so they get to be crappy. We went in there last night at 7 PM to get some stuff for dinner, looked like a Russian supermarket in 1983..or day before a 4 inch snow storm here...and that happens twice a week seems like.

I would have protected Carrier instead of Ennis...but think that is splitting hairs. Guess the thought on Ullmrak is Fleury is expected to be taken and actually stay and be the starter. -
Agreed! And Augie, be careful what you getting from Kroger in terms of seafood...especially their farm raised shrimp. Kroger, at least here in Richmond, for the most parts just takes the frozen fish from their shelves, thaws it out, and then sells from the case. Now, no worries on frozen, as a matter of fact, i prefer it except for fish from the Cheasapeake.. But I would rather buy the frozen and then thaw when I am ready, as opposed to maybe buying the fish that was thawed yesterday or day before.

But those trades would be made anyway in any year... those chucklehead "experts" all claimed massive amounts of movement before the lists were submitted...and we essentially got zero trades related to the expansion draft... -
I know right...my saying is quite similiar...if you ever see a town you're visiting having a NASCAR race or National Farm Machinery and Tractor Pull , get the hell out of town as fast as possible and go to a town having a pride weekend...pride weekend will be way more fun

Am I to understand correctly that this is it in regards to trades before the expansion draft? No trades from now to the draft correct? I know folks may have traded picks to Vegas to ly off certain guys or take certain guys, but in terms of trades involving all non-expansion teams...thats it???? Really NcKenzie, Dreger, and Friedmen...this is going to be the craziest offseason ever??? Maybe I am missing something, and I had a feeling there would be little movement and stated that loudly in the other thread, but damn these guys were way off. So now we wait till July 1 I am guessing to see if Kane gets traded for a D Man. -
Need help finding/selecting a Lawnmower

yall live in Atlanta no? Man, you going to have to use half of Lake Lanier to keep that stuff alive through July and August. -
You stay safe too!!!! have a great time!

Ended up in Short North and ate at Pearl...fantastic food, reasonable price, great neighborhood. Stroll around the neighborhood gave me plenty of ideas for the next couple times we are here. Back in August to move her in, and back the first week in October for Parents day. BTW, cool to see all the places in both Arena District and Short North opening at 9 today to pregame the parade..awesome job. That parade must be a blast, but we have stuff starting up again at 9 in Granville. Thnks again all for all te great suggestions Mead, if you ain't ever Duck Pinned, you ain't ever bowled.

I read title and thought one major myth 1) Bills only had to beat Stillers and they were in. They needed Jets to lose to Rams, and they were winning when Bills loss went final. Jets rested starters from there as they were in and lost in OT.

Thank you all for the replys. Heading to Pins Mehanical now, spend an hour hour there till 16 year old son gets kicked out. Thanks for that heads up. We will figure out rest of night from there. Pride stuff looks fun, not sure if we get to go as they are done pretty early tonight and we need to be back in Granville at 9 AM TOMORROW. Know we will end up someplace cool and recommended here, will report back in the AM! Thanks again all!

Hs to be part of their strategy of expanding into some brick and mortar presence, and the fact that people who buy overpriced food at Whole Foods will gladly overpay to also have it delivered. http://fortune.com/2017/03/26/amazon-retail-concepts/

Well, maybe welcome some advice. Playing poker with old fat men while in a new town with my family sounds like an ideal evening !!!!

Hey all, but especially YOLO. In Cbus for the first time, arrived around 5 last night. In town taking my daughter to orientation at Denison. Had a great night last night in Arena District and going to Columbus Clippers game. Had a nice run along the river this morning( big creek really), but man they keep that park impeccable, very impressed. The architecture is awesome, has a lot of the art deco features of Downtown Buffalo. We are staying the Hotel LeVeque..just opened..great hotel, the architecture of the building itself is awesome, still working out some kinks. If staying here, try to stay in the 01 rooms, we are in 901 and the room is awesome and big with great views. Overall very impressed, hope the Sabres play some weekend games here so "i can visit my daughter" So here is my question/advice for someone who may know. Son and I will head to Ohio State to wonder around early this afternoon...any one with suggestions of things to do/see there? Next, suggestions for different neighborhood/s to wonder around for happy hour/shopping/ eating out tonight and any particluar restuarants. And unlike a certain food professional on here, I welcome the advice!

Think the Sabres would need to sweeten the pot a bit..I dont think the Hurricanes do that trade straight up. -

Yep...much like Foursquare has become a big data play with insanely valuable information for hedge funds, mutual funds, real estate developers et al, Uber and Lyft have quite valuable information as well -

read something today that the league does not want the trades/deals with Vegas announced until the night of the 21st...that sucks... I want my Oompa Loompa NOW!!!!!!! -
Holy chit...so in your own words he left a BETTER team to go to a lesser team and that means he is not competitive? And I guess it was perfectly fine when the Sonics up and left Seattle to go to OKC showing zero loyalty to entire city and region...but lo and behold a player should play his whole career in one place based on a coin flip of who drafted him!!! And let's not get into what these owners said to the folks of Seatle if you want to go deep on the "not truthful" stuff.

Uber finally coming to Buffalo this summer

I almost exclusively use Lyft, except for the free $15 ride a get with Uber once a month. Just ingrained in me to feel guilty if i did not tip, so tipping is easier in Lyft and thats what I do. I think splitting hairs to tell the differences between the company. While not surprised the CEO needed to be put in time out, I am surprised Holders' Report focused so much on diversity. #1) Its tech in the Valley, every company struggles like hell to hire female and minorities, African Americans in particular. #2) If they are talking about the driving force in the field...well duh it will be majority make workforce, and that ain't ever gonna change ( i did not see if they segmented by field and HQ) The tech bro culture is real, hopefully, some of what Uber is going through can be a catalyst for change to start.
