It is crazy that with all of the free agent moves made yesterday, the only thing they are talking about on NFLN is Tom Brady's announcement. He hasn't even left yet!

There is no way of knowing how big of a factor David Johnson was in their decision. If they think he is their "Derrick Henry", they may have valued him as worth more than the #22 pick in this draft. Houston's GM/coach is a wild card and assuming you know what deal he would prefer is foolish.

Almost every #1 WR is a me first guy.

He looks slow on game tape? That does not seem right to me. He looks plenty fast from what I have seen.

Yeah, same in my county in Georgia, although they just said “until further notice”. I imagine the whole state will follow suit.

Higgins, Cervenka, Simmons, etc... Plenty of great option there.

Damn! there are so many good receivers in the draft this year, it is crazy. That being said, I just hope the one we pick pans out.

I have not been a big fan of Josh Norman, especially recently, but I trust McDermott when it comes to DB's. If he says he's a fit, I'll take his word for it.

First of all, it is a ridiculous take, pretending to have any idea what kind of shape he is in right now. Secondly, I would rather he work on his footwork, touch, timing etc right now, rather than doing curls so that he looks good in T shirts for fans who want to see his muscles. This is the off-season, and I am just happy to see he is working on his craft putting in the time to keep becoming a better QB. He has several months before he has to worry about getting back into game time shape.

Oh, I agree, very different styles. I just meant people said he did not get keyed on by the defense because of the talent around him. For some reason, I see him on the Saints, (probably the Louisiana thing, but his skills would fit too) or the Patriots. (that would suck, especially if Brady stayed). That being said, I would not be upset if we drafted him at 22.

Everyone said the same thing about DK Metcalf last year, and he had a pretty good rookie season.

He played a lot of slot at LSU from what I saw, but I believe he has the skill to play outside in the NFL.

I agree that it would be great to get a taller receiver, but I truly believe that Jefferson will end up being one of the top 2 receivers in this draft when all is said and done. Really hard to pass on him if he is there. I know there are a lot of Laviska Shenault fans on this board, but his injury history concerns me.

I chose unsure, only because of the limited options. I think he will likely be our starting RT, unless we pick up a strong free agent RT. (I originally abbreviated that, but FA RT did not look right ?). I also don't think his "struggles" were necessarily injury related, I think they were primarily due to the fact that he was a rookie. I think we will find out this year if he will be the answer at RT, based on the improvement he makes in his sophomore season.

My favorite take away from this story, is that we are seeing more and more "analysts" list Buffalo as a suitable location for some of the top Free Agent targets out there. In the past it was very rare for us to be tied to any FA speculation, but now people are starting to see that we are moving in the right direction, and 1 or 2 key acquisitions could put us in the mix for a deep run into the play-offs.

I would be happy with Cooper, but I would still want to see us draft a receiver or Offensive play maker in the first or second round.

No, we need to continue building through the draft and free agency. We need that first pick to add a player that will develop with Josh for the next several years. Trading a pick away for a player that will demand a big pay day next year is a bad move on my opinion.

Not that I think it will affect where he ends up in free agency, but AJ Green is currently building a really nice house right by me in Roswell GA. I am guessing it is where he plans on retiring. I also heard he has been working out at the gym that I go to in the off season, so he already has a place around here somewhere.

That would be Chase Young. But unfortunately, there is no way we are getting him.

Regardless of how you feel about Cooper, it definitely is cool to see "experts" considering us as a free agency destination because we are "one player away". In the past, we were never mentioned as a possible landing spot, even if we were a good fit, because we weren't considered relevant. I have confidence in Beane to weigh the options and make the right choice, but in the meantime, I will take the speculation as a compliment to the organization and the direction we are headed in.

So he’s going to KC to back up Mahomes? Such a ring chaser.
