Yeah, that should be the plan.

I agree for the most part. He also had the best receiver in the nfl and has a terrible record against teams above .500 (team stat but still). its also interesting that Ebron was a bust in Detroit but became a pro bowler with Luck. Yup. And while you certainly can do much worse than Stafford, I hope Allen is either a bigger star than Stafford or a bust because you are kinda trapped paying MS that kinda of money.

Well because he’s 30! If Gore breaks down this year, will anyone be surprised? This is a family board sir!

Josh Allen rookie cards - is anyone else All-En?

I remember when I was real young, some goon who owned a card store traded me two Sabres (Ruutu and Puppa) for some rookie I never heard of named Hasek. -
I still don’t get paying old rbs $3 million / season. Who is bidding against us for Ivory and Gore? And Ivory had some nice moments. still, I’d always go with the young, cheap rb with upside.

Antonio Brown on Instagram trashing Bills!

Yeah, we really showed him!!! 1) he is a POS that’s why I didn’t know why they were trying to get him in the first place 2) if this makes you upset, you need to grow a pair -

Are cards even worth anything now? I spent way too much money on cards and I couldn’t give most of them away now. -
Agreed. But some of the bigger criticisms of Allen were the mental part of the game. So obviously, he’s not a dumb person. But guys like EJ (28), JP (31), and Trent did well too and it really didn’t mean much. i was called the biggest homer on this board for years. I always wanted players to be good. I freely admit I have a blind spot to judging Bills players. I didn’t want Allen. And it had nothing to do with his physical skills or mental abilities. History says that if Allen becomes a successful qb, it will be a huge expectation to the general rule. I wish I could just join the cult of Allen and just blindly believe. Sorry but years of blindly believing and getting let down made me real skeptical. I’m need much more than 52% and a solid wonderlic score to change that. And as always, I hope the homers are right. You’re welcome nerd. That’s fair. But like the SATs, there are other factors for certain scores.

You played JV as a junior, huh? Sorry dude.

Why get personal by pointing out things I’ve done. Don’t be jealous. Have a rational discussion like a grown up.
-
By using facts? Doesn’t mean Jackson is better but he did make the playoffs and have a better completion % and qb rating.

Holy homer! Relax. Of course, it’s better than him doing terrible on it. But read his scouting report (and if you took off your homer shades, you would see some truth) and his weaknesses. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/josh-allen?id=32462018-0002-5600-29bc-8750224414bd Pre-snap game plan appears unfocused field reading is spotty Needs to play smarter and place higher value on the ball Anticipatory throws don't seem to come naturally so I’m glad he is good at tests. But seeing a Belichick defense is much different than knowing which vowel is halfway between C and P.
-
He had better passing numbers than our guy.
-
Well of the 1st round qbs, dumb Lamar was the only one in the playoffs.
-
On a test. I played with dudes who could barely read yet could master a playbook. I played with guys who went to IVY league schools who struggled to remember plays. If anything the wonderlic should be football or playbook related.
-
Yeah, these aren’t related at all. Jim Kelly got a 15. Marino got a 16. Fitz got a 48. football intelligence is completely different than wonderlic “intelligence.”
-
Most perfect match ever.

Ryan Fitzpatrick to sign with Miami
C.Biscuit97 replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz has had a career better than 90% of nfl qbs.
