So first you call Bills fans ignorant, then you discuss your admiration of the Patriots* and now you insult strangers online with insults that don’t even apply? Must be fun hanging around the forum of your second favorite team (unless there are others you haven’t mentioned yet) being an internet tough guy.
So that’s when you became a Pats* fan?
So when exactly did you become a bandwagon Pats* fan Grampa? Did you “admire” them since the Grogan days? It’s ok, plenty of people switch allegiances to the winning teams when the going gets tough.
Marcus Easley. Special teams ace and pre-season stud with 3 career receptions and 1 TD over 6 seasons. I always believed (and still do) that he could have been a good receiver if he would have been given an opportunity. It also would have helped if he could have stayed healthy a bit more.
Gronk used to be the only thing I could tolerate about the Patriots*, but that ended the day he took that cheap shot on Tre. I do not want him here, he burned the bridge as far as I'm concerned.
Saying he hasn't reached his potential is an understatement. Wasn't he the #1 TE prospect when he came out? I definitely haven't seen any indication of that potential since.
I thought it was someone else who struggled switching sides. Kouandijo maybe? It had to do with a leg injury and the way he had to kick out from the line. (could have been both but not sure on Dawkins)
There will come a time soon where Hackett will be discussed as one of the up and coming offensive minds in the game and he will be considered for Head Coaching vacancies. Time will tell if it is merited or not but the Sean McVay effect will get him an opportunity.
Lots of players regress in their second year after a successful rookie season because they feel as though they have it figured out and it will be "easy" to maintain. That is not enough to release a talented player. The question now is what he will do with it now that he recognized what happened.
For the recored, I believe they told Mahomes he would be a 3rd or 4th round pick, but he decided to come out early anyways, in spite of the projection. Definitely not an exact science.
I highly fear that the Patriots* will go 0-16 that year, draft Lawrence and then go back to being a thorn in our sides for the next 15 years. Hope I'm wrong.
