  1. Quick, get him to the Raiders before Hard Knocks ends.
  2. We will have a 1,000 rusher this season (most likely Shady) Beasley will have 100+ receptions Singletary will have 35+ receptions this season
  3. Thanks for the breakdown Gunner. By the way, I think my favorite part of this game was how desperately the announcing crew was trying to put a positive spin on things for the Panthers. Every time there was any good plays by Carolina (which was rare) they would say ok, now this will give them the momentum they need, and things like that. It had to be a Panthers focussed broadcast because they did not focus much on our players throughout the game.
  4. I agree. I am in the camp that believes Shady is going to have a big year.
  5. Would be interesting if he wins the job over Mariotta.
  6. What about Williams? I thought he looked good enough to get some more reps.
  7. He would never come here to be a third string QB and if he did, it would not be worth the media circus that would come with it.
  8. Matt Ryan got almost the entire first half yesterday. I was really surprised.
  9. They are featuring Keelan Doss quite a bit so far in this episode. I was really hoping that he was going to end up on the Bills. I have a feeling he will end up being a really good receiver in this league.
  10. #USCQB 2020 draft: trade Kyler Murray and draft Tua with #1 pick. 2021 draft: trade Tua and draft Trevor Lawrence with #1 pick rinse, repeat...
  11. By the way, #87 for the Falcons, TE Jaedon Graham really stood out yesterday. I'm not sure exactly where he is on their depth chart (I think he was practice squad last year) but he looked like the real deal in person. Once he caught my eye, I started keying on him and I was impressed. May not be a superstar type, but I am guessing he will become a solid pro.
  12. It will not. Darnold will be good but I am much happier that we have Allen. He will be a superstar. Allen and Darnold are very completive with each other, on and off the field, and I have a feeling that Allen will not allow himself to be bested by Darnold at anything. He is the alpha...
  13. Falcons stadium was pretty empty last night too. The fans that were there were pretty enthusiastic, but they don't have nearly as many die-hards as we do. They can use them to wipe their tears after they realize the media over-inflated the teams abilities once again.
  14. I agree with this, especially the punt return part. I am very intrigued by how his rugby skills would translate to punt or kickoff returns. I am also excited to see more of Singletary in the next 2 games, but game 4 should be a heavy dose of Wade.
  15. I was contemplating making the drive from Atlanta for this game but bailed at last minute. Hopefully I will be able to find it online. My guess is there will be plenty of Bills fans in attendance. What I want to see most is Ed Oliver making Cam feel the punishment promised by that stare he gave him a couple of days ago. I have a feeling he has bad intentions on his mind.
  16. Matt Ryan playing whole first half. Just threw 2 beautiful TD passes, both dropped in end zone Falcons fans booed loudly on both drops.
  17. Falcons fans around me don’t like Matt Ryan very much. Bitching about him constantly.
  18. I am at Jets Falcons game right now. Jets look better than Falcons right now. Darnold almost had his head taken off on one play.
  19. Prepare to be a hero (even if it was a well timed guess) or a goat of epic proportions. The “it fell through at the last second” excuse won’t save you.
  20. Oliver looks like one of those guys who manufactures a “hatred” for his opponents and convinces himself the opposing QB kicked his dog and stole his girlfriend. I love it.
  21. I heard the Texans head coach on the radio this morning saying that the joint practices are typically as important, if not more important than a pre-season game. He said it really helps him evaluate where his team is and what they need to work on.
  22. I would argue that Allen put it on Zay specifically so he could catch it and protect himself. Had it been any further in front of him, the safety would have been able to separate him from the ball rather than hit him after the “catch”. I guess we saw it differently.
  23. I could be wrong, but I don’t remember Tasker criticizing the throw. I thought he praised the throw and said Zay would likely have avoided the hit by catching the ball. If you are arguing that a QB is inaccurate if they don’t get the ball aligned to the receiver so that they are completely facing the QB, that is ridiculous. Hitting a receiver in stride on a crossing pattern or making an over the shoulder catch would preclude this. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your point?
  24. Funny thing is, he may not have made this roster if it weren't for the injuries. I love it when a player takes advantage of an opportunity when they get one.
