I voted Allen. I REALLY wanted to say Kyle, for sentimental reasons, but JA was an obvious difference maker when he was on the field. He is one of those players that makes you think there is always a chance, even when things aren't going well.
I generally agree with the trade down concept, but if they "fall in love" with a player during the process and believe he could be a difference maker; All pro type of player and he is there at 9, I'd be happy they took him.
Well thought out post, I appreciate the effort. I would love to see a trade like that (Washington) happen but it seems like a bit much. I'd be happy with that trade minus the 2020 1st rounder though. You gave me some players in FA and the draft to research a bit more, so thanks!
That being said, are there any former Bills on the team?
I just looked up their roster and they have Trent Richardson. Crazy how far he has fallen... (and that he is still playing)
Might as well throw in a TD catch as well since that seems to be a play all teams are trying to perfect these days. In a pinch he could even kick a field goal if Hauschka gets hurt again.
Well, there were 17 teams with losing records and 15 teams with winning records and 12 playoff teams so it may not be true that 70% of every losing teams losses came again playoff bound teams as the OP pointed out. I'm too lazy to do the math though. ?
Of course now the experts will talk about how underrated they are going into next year and they will be the “sexy pick” for dark horse playoff contention. They get WAY more national media respect than they have earned.
