  1. Not to defend that crap team but they have had both of their really good DEs out for most of that time. Those are some big losses. and they are very soft anyways.
  2. Hollywood average season with Lamar the RB: 787 yards and 7 tds without the running back holding him back: 641.5 and 3.5 tds oh and the Ravens traded Brown for a pro bowl C. Extremely overrated, little receiver who Lamar maxed out.
  3. Trust me, I am very happy with the win and had a great tailgate (I won). But the Cards were a bad team last year with one of the worst defenses in the nfl. I think they should be better but that is not great competition we faced on Sunday. love our groups of WRs as guys but I would like to see them against better defenses but I’m sold on them.
  4. I love MVS as a guy but wait until he has a monster drop. I wish it wasn’t true but there’s a reason 6’5” 4.4 guys who play with Rodgers and Mahomes bounce around.
  5. I mean the guy got paid a lot of money and pretty much everything we got was negative. Let’s hope he’s somewhat of a presence this year but he earned everyone of those doubters. also is there a better position than pass rusher. You can be invisible all game but if you make 2 or 3 plays, you can make a ton of money.
  6. My favorite thing about Fitz is all they did is talk about how he went to Harvard and he is the exact opposite of a guy you expect went to Harvard. Wish he was our back up qb.
  7. Dude was an awesome Bill, plays the hardest position to physically play in the nfl, and has two of the worst injuries you can have. I only have love for Tre and hope he still proves he can play.
  8. I do think draft picks do get a little overvalued. Chances they get a better wr than even a declining Diggs this year in the 2nd are pretty low. we know Diggs is a head ass but a locked in, one year Diggs can he give for them. Can’t wait for that game.
  9. Don’t totally disagree but I just think the mindset of something being a failure because you don’t win the SB is a little harsh. They are going all in on a rookie QB while he’s cheap and I respect the gamble. also at this point, would you trust Diggs on a multi year deal?
  10. Very rich.
  11. Just to be clear, 2 tds is not good. Excellent point. also, good WRs opens up things for other players because of the cb they fast or coverage they draw.
  12. He’s always been a solid all around DE. But man if he could become a double digit sack guy, that’s a game changer for this defense.
  13. Jones sucks and it’s insane he’s getting paid what he’s getting. But “fans” like that are garbage human beings and odds are they are way worse at their job than Jones is at his. And booing another grown man has always been really weird to me.
  14. So if Coleman had that stat line, you won’t be happy? Diggs is a douche but man, some fans are completely irrational.
  15. The weirdest player in a while that is good and some fans hate on: James Cook. Love his overs on everything.
  16. As someone who lost their mind over picking a 56% passer who didn’t make 1st or 2nd team Mountain West, the Allen pick alone gets him an A for life. Having an elite qb gives you a chance every year. early on without the Allen contract, I would say he’s an easy A-/ B+. The last free years I’d say it’s been more C (Vs get degrees!). His job is much harder now but overall, he’s done a really good job. i mean this as positively as possible but he is Whaley if he hit on a qb.
  17. Sounds you’re the one making this a racial thing because of your own biases. imagine in 2024 thinking the reason that reason the qb on the most dominant regular season team won the mvp because he’s black. That would sound kinda racist.
  18. These plays happen all the time to every qb. It’s the hardest job in sports. Lamar isn’t the best passer but he’s really good.
  19. Yeah, the Heisman trophy college qb who Polian said should switch positions is now the beneficiary of his race. I don’t know people who think like this function. maybe and this is crazy, the qb from the most dominant team who were killing everyone (see the SF game) and only had flukes losses deserved to be the MVP.
  20. So two MVPs at 27 doesn’t make you a top 10 qb? That’s a tough standard. and this is where fantasy football has ruined football (and I love fantasy). The Ravens were curb stomping teams last year. There is so stat they were only trailing in a game for like 15 minutes all season. A dime a dozen Gus Edwards had 13 tds. I guess to a real “MVP” Lamar should stat padded in second halves where they had double digit leads and audible to qb sneaks at the 1. It’s silly. Allen could have 15 less tds this year and be a better qb. And if that happens and the Bills are good, he will be in MVp consideration.
  21. Hollins and MVS are great lockerroom guys, but if those are your answers, you need to ask better question. Hopefully, Coleman emerges but the lack of a good downfield threat puts a burden on the offense imo.
  22. Speaks to your mindset that is how you took that comment.
  23. Yup and the hate is because Lamar looks different than his people think nfl qbs look. probably the most prototypical qb of all time is Peyton Manning. He didn’t win his first SB until 30. Lamar is 27 and is getting crushed because he lost to Mahomes and the Chiefs on the road by a toe.
