  1. It's not just the sugar that s in the cereal, it's that the carbs in almost all cereal are instantly turned into sugar once you consume it.
  2. Seaso two of " The Tunnel" is on PBS now..i liked the American version, but this( the original) is better I think.
  3. Tie between 4 growing up Frosted Flakes/ Honeycomb/ Fruit Loops/Apple Jacks Now Frosted Mini Wheats... I love cereal, but try to not eat much anymore...most of it is just awful for you...I am a Plain Greek Yogurt and fruit guy...lord might as well just kill myself now I am so old Ant BTW Teef, almost 100% of cereals are "sugar" cereals https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/food/breakfast-was-the-most-important-meal-of-the-day--until-america-ruined-it/2017/05/12/f1d0e128-368c-11e7-b4ee-434b6d506b37_story.html?utm_term=.7e1c2300fa18
  4. Amazing how many people in this thread think spanking and smacking your kid around is what this guy was talking about..it's not.And it's not about how a 4-year-old acts, it's how a 18-year-old freshman at college reacts to his first time without his parents there to push and help in his classwork, and he gets his first F...do they give up and crumble or do they react and fight harder. it's about expectations and what we are willing to let kids experience..be it success, failure, exploring the world on their own, getting into and out of trouble etc. In other words he is talking helicopter parents.
  5. Interesting Baily is fairly far down the , i was thinking he may get first shot at top 6 forward minutes with a strong camp.
  6. If you be a bored tonight with no sports, this is a great film on it http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/films/blackout/
  7. they have awesome stuff on there from PBS as well, and the original series are really good. I liked best so far TransParent High Castle Sneaky Pete Have not watched most of the others...so they may be good bad...just dont know.
  8. This is really good analysis from Warren Sharp, who is extremely good with analytics and projected win totals etc. He knows you cannot base SOS solely on records, and bases his SOS on projected win totals for this year, totals for run/pass defense etc. some interesting tidbits : 1) Bills have toughest SOS in league after game 1..(again based on his expected win totals for 2017) 2) Last year faced 6th toughest schedule against the run, this year projected to be 18th ( that should be good) 3) Face 3rd toughest schedule of opposing pass offenses 4) KC looks like they could take a big step back...really interesting talk starts around the 18-minute mark. 5) thinks AFC West is overrated --like's the Chargers...not as high on Derek Carr as the rest of the world. really good listen... http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/07-12-warren-sharp-sharp-football-analysis-john-murphy-show-sal-capacciomp3
  9. Yep, and for prolly close to what the Skins were offering him guaranteed last year...smart man.
  10. Lets face it, most of these guys get 3-year deals now, that is what the guarantee covers, but then are stuck in a 6-year deal at the team's option. And Sherman is smart as hell, and he gets the only way for the players to start getting better deals is to not play games. Yes, it will hurt the current players, but long term it is the only way things will change. My understanding was players like Price were getting paid the majority of their contracts as signing bonus, therefor getting paid when there is a lockout or not as their salary may only be $1M or so for the season.
  11. What we don't order on there is dogfood, get that through Chewy. Wife handles that, but damn if that package doesn't get delivered right as the other bag is about out...and I mean very last day of food. I have no idea if that place is cheaper or not than petsmart etc, but the convenience and timing is unreal. And my dogs eat food that ain't available at the Kroger.
  12. you will be like me and it will slowly become to habit to spot something you want in the store pull up the Amazon app and check the price there...and order it from Amazon 7 out of 10 times.
  13. This is an interesting story, and points out the dangers of both sides of the climate debate. On one side, Tangier Island has been eroding for many many years and has lost 2/3 of its land mass since 1850, almost 100% due to erosion. That is being accelerated by rising water levels, and the climate change folks are jumping on this story now to over dramatize the effects of climate change, as if this is something that just started. On the other side, the town and its residents voted heavily for Trump, and now claim rising water levels have zero to do with the problem, it is strictly accelerated erosion. Shocking how they are appealing to Trump to help with fed funds to build a sea wall and screaming at the top of their lungs has zero to due with rising water levels.
  14. you will be amazed how much everyday stuff you start to buy now on Amazon
  15. To be fair, I thought I heard this morning most scientists do/do not attribute this to global warming( they don't know)...and I am a huge believer in human-caused global warming.
  16. Brady stomps on the Steelers just like he does the Bills...and the fans of Pittsburgh hate him as much as we do..so i get the hate they have for him posing with THEIR cup

  19. Moon, been using a variation of that coming and going to the games since the 80's!!!! Last 8 years or so, we tend to stay a lot later and hit no traffic anyway, but when my brother was alive and we needed to get home so his wifey no kick his arse, we used that route a ton..nobody has caught on yet!!!
  20. Hard to know what to do on Samson...big year, you pay more long term. Not so big year, maybe it comes down to him vs Kane or keeping both with a smaller number for Sam.
  21. and make $68M in a career as opposed to $368M Man, pretty easy decision ...but dude would be a beast on the field!
