It is hard to see what has happened to the Falls..Dads family goes back to the late 1800's there, Mom's family early 20th century. Dad and Mom lived there their entire life until we moved due to Love Canal. Dad owned a car dealership, my Mom was very active in the arts and civil projects..President of the Niagara Council of the Arts for a decade or so. I know it seems hard to believe now, but late 70's early 80's the Falls nightlife was great. 18 to drink in US, Canada was 19, Candian was 30% or so discount to US, but taken at par in the bars. We would switch our money all the time before going out. Candian girls were fun!!! Hard to see what it has become, but seems to me some small, and I mean very small, signs of times getting better. to the OP, I think both sides for pictures own their own attractiveness.Canada more panoramic and grand, American side more intimate.

I cant either. I was in town for a wedding on the Saturday of Game 4 so went to game 3, which was also an awesome game. Will never forget the wedding..was at the GI Holiday Inn when that joint was still nice. Girl from Niagara Falls, hubby from Boston. So pretty much a 50/50 split of guests. All the young guys were in the bar watching the game instead of being in the ballroom dancing and partying, and then even the older guys starting coming in..so somehow she got them to set up a TV in the ballroom for period 3 and overtime. Nothing sweeter than watching than watching that game with a bunch of Boston fans!!!!

I am going to take some liberty here and nominate a cast instead of a character..and that's the cast from Community. I loved that show, felt it never really got it's just due as a great great show. And man, looking on that cast now...John Oliver, Ken Jeung, Donald Glover, McHale, AlisonBrie, Chevy Chase, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs...And Dan Harmon is just out there.

I think they have to be close to that this year..there was not a whole lot to choose from when looking to relocate seats. I think the Bills save quite a few seats for loyal groups, but even still i bet they are close to 58K or so season tickets

My Pops would tell me stories about spear fishing for sturgeon in the lower river near the Whilpool in the 30s . Said he was with a buddy when they were abot 12 when the dude hooked a moster with the spear and it was the last they ever saw of him. He grew up basically in the gorge, knew every inch of it, swam all over that river, but nevr messed with the whilpool.

Fun game last night, little dirty stuff, some small tussles, love The District uni’s , even got a nice “ Rep the District” t shirt on the seat ! BTW, lot more Raptor fans there than I would have thought. Quite loud and funny pregame, maybe a few just a tad liquored up, but they were having fun and the back forth was all good natured and fun. Funnies thing was after the tussle with Beale and Valaclunus(so) USA chant started as refs reviewed. Then they played Born In The USA in the arena. Thought that was kinda funny! Cant wait for Sunday

Are they flying in and need to get to airport after? Uber a real pain in the rear after the game..flight before 6:30 can be problematic if game is close and they stay till the end

yes, it is not going to be cheap. We are flying into Ohare Friday..Cubbies game in the afternoon..RV to GreenBay early next day..airbnb for two nights..leave out of Ohare Monday morning. Our air is going to be close ro $350 too

people dont shout about the "hardness" of the schedule..for me its about how does the schdule fall in terms of getting to games. I wanted to go to Packers and Ravens this year, then never miss the opener..now we have 3 of those in first 4 weeks..and living in Richmond and having a kid in school who goes to games with me me.. one of those gunna have to go..looks like the Ravens it is very weird, I agree. Said last year pretty much any thread was not an official thread to Scottlaw bashed the Bills/McBeane and Promo bashed the Bills fans. Not sure of Scott has been in here yet, but we got half completed!

this schedule puts a serious hurt on me..hard to justify 3 of first 4 games, with two on the road..with the boss lady. And for me, all games are road games so really all 3 on road, just dont have to pay up for tickets 2 of the games
