  1. I'm actually really surprised how often "y'all" is used on this board. When I lived in upstate, NO ONE ever said, y'all, but it seems quite common now. (Moved away in 1990) Do people say it now, in general, like walking around town?
  2. Yeah, this project has involved the US and 13 other countries. (Canada and the European Space agency.)
  3. Thanks for the great write up, Virg. I'll really miss reading them if you decide to retire, but I understand 100%. Has it seriously been 10 years since you took over from Bill?? That's crazy how fast time flies. Let's go Buffalo!
  4. I have a different perspective on Sanchez...
  5. Great review, Shaw. That was Playoff Caliber. 😀
  6. I said the exact same thing to my wife, when Sanchez said that.
  7. I'm really happy to hear that you all had a good time back there. Part of me is really jealous... I haven't been to a home game since the 1991 AFC Championships! (That'll be 30 ago, next week!) Let's go Buffalo!
  8. Yeah, I love watching him playing up to his potential. Today may have been his best game as a Bill.
  9. Do good things simply to do good things, not for the purpose to be recognized for them.
  10. FFS. You've already ruined a fun, long-running thread on this board because of your persistent obsession, that there is no other life in the universe. Now you're going to drag this thread down the same path? Listen. Just know that you're the only one bringing alien life into the conversation. Please don't derail this thread. I'm very interested in hearing about the telescopes new-found discoveries, without having to read through your trolling.
  11. I've lived in 3 or 4 different regions of the US before moving overseas in 2005. I can easily say that Jerry Sullivan is the worst sports writer that I've encountered on my journeys. There were other hacks, but I have never read a more negative/douchie writer in my 52 years on God's green earth. It's a shame that we're all spending time talking about him now in 2021. (He should be purged from our memories like all the rest of the crap from the drought years.)
  12. Amen!
  13. Someone will need to pay for this thread.
  14. Well, it's already Christmas morning out here on the other side of the international date line. So, before heading out for a walk on the beach, I just wanted to wish all my Bills brothers and sisters a merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year! Let's go Buffalo!!!
  15. Bruce Smith #78 My all-time favorite player. Bad things man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU8gvF6WCIk
  16. For the first few years after moving to New Zealand, the wife and I tried to carry on with traditional northern hemisphere Christmas foods. However, after 4-5 years, we finally admitted to ourselves that those heavy foods do not go well in the summery southern hemisphere Christmas. So, instead of Turkey and Ham from the oven, it will be grilled seafood and meat on the barbie. (Snapper, prawns, steaks, sausages and burgers.) All of the local farms have honesty boxes and stalls at the end of their driveways, so we’ve loaded up with fresh berries, fruit and veg. Even some sweetcorn is already being harvested! That said, Merry Christmas to all my Bills brothers and sister scattered around the world!
  17. After seeing both of your posts, I copied the link to the lasagna recipe and sent it to my wife. She already makes a FANTASTIC lasagna, but I thought that maybe we could try a new recipe. The reviews for it are impressive! When she read the recipe, she immediately said it looked familiar, and went off looking for her old one. Sure enough, she came back from the kitchen with an old, worn out printed out recipe. It's the exact same one that you guys shared, same website, but was printed out in 2010! With all the recipes out there, I think it's pretty cool that at least three of us in this thread, not only use the same recipe, but agree that it's the best. Anyway, I hope you all have a great Christmas break!
  18. Don't assume the rest of the world is like that. 🙂
  19. Who's McKittrick? I know you're referring to McKenzie, but who's McKittrick?
