  1. There's no load management this week. Keon, Kincaid, etc.. whoever can play and contribute is suiting up. It's going to be a simulated playoff game with real playoff intensity. If KC keeps winning and the Bills decide to back off a bit in the final 3 weeks to protect people, i can see that.
  2. That's where Von messed up his knee that took him over a year to recover. But his knee got hit, that's not turf related.
  3. It's embarrassing for McD, but maybe just as much for his staff giving him advice and recommendations from the booth. It was pretty clear as McD stumbled through his answer in the post game presser than he didn't think about the ramifications of using that 3rd timeout. He said yesterday in his media call that they've "learned from it". Ok i guess.
  4. This Detroit game is going to be great. There's so many reasons the Bills are going to show up and ball out for this game. 1) McDermott, Babich and the defense were humiliated. They were taken to school vs LA and I can guarantee as high level competitors, the defense is coming as if this is a playoff game. We all hope they stay away from injuries, but this is probably the final game before playoffs that everyone who can play is playing and going 110%. They will be flying around the ball and tackling better to make amends from last week. They can't allow another opposing team Star player to go off with a career day. They can't and won't allow Detroit's Oline to dominate the trenches. 2) The Special Teams were humilated vs LA. They allowed a punt block TD and then went brain dead on being prepared for the final punt. They never even gave themselves a chance to block the Rams punt or set up a return due to 9 men on the field. Enough said, those guys will be dialed in. 3) Without Allen's amazing scrambling, the rushing attack netted 21 yards. The Bills Oline will be coming out ready to be fast and physical in the run game. They will win the trench battle this week. 4) Allen is going for the MVP. It's all in his control. I know some people here don't care, but I've heard Dion and some of the other guys talk about it as being a big deal in the room. Despite what people think, the MVP is not in the bag yet. If the Bills play well and Allen leads them to a win, he leaves Detroit with the MVP in the bag. If they lose and Josh does so-so, the door swings open for Saquon to have a shot. Tough to go 0-2 in the big late afternoon game two Sunday's in a row while the nation is watching.
  5. I was not Ok with this loss either, but I also wasn't OK with getting physically whipped 35-10 at Baltimore or the Houston debacle.
  6. Yep, I think ownership and GM were very pleased with the progress of all the talent they amassed and were counting on them to ascend while getting better goaltending too. As it turns out, in true Buffalo fashion, all those guys simply had career seasons at the same time. In the final week they had a head to head game with Florida and lost 3-2. Then missed the playoffs by a point to Florida.
  7. The loss to NE and some other high scoring losses...the Commanders, Steelers and two Ravens games come to mind.
  8. The Bengals are not making the playoffs. it’s over for them. the teams above aren’t going to lose out or whatever collapse the Bengals need to happen. But if they did play then Bills, chase would go for about 15 receptions 220 yards.
  9. Even in a lost season for Dallas, that is just a brutal way to lose. From a great punt block to that. Wow.
  10. A shoot out win for once, would be nice.
  11. “Dude, Andy Reid never messes up this end of game time out and clock management stuff, You Suck!”
  12. Terry, for the love of the city please sell the Sabres. Been asking you nicely for 3 years now. Any other owner by sheer accident would have a better team. and if they get sold and moved so be it. This has been embarrassing for years now.
  13. I heard the rant today. pretty spot on really. The Bills offense best plays are Allen running like a maniac and throwing passes into 6 inch windows from 25-30 yards away. The best plays for KC are converting 3rd and 7’s to maintain possession and not miss field goals. and the last few years KC has a defense that can be trusted in playoff time especially.
  14. I heard on radio today, i think Gary Danielson? anyway he said the Bama AD is angry and the SEC has a lot of power. They don’t like having 3 teams while the Big10 has four. He speculates the SEC will demand four teams to be selected in the future and will get their way. He said they would do away with Conference Championship game weekend. Those games will be eliminated. and the SEC and maybe Big10 will have play-in games to determine who the 4th teams will be.
  15. The defense laid an egg yesterday. Learn from it, correct the issues, wash it off and move on to Detroit. They were not winning 16 games in a row to win the SB. Now they can reset and start playing solid football.
  16. McD stubbornly seemed to agree in his media call today that it’s something “they discussed” today and will learn from. That they needed to keep those 3 timeouts no matter what. He had a tough time articulating his thoughts about this after the game. I’m not even sure he was aware the ball was closer to the 1.5 yard line. which makes a big difference on the tush push. That’s far from automatic as we saw a couple times yesterday.
  17. Crazy that the Bengals kicker pulled a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Nice. Parson got obviously held and they let it go on that td drive.
  18. I noticed it too when Josh was not scrambling or getting some easy yards in the first half. He airmailed one out of bounds when he could’ve easily gotten the first. But really the Bills had no answer for how hard the Rams were gonna come out in a must win game for them. We were still in AFC East champs, snow angel mode. These final games will be interesting since Buffalo may not have anything much to play for (if KC keeps winning). and then they will have to flip the switch to must-win mode in January.
  19. Brady’s finest moment as a broadcaster was on full display, explaining to the audience and McDermott how those final offensive plays and timeouts needed to be handled. Of course Sean blew it. Brady you could tell was frustrated with him.
  20. One thing about KC continuing to win and being 12-1 is that one blemish is Josh and the Bills. If they can put a dent into Detroit that’s ballgame for the MVP. Like others said, probably his regardless.
  21. I agree. Josh has been in full stride for several seasons now. every year that goes by he will start losing a tick of speed and prob be a little less durable. It’s just fact when you approach 30. However, like Stafford shows and Brady of course, the early 30’s is where the wisdom comes in. the game is just second nature, the completion% goes up, they can read a defense in one second and hopefully a little more careful in terms of not taking hits.
  22. Think about it, there was a full six-game stretch to start the season where Mahomes totaled 6 TDs and 8 int’s. Six full games! Then you see the silliness that Allen displayed yesterday in one game.
  23. I still think there’s a real chance KC loses at Pittsburgh and at Denver. But the Bills need to do their part and beat Detroit.
  24. Some bad calls on both clubs and some really bad non-calls, or ignored stuff. Von really doesn’t get the respect he probably deserves as offensive linemen arms are draped around his neck on a few plays.
  25. On Cowherd's show, his opening monologue was just 5 minutes of railing on how the Bills (organization, coaches)...are completely wasting Josh Allen's career and greatness. He was borderline angry about it.
