Any chick flicks that you admit to enjoying?
plenzmd1 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Good to hear, we are going to see tomorrow Been a long time, but loved that movie Great movie, and I would throw in Legally Blonde in same category Not even close to a "chick flick"...just in the running as the greatest movie ever !!! I also don't think of Mean Girls or Pitch Perfect as Chick Flicks, and think both are great. Fever Pitch Crazy Stupid Love My Big Fat Greek Wedding Cheaper By The Dozen Parent Trap Father of the Bride -
Sitting here waiting for my daughters last swim at Champs. She has been swimming since 8, and it's off to college and hopefully getting to see her swim 2-3 times a year as opposed to 2-3 times a month. I rememeber starting a thread in here when she qualified for her first state champs, wondering if I should let her miss the day of school. 10 years and prolly twenty weeks of missed school later, we have come to the end of her age group career. She, and we , have had a great time and made life long friends from swimming. Go to as much of your kids stuff as ya can, can't believe ten years can go by in what seems like 10 months!

Eric, anyone setting up a gofundme or similiar for your friend? Is he stressed over memories and mementoes lost, costs etc? Be more than happy to help if I can -
I think one tour is sufficient for a quick trip. Really awesome place I know for sure you would love , son should as well as long as he likes history , other museums etc. Highly recommend it no matter how little time you can spend there. BTW, is the Enterprise still open? 14 year old boy should line that for at least an hour LOL.

Lot depends on the odds you have to lay , as these bets are not simple losing bet pays 10% vig. For instance , right now on Bills you have to lay $150 to win $100 if you like the Bills over. The under on the other hand is +120. If you are betting these online, shop for best odds much as would do anything else. The odds make many of these bets unplayable if you like the side that the public does, with the Bills a great example of that right now.

You can have my four I think, PM me and I will confirm Sorry, just saw you wanted lowers and 7 -
I think Tex not understanding the situation and punting in OT convinced the Pegulas that Rex was not the right coach moving forward. Had nothing to do with outcome of game, more continued lack of preparation and work effort.

I was not at that game, but have been going to Bills games since the joint opened. Pats week 2 2015 was the loudest I have been to, albeit only for Q1. BTW, the Bills going right down the field to 7-0, then forcing 3 and out..i was convinced it was "our time"

Hammer has some pictures on his Twiiter feed of his neighbors house , might have to be completely rebuilt. BTW, heard the NWS knew it hit in Hamburg and not OP cause we all know no touchdowns in Orchard Park. -
I think Over the Top delivery is scaring the hell out of the traditional providers... I called a couple of months ago and wanted to upgrade two of DVRs..long story came with about a 30% overall reduction is costs, and man did their tune change when I started yapping about going to just Sling and a firestick. Customer value on OTT is about a 1/3rd that of the satellite customers...use it to your advantage.

you canceled Sunday Ticket last year, but kept DTV, and only been a customer two years. I think you will have a tough time, but worth a shot. I think you best tactic may be to ask for retention, say because you dropped Sunday Ticket and are out of contract, you are evaluating DirectV Now vs Sling, and you want to see what their best offer is on Now. Your customer acquisition costs are barely recovered at this point, and your lifetime value as a customer is just starting to get recognized to its potential, and it much, much lower on the Now service. They may throw in the ticket as an incentive to stay on the traditional service if you say that could sway you to stay on the traditional satellite service

Anchor Bar: Manhattan and San Antonio

The one in Richmond has been open for about 4 months now..won't be open long, but that is due to location more than anything else. They are in a dead and dying mall, in a completely empty section that all other restaurants have failed in. And space is massive, so always feels empty and dead in there. Wings are good, but the hot's are at best a medium and the suicides are just nasty tasting...not hotter, just very off tasting. the beef on weck is actually much better than the wings, so I am sure that will be in all franchises. -

I have a pit/boxer mix...the nicest, gentlest dog we have ever owned. Next sweetest was a bit/lab mix. When he goes up to other dogs and they get cranky, he just turns his head away as he has no clue what to do...to even growl back or show any aggression just does not equate in his pea brain.. Would trust those two with kids more than any other dogs we have ever had

^^^ I am not against spanking, but i do not believe behavior is what this guy was talking about..he was talking about how kids are not prepared for the real world of disappointment, failure, not having your parents to help etc that when they get to college and beyond it is difficult for many of them to adjust to the real world. Someone mentioned John Rosemund above, think that guy is awesome and we used him as a guide bringing our kids up. But we also followed this site and principles . http://www.freerangekids.com/ ...and while my kids are 1000% away from being perfect, they can interact in the world and I think are prepared well for life outside the cocoon of the West End of Richmond and Mommies and Daddies house.
