  1. i think we could have retired at 45 if i cut my booze bill in half from 1989 to 2010
  2. why would they be liable? It's a money grab making the age 15, pure and simple. $100 unaccompanied minor fee minimum...
  3. enough that i never want to think how much i spend on alcohol ...fug you OP
  4. Holy criminy Randee, the kid is 15...i hope he can wipe his own arse by now! Most airlines i think the age is 12..i remember both my kids flying other airlines with connecting flights much younger than 15. This is just United trying to snag another $100 for walking a near freaking adult to a gate..a 10 minute gig.
  5. Hardly ever use a red sause on pasta anymore...usually I am an Olive Oil/Garlic/Black Pepper if pasta is the side. If making a quick red sauce to use on top of a chicken parm , i will brown some garlic, red pepper and shallot in olive oil, throw in a 28oz can of crushed san marzano tomatoes, add a teaspoon of sugar, and let simmer for 30 minutes. Just before adding to dish, will throw in a bunch of julienned fresh basil...pretty damn easy and quick
  6. way better,..agreed ! as long as its with a fat 54 year old season ticket holder from Richmond...i am all good with that headline
  7. My wife's boobies count?
  8. I am not 100% sure of the question, but if the question you refer to is" why does he not have a job" ..I agree relevant question. Fe I do not watch ESPN, so the stories on Kap do not bother me, cause I don't see them. I listen to podcasts Or GR , and those tend not to discuss either. But the point is, 3 pages here in 30 minutes tell me it is a relevant story to many people, including all the folks posting in this thread...no matter what side on " the argument " you are on Agree they will stop when people stop paying attention 1000%, and getting people to watch is at the core of their business
  9. But that's not the rant in this thread...the rant is too much coverage of why he does not have a job and it is not a relevant story...same as saying the Kardashians are not relevant. They may not be to you, but they are too millions and millions of people.
  10. He is not relevant, and yet we have two pages on a Bills message board about him, and. a full, paragraph from you to boot! Reminds me of the great Yogism" nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded"
  11. The Kaepernick story is relevant and should be covered. Dude plays most important position in most important sports league in the US. Should they ignore the story? Having said that all I watch on ESPN is PTI and SC with SVP.
  12. Weird article..the quotes from Manual are at least a couple months old..wonder if this guy wrote the original article cause there is no attribution that I saw in the article. And that is what interests me.(EDIT dummy me, just saw this article was from March 20..man we digging up some old chit here) And I am one who would have like to seen EJ get his whole second season. EJ is one blown interference penalty against Robey as having one of the great comebacks in Bills history.
  13. Thanks , great twitter follow as well
  14. I always think generators are waste of money, till we lose power in the neighborhood and mine is the only house not powered up!
  15. I know right..they bid so much less than everyone else and Boldin is in such high demand..pay him whatever the fug he wants
  16. Murph was describing some kickoff drills...just put the video on the field, no need to see Murph and Brown they can keep yapping 24 needs to put some real pants on over those compressions!
  17. what is the point of this? Listen to Murph and Brown? Isnt Murph on like 8 hours a day already?
  18. So..they keep yapping about stuff instead of showing the actual drills
  19. will smoke it and pull it on Saturday, then reheat on the grill Sunday morning. Will also have a few White Hots and chicken wing dip. Been holding out hope that by drinking Genny at the tailgates good luck would follow(drank 2011 Pats game) but now that 60 minute is in cans...60 minute and Broolklyn summer as beers
  20. No one really knows. Last year Sabres had two main deficiencies.. 1) Blue Line 2) 5-5 Scoring. They have swapped out what looks like at least 3 D, and maybe more if Guhle makes the big club out of camp( I don't think prayer in hell they start him in the NHL though) And many think the reason 5-5 scoring was so bad was awful play in their own zone by the D, lack of good crisp breakouts that lead to scoring chances due to awful D, and lack of any scoring really from the D. If the new D corps can play at least credible and average, the forwards should be able to produce at a level that has them competing for a playoff spot. If D sucks again, prolly talking about the lottery again.
  21. Last year did a Shrimp boil for the opener. I m thinking this year doing South Carolina BBQ Pork Shoulder and my special Chipotle beans pre game, Korean Wings for post game.
  22. Quick question for the gurus...if these guys get seriously hurt in these summer leagues, they still get paid? I assume the teams like them playing , just wonder if the players are taking any kind of risk and payment forfeiture if hurt in an activity not sanctioned by the team
